Chapter 167: Damn Wang Kai

"I love myself and know my worth," Xia Sha ended her answer with a smile.

Xia Sha's arrogant and fierce gaze is burning Meng Ran's facade away. The ever calm and pink rose turned dark. Those bright eyes filled with ugly jealousy and hatred. Meng Ran stomped her feet, intended to walk away from Xia Sha that instant. 

Xia Sha caught Meng Ran's thin wrist before she escapes from her sight. Xia Sha's standoffish lazy-voice crawl under Meng Ran's skin as she whispered, "And I don't need drugs to do that."

Meng Ran froze in her place. She did not even react when Xia Sha threw her hand away and walk away from her. She tried to calm her nerves by gritting her teeth and think about good memories. 

I'm born rich. I'm living the best life in this world. My mom and dad dote on me. They took me to a night market one day, and we feed that little girl a corndog! 

Yes! That girl is Xia Sha! Xia Sha is that pitiful girl that outcasted by the world since she is born. 

My mother is Shen Xia Fei. She is full of elegance and beauty.

"I need it!" Meng Ran suddenly shouted in the middle of the crowd. Her eyes were bloodshot were horrifying when she looked up and swept through everyone. 

They were looking at me! Those pitiful gazes. 

"Aiya, her mother is that famous crazy woman in that small street. Her father is a worthless bastard. This child, she-" Meng Ran heard those voices again. Like a maniac, she tried to find those voices, striding hurriedly at one guest. 

"SHUT UP!" 

She shouted and attacked a middle-aged woman. Her action makes grab everyone's attention. 

Mother Guan especially saw this mess and called the security instantly. 

"I'm not like that! I'm not like that!" Meng Ran yelled. 

She tried to break free from the security that drags her outside the hotel. Meng Ran won't give up. 

She bites the security hand in an attempt to escape. But the security was more robust than she thought.  Once they are outside, they throw her out from the back door. One of the security shot her a disgusted look and sneer at her. 

"Crazy woman! Go away!" he rebukes with one last censorious glance. 

Meng Ran stumped on the ground. She fixed her gaze on the floor she sat on. She sat the for a long time, unmoved with a blank expression. 

A man standing on the faraway balcony pressed his earpiece. There is no emotion in his face as he reported, "Situation clear."

On the exact opposite of the balcony on Meng Ran's side, there stood Guan Xian with his white polo shirt. A cool gleam appears in his eyes, but his mouth quirks up into a smile. He looks pleased but annoyed at the same time. 

His plan was going well so far. Before the event started, he arranged for someone to change the pills on Meng Ran's purse with a powder that looks exactly like her's drug. 

That pills got transferred to Bai Jing. The girl Wang Kai bought tonight. 

Bai Jing is Guan Xiao Ni's friend in high school. She is also the first person to turn her back at Xiao Ni. Guan Xian never sees her as a good person. Something is bothering him behind Bai Jing's pretense. 

Not only she a manipulative person. Guan Xian just found out from his team's further investigation that Bai Jing is also a drug addict with an obsessive love for Yan Xi. 

From that moment on, Guan Xian has known; there is nothing good about this girl. Not even her taste in man and fashion. He regrets doing nothing when Guan Xiao Ni befriend Bai Jing.

However, Bai Jing plays a crucial role in Guan Xian's master plan tonight. Bai Jing will show Pang Ze Tian's actual relationship with Yan Xi. 

With Meng Ran's drug on her wine, Bai Jing will slowly lose her consciousness. The drug will stimulus her to lose her composure and went to Yan Xi when she saw him with Xiao Ni. 

Guan Xian has talked about this with Wang Kai. Wang Kai takes Xiao Ni away so Bai Jing will have time with Yan Xi. Wang Kai needs to do it before Pang Ze Tian's sight so everything will move according to Guan Xian's plan. 

But what is this? 

Why is Guan Xiao Ni suddenly appear on the balcony? Where the heck is Wang Kai?!

"Brother, every man in this world is a bad guy except for you and father," Xiao Ni frowned with moistened eyes. She stretched her arms, looking for comfort under Guan Xian's warm embrace. 

Guan Xian cursed at Wang Kai under his breath and went to hug his little sister back.

"Brother, why my life becomes a mess?"

"Brother, why man can move on fast?"

"Brother, why they give up so easily? I wait for him for years. Why can't he fight for me."

"Brother, I'm so tired." 

Xiao Ni buried her face in Guan Xian's chest. Her eyes were teary as she tried to hold her sobs. 

Guan Xian's felt his heartache for her little sister. A part of him regretted involving Wang Kai and Xiao Ni in his plan. He doesn't even need to guess. 

These two stubborn people were so predictable. 

Xiao Ni must be upset because Wang Kai bought Bai Jing with him. And Wang Kai must have left because he couldn't control his jealousy. He must have wanted to flip the whole party upside down, but he put importance in Guan Xian's plan.

Guan Xian felt sorry to implicate their relationship into this. He hesitantly raises his hand to brush Xiao Ni's silky hair while he tried to soften her heart for Wang Kai. 

"Silly girl, why you play hard to get if you still want to be together?" 

Xiao Ni nudges her head to the left, didn't dare to look directly at Guan Xian. 

"I..I... I thought that it was best for us. You know, at that time, everything seems so complicated that I  want to cut all of the tangled thread. I'm trying to be a strong woman. I wanted to show him that I can live without him." Xiao Ni brushes one tear that fallen on her cheeks. 

Guan Xian bows down to equalize his height with her. When his face is on the same level as her face, Guan Xian blows her ears to grab her attention. 

"Stinky girl, that is because you know he will always tolerate and wait for you. Don't think I don't know you wicked brain!" Guan Xian stands straight again. 

Xiao Ni is about to say something, probably a refute. But something caught Guan Xian's eyes when he about to laugh out loud. 

A young and vigorous man that wears a pale yellow polo shirt seems to fasten his pace. Occasionally, he would look back with a worried face. Right behind him is a middle-aged woman. She dressed too young for a middle-aged woman. Not to mention she is someone's Mrs from a prestigious family. 

Guan Xian loses his urge to laugh at his silly sister instantly. In a swift movement, he covered Xiao Ni's mouth with his hand. He pulls her to hide behind the big, wide curtain.

Xiao Ni's position is below Guan Xian, who is taller than her. She tilted her head and looked at Guan Xian with bewildered eyes. Guan Xian smiles wryly and forces her to look at them again. 

"Sttt!" he warned her and turned her head with his index finger.

"Yan Xi, wait, what do you mean by breaking up?" The middle-aged woman asked with an aggrieved expression. There is running on her cheek while she looks at the young man. 

It's Yan Xi and Pang Ze Tian! 

Xiao Ni gasped quietly upon watching the drama unfold before her eyes. 

The young man, Yan Xi, raised his hand and brushed through his hair in frustration.

"Tian Zi, don't think you can fool me. You've been fooling around with that Ling Guang, don't you!" He accused with a restrained scream. 

"That is because you have something behind my back with that Bai Jing girl! Also, Xiao Ni!" Pang Ze Tian called Xiao Ni names out loud. 

Xiao Ni's jaw dropped on the floor. She looked at that two people in disbelief. Why does her name got dragged into this affair? That is so disgusting! 

"Don't call my woman name with your dirty mouth."

Suddenly a man with his domineering frosty aura appears from the end of the corridor. He looks unhappy when Xiao Ni's name comes out from Pang Ze Tian's mouth. 

Guan Xian furrowed his eyebrow about the man's sudden appearance. Also, from too much happiness he felt coming from his little sister. He pursed his lips. 

"Don't call my woman name with your dirty mouth," The man warned them. 

Guan Xian gritted his teeth when he heard that man's involved in Pang Ze Tian and Yan Xi's affair. This damned Wang Kai! He should have known he will always betray their friendship for Love!

All the empathy Guan Xian felt before evaporates into thin air. He shouldn't help Wang Kai getting Xiao Ni back! Look at how proud and arrogant he is right now he should get his beauty without his help!

"I should stick to my aggrieved and furious brothers of Juliet! Damn Wang Kai!" he murmured.
