Chapter 168: We All Need Vodka

"Don't call my woman name with your dirty mouth!"

"Whoa, he is so cool," Guan Xian heard the unwanted murmured coming out from her little sister's mouth. Wrinkled his nose, he flicked Xiao Ni's forehead with his finger. 

Xiao Ni groaned in a low voice while frowning at Guan Xian. She pouted when she found Wang Kai had walked away from the corridor. He seems busy finding someone and didn't care much about Yan Xi and Pang Ze Tian's matters.

"Don't talk nonsense. Xiao Ni is my best friend. I would never hook up with her," Yan Xi gritted his teeth. His face looks conflicted as he scolds Pang Ze Tian. 

"Look! What kind of friend you made?" Guan Xian scoffed, he flicks Xiao Ni's glowing forehead again.

Xiao Ni started to felt wronged by his brother. Moreover, it began to hurt because he keeps poking on the same spot. She pouted and murmured aggrievedly. 

"I'm only trying to be kind. What's wrong with-" Xiao Ni puffed her cheek as she did not know what to say. She ended up lowering her head and reflected on herself. 

"Maybe you can't be together with Xiao Ni. What about that Bai Jing girl?" 

Yan Xi's face turns a little less conflicted when Pang Ze Tian decided to let go of Xiao Ni. But he still doesn't look pleased as Pang Ze Tian questioned him about Bai Jing.

Bai Jing, she is just- a flight. A mistake even. But Yan Xi has decided that he did not want to be with Pang Ze Tian again.

"Whatever it is, you know we can keep our relationship. You have a husband!" Yan Xi was firm on breaking up. 

Pang Ze Tian stares at Yan Xi in disbelief and sadness. She looked down and stared at her abdomen, slowly strokes her lower abdomen.

Guan Xian and Xiao Ni gasped at the same time.

Yan Xi steps backward, shaking his head. "Impossible!"

"It's yours." Pang Ze Tian said with soft tones, one that could coax man. 

Yan Xi was rendered speechless for a long time. Pang Ze Tian waited for him patiently. After some time, she grabs Yan Xi's hand and puts it on her flat stomach. 

Yan Xi's first reaction is to smack Pang Ze Tian's hand away and sharpened his gaze. 

"Maybe it's not mine. After all, you sleep with many men. Stop living in delusion. We can't be together. I have Kai Xin and our baby. You, you belong to my uncle!" 

"Kai Xin and your baby? Hahaha! Are you kidding me right now? You thought that is your baby? Who gave you this idea? Xia Sha? Xiao Ni?" Pang Ze Tian burst into laughter.

Her laughter doesn't sound pleasing to the ear. Xiao Ni wipes her ears, apologizing to her eardrum to hear such a horrific voice. 

"Brother, this aunty is so annoying. How could Xia Sha stand her?" Xiao Ni grumbles. 

"Why do you think she move out from the manor?" Guan Xian rolled his eyes. 

"I don't know, to rebel?" Xiao Ni pursed her lips. 

Guan Xian's lips twitched, and he flicks Xiao Ni's forehead again. "That is you! She is not as idle as you!" 

"Wei! I'm telling mom if you keep hitting me. But this aunty is-" Xiao Ni could not find the word to describe her feeling towards Pang Ze Tian. 

"Isn't it a little too late for her to be so sexually depraved?" She tilted her head in amazement. 

"You are crazy. That is indeed my baby. I remember that night vividly. I was with her. So please, let us end everything right now. That baby- it must be uncle Xia's." 

"No! It's is not Xia Qi Feng's baby! I knew it yours! I never sleep with anyone but you. Xia Qi Feng never touch me! It's not his baby, and if he knew about this, he would kill me! You need to help me!" Pang Ze Tian's shift from deranged to pathetic so fast that it's fascinating Xiao Ni. 

"Are you crazy? You know he would kill you if you have a baby. What is the point of telling me then? You should abort it!" Yan Xi's hand is gesticulating widely.

Pang Ze Tian glances around for a second before she continues her tirade with teary eyes. 

"How could you do that to me? How could you do that to our baby? You want to abort this baby and take responsibility for Kai Xin's baby? Are you out of your mind?"

"Stop trying to manipulate me. Don't you think I will never realize you are just using me to hurt Xia Sha? You think I will never realize your plan to sabotage the Xia family?" Yan Xi is adamant. 

Pang Ze Tian gasped loudly, and a loud sound of a slap echoed throughout the corridor.

"You know what I've to go through for standing here today. You knew that Xia Qi Feng forced me to do that!" Pang Ze Tian gritted her teeth. She had enunciated every syllable coldly to Yan Xi's. 

"Hah, he did not force you to sign that agreement. And also, you have reaped a lot from him, haven't you? You are Mrs. Xia now. Even though you basically won't living your life if Aunty Shen suddenly falls sick again," Yan Xi retorted indifferently. 

Pang Ze Tian raised her index finger at Yan Xi with a threatening look. Her lower lips have turned white because she has been biting them to surpass her anger. 

"You are going to regret that you mess with me," Pang Ze Tian emphasize with a low tone before she walked away from Yan Xi's sight. 

Yan Xi watched her back and loudly cursed. His hand ran through his hair in frustration and kicked the pillar in his reach. 

"Fuck!"

"I need vodka," Xiao Ni leans into a big column near them. She felt she has no energy left after hearing their conversation.

Oh my God! What a big mess! 

"Oh please, we all need vodka," Guan Xian chuckles and slowly drinks his wine. He walked away with a happy fave after Yan Xi left. Pressing his micro earpiece, he smirked. 

"Did you recorded that?" 

"Recorded, boss," another voice said from the micro earpiece. Guan Xian nodded his head slightly. Hee slides his hand to his pants pocket, walks into the ballroom again. 

Far on the deep corridor, two bulky men wearing a black suit are waiting for Yan Xi under the shadow. Yan Xi wasn't aware of the threat waiting for him. All he knew is darkness after someone grabbed his hand with force. 

When he opens his eyes, a man wearing a brown suit is sitting in front of him with cigarettes in his hand. Yan Xi squinted his eyes. But when his vision got clear, fear starts creeping into his heartbeat. 

"U-Uncle! What are you doing here?" Yan Xi stutters when he recognizes that brown-suited man. 

An ignorant gaze stared at him when that middle-aged man heard Yan Xi calling him Uncle. 

"Uncle? I thought you don't remember me anymore. How is she?" the 'Uncle' raised his eyebrow at Yan Xi coldly. 

"W-What? Who- Who is she?" Yan Xi's adam apple wobbled up and down nervously. 

"Pang Ze Tian, of course. Who else?" The uncle frowned, getting impatient when his cigarettes burned out. 

"Uncle Xia! I'm sorry! I- I was- My eyes got blinded for a moment because-" Yan Xi stop talking. His eyes started turning red for the overwhelming feeling inside of him. There is regret written on his eyes, but also self-justification. 

However, he does realize that what he had done was wrong. No matter how he justified himself. 

"I knew you were worried about your company. But why do you think Pang Ze Tian could help you with that? What exactly did you get from her?" Xia Qi Feng's forehead creased in lines, showing his displeasure. 

Yan Xi can't answer Xia Qi Feng. Deep inside, he did not want Xia Qi Feng to know that he sleeps with Pang Ze Tian for that one percent shares she had. It's something big for Yan Xi back then, but when he heard himself giving that reason to Xia Qi Feng, he felt ashamed. 

"You- Did you impregnate the kid from Kai's family for the same reason? I don't realize how poorly educated you are!" Xia Qi Feng raised his tone, slamming hard the table in front of him. 

Yan Xi got jolted. Xia Qi Feng is famous for his short temper in their family. Even his mother, Xia Qi Feng's sister, did not dare to talk to Xia Qi Feng when he is furious.

He closed his eyelids and wait for Xia Qi Feng's beating. 

However, Xia Qi Feng would never lay his hand on him. He merely gives him a disappointed look and posed a question to him. 

"I don't want to waste more time with you. You only need to answer my questions, and I'll let you go."

Yan Xi looked up in surprise and nodded his head frantically, "Uncle, I'll say every truth that I know! I swear!" 

"Hm, then I need to know Pang Ze Tian's plan and where is her agreement letter?"

"Agreement letter? Uncle, did you lost the agreement letter?" Yan Xi's eyes flared up when he learned the fact. 

"No, Pang Ze Tian is still trying to take the document from you until this moment. She did not know the document is missing," Yan Xi confessed sincerely. 

Xia Qi Feng's frown got deeper when he observed Yan Xi's expression.. He pressed his lips into a thin line. If the agreement letter is not in Pang Ze Tian's hand, then who dares to take it?
