100 years before Divorce
Notifying is one thing, but attending is another thing.
The meeting for Xia Sha's hotel project starts sharply at one. Not a single person dares to be tardy, not even the project leader. Everybody attending knew the meeting would not running smoothly.
Not when Xia Sha is not the project leader.
"The name and logo are important! We can not choose it over a vote." Xia Sha furrowed her eyebrow at Xiao Zhan on the lead seat.
"We can develop it over time. It's only a trivial matter against the hotel's vision and mission. We should not waste time debating logos or names anymore." Xiao Zhan answer calmly.
"Well, we don't have to debate things if we just use what's written inside the proposal." Xia Sha pointed out in her well-written proposal.
"Well, the name is okay, but I just feel we should finalize our fundamentals first before choosing the logo," Xiao Zhan answered. Xia Sha rolls her eyes and stares at the logo choices.
"I like the middle logo," Xia Sha declares. She looks at Xiao Zhan with settled looks. Pretty sure everyone there knew what does she meant.
"You like it, so we need to choose it?" Xiao Zhan rebuke with a 'are you joking?' tone.
Xia Sha pressed her lips and set her face to looks flat. They stare at each other for three seconds. It's not a staring competition that could cause one heart thump. It makes her gritted her teeth while his lips twitched.
To Xia Sha, his long silence and raising eyebrows means like she is pushing her to answer his question. Which is not necessary because all of them must have known the answer to that now.
"Don't you guys agree?" She turns around her leather chair to look at everyone at the meeting table. They compactly averted their gaze and avoiding Xia Sha's eyes.
"No objection, there, one problem settled! Thanks to me," Xia Sha give Xiao Zhan a wide grin. To everyone else's understanding, Xia Sha is openly sending a war invitation to Xiao Zhan. Which he likely accepted by smiling back at her.
"No Xia Sha, you are not the leader of the project that could use that right to decided things all on your own." Xiao Zhan said calmly, before adding, "Moreover, what's the point of this meeting if we all just going to listen to your decision?"
"You are absolutely right. There is no point in this meeting but proving you are a lousy leader who could not even choose a logo." She smirks at Xiao Zhan. The surprised gasp coming from other people just make her felt more energized.
Xiao Xhan looks at her smug face, surpassing the shame of losing a fan but amused with her. Her snarky comment always gets the best of her enemies.
But not on him, because he is not her enemy.
"So, you think dictatorship is the only way to run your company?" His eyebrow arched as he put his index finger on his lips. He stokes it while waiting for Xia Sha's answer.
"Uh-no, but it sure the best way to deal with a wishy-washy leader like you." She snapped once again. She sees Xiao Zhan open his mouth, appearing to say something. She stretched her arms and looked at her wrist.
"Oh, looks, it's three already! So much for deciding on one logos. I'm exhausted after hard carrying this project alone. Fu Qun, what is my next schedule?" She looks at Fu Qun with a triumphant smile.
"Meeting with Mr.Guan Xian from Guan Corporation in half-hour," Fu Qun notified with his regular voice, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. Especially Xiao Zhan, who sits near Xia Sha.
"Very well, at least it will be less boring than this meeting." She said before glancing at Xiao Zhan with a smirk as she walks away from the meeting room. Fu Qun quickly walks behind her.
Xiao Zhan could hear the sound of her heels fading, leaving him in this room with a bunch of useless people. Clenching his jaw, he said, "Meeting adjourned." before slamming the door open.

"Xia Sha! Wait!" Xiao Zhan's voice revibrates along the hallway full of employe. His long leg is moving fast to chase the girl wearing a red dress suit.
No doubt, she looks fantastic. Xiao Zhan wouldn't have any objection in telling her that, even when she had pissed him off. But Xiao just giving him the cold back as she walks faster. Giving him zero chances.
"Wait!" He said, slightly lowering his voice when he caught her wrist. Xia Sha is forced to turn around and look at him. Wearing her everyday disinterested face, she asked him harshly.
"What?!" Her voice gathered everybody's attention.
"Let's find a place to talk," He pleaded in a low voice, pointing his gaze at an empty office. Xia Sha furrowed her eyebrow, she frowned unhappily. Xiao Zhan narrowed his eyes and gesturing for her to go.
"You are meeting Guan Xian again? Xia Sha, you are better than this!" Xiao Zhan looks at her and tries to look composed but Xia Sha could see the poor expression he hides.
"Geez, thanks for the obvious but liking me give you no rights to show your jealousy at me." She said with a flat tone, looking slightly care-less about him.
Xiao Zhan shook his head slowly, giving her the 'you don't understand' looks she hates the most.
"It's not about jealousy, Xia Sha. You know you should never trust that guy. First of all, never once he had a decent girlfriend before. His reputation for being no good is top notched. Second of all, his our company competitor for God-sake!"
Xiao Zhan sounds very frustrated that Xia Sha felt bad for him. She takes one step close to him and patted his chest out of pity. "Well, at least he is not stealing my projects, instead he gives me one."
A smile rose after her fakes solemn face.
Xiao Zhan is stunned by her reaction. Xia Sha is like a black rose with loads of thorn. Beautiful but wanting her just hurting yourself. Xiao Zhan's lips were tightly pressed as he watched her walk away from him, again.
"It's about the project, isn't it? How hard it is to tell you that I come here to help you!" Xiao Zhan almost shouted when he said this. The anger in his voice surprised Xia Sha who turning her back to look at him now.
"Help me? Really? Taking credits for my hard work going to help me? Xiao Zhan, I've been working so hard on this project that it almost becomes my dream. I was so close, so close to this then you came and swoops everything away!" She glares at him with hatred.

"Stop! Stop spouting bullshit at me. How can you, being the leader of this project is going to help me? You never even go to the office before today!"
Xiao Zhan gritted his teeth and clenched his jaw. "So, it's because you look down on me."
"Me? look down on you, a man? How can I dare?," Xia Sha shrugs her shoulder angrily, taking another step closer to him with sharp piercing eyes. "Right because all of you look down on a woman and thought they could never seat on the CEO positions I got even more excited!"
