On the way to the 43rd-floor meeting room, Xia Sha catches a glimpse of Xia Qi Feng rushing out from her office towards her. 

"Xia Sha, wait, I need to talk to you." He stopped in front of Xia Sha. 

"Can I not? Because if you did not notice, I'm busy, you know saving this whole company after several years of stagnation." Xia Sha shows a fake smile at her dad. 

"I heard you have a meeting with Guan Xian today, Are you crazy?" Xia Qi Feng completely disregards her attitude, whisper angrily at her. 

"Geez dad, thank you. As if my therapist hasn't told me that." Xia Sha rolled her eyes. Xia Qi Feng takes a deep breath, trying hard to surpass the urge to scream at her face. 

"You know the internal battle between the Government and the big four aren't you? How could you invited one of them to our company, how can we explain to the government?" 

"Calm down old man." Xia Sha did not panic at all being yelled at. Instead, she pointed out the white strands on Xia Qi Feng's neat hair with an oblivious grin. 

"First of all, you are old." She picked up the white hair shoving it away to the ground. 

"Second of all, you are old." She shows the report on her hand in front of Xia Qi Feng's face. "Why let the government control and surpass you when you can climb higher than this?"

Xia Qi Feng's face is deadpan, he stares at Xia Sha with a serious look. "Xia Sha, don't play with fire. Do you think that four families will be on our side? Moreover, this is a country with the law! and the government is the law! and what did I heard about you go on date with Guan Xian? Is it true?" 

"Who tell you? Your mistress at home or your step daughter?" Xia Sha fireback and question and then pressed her lips. "Oh no, the question is why did you even care about me?" 

"Xia Sha, how can I tell you that-" 

"Come on Dad, don't act as if befriending Guan Xian is loss. It's clearly a gain for us."

Xia Sha did not get scared or intimidated at all, instead, her smiles got wider. She turns her back and chooses not to answer her father. But Xia Qi Feng catch the little smirk and murmured she said before she walks away. 

"And, Oh father, I am the fire."

Fu Qun gets Guan Xian, who comes with Tang Yu Bin. He escorted Guan Xian to the meeting room first since Xia Sha being held by Xiao Zhan at the moment. 

"Where is Ms. Xia?" Guan Xian did not waste any time to ask when he saw Xia Sha is not in the room. 

Although he looks more approachable than his other high profile friends, Fu Qun still felt intimidated by him. Fu Qun did not realize this until he hears his voice trembles. 

"Miss Xia will be here soon. Mr. Guan, please let me serve you something. Coffee or tea?" Fu Qun asked politely. 

Tang Yu Bin raised his hand this time, showing a faint smile as he said, "Thank you, Mr. Fu, but our president just finishes his cup of coffee before this." It's pretty clear that Tang Yu Bin wanted to draw professional lines between them. 

Guan Xian smiles and looks at Tang Yu Bin, "We will be meeting Fu Qun and Miss Xia often in the future. A coffee would be nice." He looks at Fu Qin. It was like a signal for Tang Yu Bin to treat Fu Qun as a friend. 

Tang Yu Bin looks confused and hesitating, but he is indeed a professional PA. With a split of second changes, he shows friendly smiles and adds Fu Qun to his Weixian friend list.

"Miss Xia can be very fierce sometimes, but she is the most business-savvy woman I've ever work with." Fu Qun did not realize he has been tricked by Guan Xian right now. 

"I'm sure of that, especially after the bad decisions the old Mr. Xia made." Guan Xian raised his cup and shook his head slightly.

Fu Qun said in a low voice, afraid to be heard by other people. 

Guan Xian raised his eyebrow with interest at Fu Qun. "She is in bad mood right now?" 

Fu Qun did not dare to answer his question but, it's doesn't matter. Guan Xian got his answer when Xia Sha flung open the meeting room. 

"I am. So I hope this meeting result could make up for it." The woman in the red suit caught Guan Xian's attention in no time. She is alluring like a burning flame. One amusing view that makes people dare only to watch from the sideline.

Guan Xian face lifted up when he saw the woman standing at the door. She steps confidently into the room and took a seat across from Guan Xian. Guan Xian's lips curled up slightly while maintaining his calm face.

Fu Qun's face is pale, but Xia Sha wastes no time sparing him an angry glare for revealing too much information about her. Instead, she calmly asked for a tea from him.

"Well, I hope both of us will be." Guan Xian said with a low voice. His eyes follow her every movement and expression. Guessing what treatment he will get from her after yesterday.

Xia Sha did not even look at him and open the stack of papers in front of her in a modest way. After finding the pages she wanted, she politely slides it to Guan Xian's side.

"This is our market planning for Xpods 2.0. I'm sure Mr. Guan could find out about Xpods first-generation revenue in these three months-" 

Guan Xian lowered his head and intend to let out a chuckle when she called him Mr.Guan. It's only several hours after their romantic first date and she starts calling him Mr.Guan again. Is this the game she wanted to play? 

Professional? sure he could play professionally. 

"You meant the profits and sale increase after joining Global Mart?" Guan Xian raised his eyebrow, did not bother to look at her proposal at all. 

Xia Sha pressed her lips and forced a smile. She lowered her ego and nodded her head. "Yes, the profits and sale increase our both company enjoys these three months. I believe Mr. Guan is interested in prolonging our cooperation, right? After all, it's a win-win solution for both of us."

Guan Xian leans his back to the leather chair and looks at her calmly. "Ms. Xia, based on what do you ask me for this privilege?" His dark brown eyes piercing her stoic face. A cryptic smile hangs on his handsome face.

Xia Sha looks like she is unfazed by his question, but the person inside the room can felt it just from the cold aura she emits on the air right now.

"Based on your promise to me last time, you said you will catch me if I fall, right? Mr. Guan, I'm sure you will not break your promise." Her sharp winged liner makes her eyes look sharper when she smiles. 

Guan Xian is taken back when he heard her answer. His head suddenly turn blanks before anger slowly burn his heart. 

Is his answer is too blurry or she is very dense? 

He was saying, He will catch her if she falls in love! Not catch her if she is fallen from her grace! Does she has falsely take his intention to pursue her into her benefactor? 

He is so angry that he laughed. Xia Sha remains calm even though she could feel his pique. He nodded his head slightly before pulling his hand in front of his chest. 

He opens his mouth only to close it again several times. Facing Xia Sha's calm and somewhat sly smile, he could not retaliate. "Getting you inside Global Mart is one thing. Making your product stay there need more than my order. So, Miss Xia, tell me what did you have on to offer?" 

"I waste two days to go on a date with you, it's not enough to satisfy you?" She raised her eyebrow. Guan Xian's eyes shifted into bleak and cold eyes that Xia Sha never saw before. 

Does she take their dates as a transaction? Guan Xian could not believe this! He thought their dates were based on feelings, not on business. 

Guan Xian, Tang Yu Bin, Fu Qun: "..." 

Guan Xian averted his gaze for the first time away from Xia Sha. She gives a signal for Tang Yu Bin to leave them alone in the room. Tang Yu Bin sees this and immediately drag Fu Qun out with him.

"You two don't have to leave! there is nothing confidential in this meeting. Both of us need a witness when we reached our goals." She did not even blink as her gaze carried away with Guan Xian's unfathomed eyes. 

Guan Xian draws his chair closer to the table and claps his hand in front of his mouth. "Are you being watched by someone? Blink twice if it's true." Guan Xian whispered. 

He looks confused and a little bit lost at her attitude right now. 

He thought their relationship has gotten better after the first date? Why is this porcupine aiming her quills at him again? 

Her alluring lips keep forming a wide smile. "Nothing happens. I've always been like this from the start. But if you notice something changed within me, it's my hatred for men. I just got sick and tired of being used by men." 

"Wow, that's is not fair, young lady. When did I ever use you before? In our case, it's the other way around." Guan Xian coldly answers. Guan Xian stares at her intently, creating a tense atmosphere that could make the big room felt stuffy. 

"Are you sure you never use me before? what about-"

"No, I never." He raised his hand to stop her from talking. There is no Mister good guy in the meeting room left. In front of Xia Sha, Guan Xian has peeled off his mask of kindness. 

"You wanted to play this game, didn't you? Very well." His cold voice makes a deep cut on Xia Sha's heart. 

Xia Sha, you could not give up halfway like this. Stand up for yourself! Don't let man took control over your life. Not again. Only when she repeated those words to her head, she gathered enough courage to answer him back. 

But before she could speak he has stood off and pointed at her. "The more you push me away, the more I will be plastering you!"
