Chapter 4: Ch.4- Born from madness

My consciousness awakens and I was born into a world of darkness. My eyes were closed tightly, but I was aware of every sound, every touch, every smell.

 The first thing I saw was darkness and then a beautiful bright light. The light was soothing and the darkness was terrifying. I felt an immense rush of emotions.

I was alive, I feel alive.

For some reason I was so happy that I failed to notice the enormous angelic presence in front of me. The figure of a terrifying yet majestic girl standing a few meters before me. A girl who seemed to be in her 20s with long white hair. She looked at me with a somewhat bored gaze.

 I can’t read her expression, but it feels like she's judging me, as if her light blue pupils traversed my being. Her presence is so powerful that it makes me feel like I'm nothing. I cannot help but frown.

I wanted to ask her where I am, why was I born, but I couldn't.

Then she took a step. For a moment I feel as my whole body trembles. Cold sweat runs down my forehead. The only thing I can think of is to die fighting to the end.

I was just born. I'm not going to let anyone take away the life I just got.

Contrary to my expectations, the girl does nothing in particular, she just stares at me expressionless.

What's even happening?

A kind of flying dark gray animal suddenly came.

The girl looked at it and the pressure that she was emanating dissipated , as if it was never there.

The atmosphere became more bearable, but nevertheless she was still scary.

I don't know how many minutes have passed, she just keeps looking straight at me...no...at us.

I just notice that there was someone by my side. A tall good-looking man with blonde hair and white and semi crystal eyes, he gives...dangerous...sexy vibes? Well. Right now he seems to be as scared as I am.

We keep looking at the girl with precaution, oblivious of our feelings she decides to...just turn around and leave.

"...What was that"

Now I find myself reflecting on my situation.

Who am I? Where am I? Who is he? Who was she? Why do I feel I just born? There is too many questions I hav-

"H-hey"

I turn my head to the source of the sound just to find a full-grown man looking like a kitten.

"D-do you perhaps know where we are?"

"...No"

He seems to be in the same situation as me, I shouldn't trust him though, after all he is a dark elf.

...Dark elf? Where does this knowledge come from, things like, for example dark elves and their prankster nature, it's knowledge that I don't know where it comes from.

Wait. I'm also an elf, aren't I... No, contrary to him my blood is pure and sacred... yeah I'm different. 

For the time being I need to ascertain my situation.

I'm going to start with exploring this place.

Tsk, What does he want

I proceed to leave the room and for some strange reason this...kitten follows me.

I hate living

I thought I was glad to be alive but 

I hate living

Right now I'm in the forest, under the shade of the mechanical tree.

I was chilling while I watched the scenery, but then I realize that I was sitting in shit, yeah shit. 

Why do animals even exist, they are supposed be microbes right now...you cannot simply skip natural selection, right?

 This type of shit takes millions of years!

Ugh!

Using magecraft I clean my clothes leaving them like new. I honestly want to burn them but I'm not at my ship so I don't have spare clothes.

By the way, I also want to come back and check on the elves. 

I mean, right now I'm "spying" on them using one of my drones, and they look pretty confused, I want to make sure they don't do anything stupid, like for example searching for the toilet, not finding it and then...

...I want to go back. But before that, I need to study what's wrong with this forest.

I start my research using the bionic glasses of my exoskeleton. 

I can see many electromagnetic waves coming from all directions, this is probably the cause of the accelerated growth of the forest.

But where do they come from? South, west, north...

From underground? Indeed, the waves do come from under me. 

After calling over one of my drones he arrives 

I command him to start digging a pot of my size, I could do it myself but I don't want to get dirty.

After some seconds he arrives to the cause of the rapid growth of the forest.

It's a nether stone.

A nether stone is a type of material. It's normally found in the cores of black holes. It's a good source of energie, when humans were still...a thing.

 These types of materials were everywhere.

Mmm... I will take it home, It's not much use to me though, after all I use a dark energy ship and not an electric one.

Well let's head back to home.

But before that. I command one of my drones to bring me the author of the shit in which I sat on before. 

Because I will burn it. Just like I burnt that horrible Shoggoth and that planet a few thousands of years before.

He then proceeds to go for about a minute and come back with...a little cute...beautiful...chubby, hamster-like, animal....
