It was a winter night.

The cold was so intense that it made me shiver, with each breath my vision turned into clouds, the snow was so thick that it felt like I was suffocating with every step.

I remember the day I killed my parents in a night like this one.

I was only sixteen years old. I remember the feeling of running through the snow and how the flakes would pile on my fluffy tail and ears. I remember how the snow would stick to my shoes and how I would feel like I was about to freeze to death with every step.

I remember the ecstasy that each beat of my heart caused me, and how a smile in my face appeared just after.

It was when I was sixteen that I reached freedom.

And I was finally allowed to be alive.

The day started off beautifully, the sun was shining and the birds were singing.

I woke up in my bedroom, a blizzard had come in overnight. It was so cold that my breath froze before I could even take a step outside. The snow had piled up so high that I couldn't see the ground.

I love winter, I love cold, I love the South Pole!

For a lot of reasons today, I'm feeling really alive, like very much!

First of all, this snowy landscape reminds me a lot of Pluto, where I was born, the only difference is that this one is exaggeratedly less cold.

Second of all, today is my birthday number 911.000, it's been 296 years since I got Chubby! After such a short time, he is already completely tamed. Ah! By the way, I just became the longest living human in history, surpassing my parents!

And the third and the most important. I feel like I'm close to dominate magecraft.

This alone is a feat worth celebrating, so I'm going to spend the whole day playing with Chubby on the snow!

I take Chubby out of his cage and take him outside without forgetting to put a protective suit on him.

I love my chubby, he is the best. I love to play with him, and he loves (hates) to play with me.

Chubby and I start playing on the snow.

I put him in a ball and roll him around. When he's not in the ball, he's running around (escaping) and I chase him for hours. It's a lot of fun! I love playing with Chubby and I know he likes it (hates it) too.

After 7 hours of playing, Chubby seem tired of running away and lies down in the snow, I do the same and we both stare at the sunset, the day seems to be over.

The beautiful starry sky gradually replaces the clear blue of the day, my breathing becomes more unstable as the last rays of the sun disappear.

Despite having lived for so long, I still remember clearly that beautiful moment in which freedom was granted to me.

The beautiful starry sky from 910.984 years ago.

I was sitting in my room, not really doing anything. I just thought about how much I used to hate living.

By that time there were about 1230 humans left, they all had more than 20,000 years.

My tail was coming from one side to another, it did not seem to be able to stay still, my ears twitched with every sound, blood ran from my claws and killing intent emanated from me in an uncontrollably way.

I used to be a "cat girl", a type of demi-human.

A race considered as human being in paper but in reality, just some bad joke.

Right now, I found myself trapped in a corner of the room, my "dad" body lying next to me on the ground, staring at me with dark dull eyes, with a somewhat feeling of happiness emanating from it.

Demi-humans are artificial created beings, an impossible natural existence created though alchemy.

The reason why we were looked down upon was simple, not because they didn't consider us humans, nor because thought we were inferior.

But because It amused them.

Their own cruelty amused them, and our despair made them smirk.

During those 16 years of life I suffered more pain than in all the remaining 910,984, the worst was that I couldn't go insane, they just keep healing not only my body but also my mind.

At that time humanity was in a state of decline, each decade someone seemed to suicide, my parents were not an exception.

The blood in my fingers were from no other person other than my "mother", she had commanded me to kill her in the most gruesome of ways. I burned her body, then disemboweled her and gouged out each of her eyeballs in the process.

The whole time, my "dad" Just keep staring at me with a light smile, then he approached me a told me to do the same thing to him, but I couldn't even move my body from the sheer amount of excitement that I felt.

Despite having lived for so long, he didn't seem to want to wait until I recovered and instead took a special knife made to kill immortals and did it himself, as I watched in daze.

The people who tormented me for all my life suddenly die, just like that.

My thoughts stopped, and I just started running.

I left the base without any type of protection and looked at the starry sky.

My lungs felt like they were going to explode, the blood was fighting to get out of my body, the pressure was killing me, the cold was so intense that it made me shiver. With each breath, my vision turned into clouds, the snow was so thick that it felt like I was suffocating with every step.

However, I could only focus on the beautiful stars that shone in the sky.

Since that day, I was free.

That was the happiest moment of my life.

"Hey Chubby"

"...."

"Do you want to go back home?"

"...."

"Let's go back to the forest, I want to see how the elves are doing by myself"

"...."

"Yeah, I already know that the mood it's going to become awkward.... That's why I'm going to go in disguise!"

"...."

It's been 911,000 years, contrary to what I expected I'm not like my "parents" were.

Not only that, but I fell...more alive than ever.

I'm happy to be free.
