On the shattered Mountain top, Frank was quite excited as he poured his Mental Energy into it, hoping to see the figure of the golden-haired angel once again. However, as if it was an ocean, all his Mental Energy dank into the pearl with no response whatsoever.

"Maybe it doesn't allow foreign entry?"

"Who knows? But I am not in there anyway?"

Exasperated Frank replied, "Then where are you?"

"Take a guess." Ignoring the mischievous tone, he thought back to her words previously. He gasped as he thought of something and he proceeded to enter his Mindscape. What he saw was quite shocking!

The sky was dark and filled with cracks that made it seem as if it was bleeding. In these cracks, he saw the darkness of the void that he had just crossed. However, flashes of lightning flashed from it from time to time. The ground was dry and full of cracks and lines that snaked everywhere.

There were two islands separated by a thin invisible wall with an almost dried-up sea surrounding both of them. On the one on the left stood a Tower that seemed as if it were the sky. It had three windows, each one higher than the other.  The other Island had a mansion instead and also has 3 levels. Frank did not focus on his almost destroyed Mindscape but was instead looking at the angel who was floating in front of him with shock. Apart from her form being somewhat blurry, she looked exactly as she was when alive. However, the rotating ring on her head told him she wasn't exactly as calm as she seemed.

"Shouldn't you be in the Soul Restoration Orb instead?"

"I think I was going in it but it looks like you devoured me as well."

"How is that possible?" Frank inquires. He hadn't heard of any Devil devouring the soul of their victims as well.

Shrugging Vivian says " Who knows? Anyways, I am here and we need to make the best of it. That's all that matters." Agreeing with her, Frank asks.

"So what can you do?"

"I haven't tried anything yet, I was waiting for your recovery. Plus it feels like I need to adapt to the Runes here."

Nodding, Frank was not surprised at her statement. When cultivators went to other Planes, there was an adjustment period before they were able to utilize their skills.

"How long would it take?"

"From my calculations, about a month. However, I can shorten it to a few hours." She answered as she clutched her fingers as if holding a pen as she prepared to cast a spell. She froze for a few seconds then smiled stupidly.

"Oops, I don't have my brush with me. Anyways"

"Innate skill - Rune Carving." Using her index finger as the brush she began to draw a golden Rune. The appearance of this Rune caused a gust of wind to blow as soon as it appeared. The Rune then stuck onto her forehead and entered her floating transparent glowing body. She then sat crossed legged midair as she closed her eyes.

"I am going to find a safe place in the meantime."

Outside, Frank looked around to make sure he had left nothing behind. Only a few seconds had passed so he had no concerns about his and the items' safety. Choosing a direction, he headed down the mountain to look for a cave. However, the 'Elemental Essence' was lacking plus he hadn't adjusted to the Plane yet so moving was very uncomfortable for him. His steps created deep footprints on the ground as he moved, destroying all the plants in his path. He didn't have time to admire the scenery around him as he quickly found a cave to rest in.  Sitting crossed-legged in the cave, he closed his eyes and rested for a while. A shiny red crystal appeared in his hands later on. When it appeared, the 'Elemental Essence' in the cave heated up as if it were boiling.

"Much better." Nodding his head in satisfaction, Frank began cultivating after an 8-year break.  In his Mindscape, pure crystal and colorless water began filling the dried-up sea near the red Palace!

Meanwhile, Vivian had been feeling wonderful since the adjustment process began. It was as if she belonged in here and she was back home. Plenty of new information about the Runes was being imprinted into her brain! As the process continued, her blurry figure became clearer and clearer. Colorless  Runes began spiraling around her as they slowly changed into a golden hue. However, some Runes remained in their colorless state no matter how much time passed. Others already had different colors as well. Most of them were pitch black like the 'Void' in which they traveled in, while a few were quickly turning Red as if they were dyed in blood. Ten minutes later, she was now having a solid body and it was as if there was a golden sun in the dark space. Peace and calm ruled the area again.

Seeing that the process was done, Frank's projection flew up to her. Looking at her glowing figure he had so many questions to ask her. Before he could ask she responded!

"I don't know what's going on as well. However, we need to solve an important matter." As soon as she finished speaking, new information flooded Frank's brain. Understanding what was going on, both of them looked at the slowly disintegrating invisible wall between the Islands with serious expressions.

"Repairing that won't be easy at all.' Vivian said with a rare hint of gravity in her voice. As they prepared to begin drawing Runes to fix it, Frank heard a familiar aged voice in his mind.

" Young Master, only through Destruction can a building become stronger!"

With a helpless expression, Frank turned to Vivian.

"Leave it!" Shocked she replied.

"We don't know what would happen to you if the two seas merge. This has never happened to anyone before!"

"I trust Uncle Blood, he would never harm me. Let's leave it." Frank said with finality in his voice. Looking at his expression, Vivian turned to the crumbling wall.

"Fortunately, both of them were filled with your Mental Energy, so it should be possible to be merged even though they have differing attributes."

Closing his eyes, Frank said softly, "What will come will come!" Nothing else was said as they both began to wait while floating!
