Extra: A Gal JK’s Morning.
One morning. Shoichi was woken up by Amiru as usual, got dressed and went down to the living room.
Amiru, who had already finished preparing breakfast, said with a smiling face,
“Good morning, Sho-chan.”
“Yeah, good morning.”
Shoichi nodded and sat down in his chair to start on his toast–Today’s menu was Western style.
At that moment, Amiru lightly slapped his hand. “No, Sho-chan. You have to wash your face first.”
“Ehh, it’s fine, isn’t it? Such a pain in the a*s.”
“No. You look sleepy with drowsy eyes, so you had better wake up properly. Otherwise, you won’t be able to taste your breakfast.”
Amiru, who prided herself on being Shoichi’s substitute mother, stubbornly refused to give in at times like this. So Shoichi reluctantly got up and went to the washroom to wash his face.
Once again, he looked at Amiru as he put his hands on his breakfast.

“But you’re always in high spirits so early in the morning. I always thought girls were weak in the morning.”
“I don’t think that’s true~. I mean, I’m used to getting up early, you know? I’m up at least at six o’ clock.”
“That early…? Eh, but you cook breakfast and eat together with me here?”
It was now seven o’clock. Even taking into account that it would take 15 minutes to get here from Amiru’s house, he calculated that she spent 45 minutes getting ready for school. What in the world was she doing with that time?
Then, Amiru answered, lifting her finger, “I need to change my clothes and do my makeup. I need to put in contacts, lotion, foundation, blush, fake eyelashes, lipstick… I need at least that much time.”
“Oh… I don’t understand even if you told me. Anyhow, I do know that it’s not easy for you to get ready in the morning.”
Although he thought it wasn’t very reasonable, Shoichi was a little impressed by this woman who was willing to put in that much effort.
Then, Amiru smiled with her cheekbones, tilting her head slightly. “That’s right, the cute little Amiru-chan in front of Sho-chan is the fruit of all that effort!”
“…You must still be sleeping, I can hear your sleep-talking.”
“Boo, Sho-chan, you meanie.”
When Amiru smiled at him, Shoichi thought he would keep quiet for the rest of his life about the fact that her earlier smile was actually quite charming and really made his heart flutter.
