Chapter 21: Chapter 18

We are suddenly thrown out of our blissful sleep when the door of my room is opened. My father enters the room with a smile on his face, greeting us, "Good morning, boys."

"Good morning Mr. Moon," stutters an embarrassed Peter, surprised to be seen while cuddling with me under my sheets.

Still focused on the blissful sensation of hugging my beloved, I murmur a simple "...' morning," before coming to my senses, Turing to my father and ask. "Why are you here!?"

"The convention ended a day early, so we took a plane last night, and now we are here." He answers, still smiling at us, taking pleasure in Peter's embarrassment.

"You could have called and informed me," I reply while letting Peter out of my grasp.

"And lose the possibility of catching you two in a compromising situation." He replies with an implying smirk.

"Dad..." I groan at his words while Peter's face reaches the same color of a ripe tomato.

"What? You two are sleeping together. As a parent, I must worry that something may happen." He replies with a teasing tone.

"Dad!" I shout, surprised he would be so direct.

"Sorry, sorry... And well, I have seen that you haven't changed your sheets, so I am quite sure you haven't done it... At least here..." He says before running away, evading the pillow that I had thrown at him.

"Shut up, Dad! You are embarrassing Peter!" I shout before moving to the door and closing it.

Turning to my boyfriend, I found him trying to sink and hide in the bed.

"Sorry, Pete, they shouldn't have been at home this morning..." I say, sitting next to him.

"That's not your fault..." He replies while leaving the bed.

"Sorry, I know that you are still a bit uncomfortable with all of this situation..." I say, unsure if he was ready to tell our family about our relationship.

"Don't worry, if not today, it would have happened in the next couple of days... Now that we're dating, it was just a question of when to tell them..." Peter replies with a tired smile while taking my hand.

Hearing his words, I say, "That ship seems to have sailed now."

"Indeed..." Peter mumbles, uncomfortable of having been thrown out of his comfort zone.

"Now we only need to tell your aunt about it..." I add to his annoyance.

"Do we really need to?" Asks Peter while groaning.

"If we don't, that tattler of my father will, and that will be worse," I answer with a smirk plastered on my face.

"That's true..." Peter replies while sighing, before continuing, "it seems like we are going to officialize things earlier than we thought..."

"Well, I can't say that I am not happy about it. Now we will be able to do things like these in front of them." I say before kissing him.

I watch his pupils dilate as our tongues met and start moving.

A couple of seconds later, having tasted each other long enough, we separate, leaving only a thin thread of saliva to connect us.

"Are you sure you want them to see things like these?" Peter asks with a different kind of blush.

"Maybe you are right. This kind of expression should only be visible to me..." I reply while throwing him on the bed.

As I pin him down, I start kissing him again, excited by the view.

"Sig... Stop... Your parents are out there... They could enter at any moment..." Peter says, speaking during the little pauses between our kisses.

"Do you want me to lock the door?" I ask, stopping for a moment before starting to make out again.

I keep nibbling his lips and suckling his tongue until he starts pushing me, freeing his mouth.

"...I would like it... But we need to speak with them and May... So let's stop here." He answers while panting, stopping our making-out session and causing a pout to appear on my face.

"Ok... But we will continue our discussion later..." I reply, nibbling his earlobe before raising from the bed.

"I'll love to," Peter says, still splayed on the bed, disheveled by our activities.

It took us several minutes to calm ourselves and prepare to speak with my parents. When we left my bedroom and entered the kitchen, we found my parents waiting for us, with a smirk plastered on their faces.

"Are you done making out?" My father asks with a teasing tone, making Peter blush in embarrassment.

"What if we didn't?" I ask back, more used to his antics.

"We were waiting for you to have breakfast, but at this rate, it would be a brunch." My father replies, trying to guilt-trip us.

While his words don't impact me at all, I can see the blush on Peter's face deepening, as he is unused to this kind of teasing.

"Stop be melodramatic, dad," I say while rolling my eyes, fully knowing that he is bullshitting us.

"You should be more like Peter. See, he is embarrassed," he replies, unsatisfied by my reactions.

Annoyed by the effect of his words on Peter, I take my lover's hand and say to my father, "Stop teasing my boyfriend."

"Well, well, well... So you two finally came out of the closet and admitted it." He replies with a smile on his face, satisfied with my outburst.

At the same time, my mother enters the discussion for the first time, shutting me down with a dirty look. "Sigfrid Tajiri Moon, you find yourself a boyfriend and don't tell us anything."

Seeing my difficulty in replying to my mom, Peter decides to answer, "We were searching for the right moment to tell you..."

Turning to my boyfriend, she gives him a dirty look too, before replying, "Well, you have all the time May needs to come here to think on your explanation."

"May is coming here?!" Peter shouts at the reveal, more scared now than when he was fighting the Avengers.

"Obviously, she needs to know as much as we do." She replies, shutting the entire conversation down.

Silence envelopes the kitchen, creating an eerie atmosphere that prevents any conversation.

Only two minutes later, the spell breaks. When the doorbell rings, I can feel Peter's hand tighten around mine as tension takes over his body.

I am so focused on Peter that I don't notice my father leaving the kitchen and greeting May, regaining my clarity only to hear her word.
"What the Fuck is happening here?!"
