Not knowing about the chaos a certain message had created in the universe, Adrian chose forest as the theme for his floor. Desert just sounded really sandy… Adrian just liked to have plants around to be honest and there were basically no plants for the first floor desert.
Then he tried to create a room, but failed because he had to build the corridor first. Adrian wasn’t sure if he could change things later one, but just to be sure he would try to curve the corridor to make sure one wasn’t able to attack his core directly.
He thought about creating a floor and his vision zoomed out until it was like he looked at a map of the surroundings. Knowledge of what he had to do now filled into his memory. With his thoughts he could create a plan of his floor, that would then be built using his mana after he changed his vision back. Using this he would also be able to change already built things, but it was really expensive and he didn’t have the mana regeneration to do that in 7 days.
Adrian envisioned a corridor that was about 20m long and curved to the right. A blue highlighted area appeared in his vision showing what he wanted and that it was possible. At the end of the corridor he created a room, using all of the possible space he could. It was a bit longer than wide and had the same height as his core room. The room would have no edges as you likely wouldn’t see them anyway because of the underbush.
Adrian returned to his normal vision and watched as the stone got slowly eaten away. Whatever happened to the stone Adrian had no idea. If he had a mana sense he would know that he himself was using banish spells to build the area he had planned. The system had created a mana AI though, so Adrian didn’t have to know what to do and it was less possible for him to accidentally break any rules. For now the needed stats for the AI were provided by one of the ruling entities, but that would change the moment Adrian hit level 1.
A mana AI was something like a magical artificial intelligence that managed things for people. As the AI used the stats of a person it was more like said person doing something subconsciously.
It took about a day for the area to finish building and Adrian realized that he didn’t have as much time as he first believed. So not wanting to die more or less again he continued his planning. He put another corridor on the other side of his new room that had the form of an S. Then he used a variation of the first room for the new one.
To get to this room one had to walk through a straight corridor with a somewhat smaller cubic room at the other end. Adrian added a left curve with another cubic room in front of the other.
He connected the last room with a straight corridor again. It was more his first room really, as it would be connected to his entrance. This room was really long and formed like a V.
He added his tear gas trap in the S corridor. While it was unlikely for monsters to leave their room, they could do so if they heard any intruders. They couldn’t leave their floor though and would always respawn in the same room should they die.
Luckily, as long as there wasn’t a kill quest for him nobody would enter a floor that didn’t have all their monsters respawned. How fast they did this depended on Adrians mana regeneration, so it would likely be slow in the beginning. You couldn’t block a floor though. Doing so would either teleport you to the dungeon entrance without any loot or if the dungeon was larger you would likely find yourself on a floor you had no chance of leaving alive.
Adrian settled down and watched his first floor grow. After a while he got in some kind of trance and didn’t notice the passing of time.

Meanwhile outside in the universe people had started searching for the announced dungeons. Because of the intent pollution most people of the universe lived somewhere in the endless dungeon, but with the appearance of other dungeons that mide change, especially because it was unlikely for them to appear in the endless dungeon. There was no intent pollution there.
After 5 days they still hadn’t found anything though, so the excitement settled down a bit. As it was a message containing all of the ruling entities though people thought it would likely just take a bit. Thus regular patrols were established and on the sixth day the first dungeon appeared, followed by many more in the next few days.

Adrian watched as his last room finished growing.

Adrian was shocked. Normally a being would start with a mana pool of 10 and a regeneration of 0,1/min. He had expected it to be more, but not ten times more. It would make his growth speed a lot faster than that of the other species. Though thinking about it a bit more, Adrian realized that his species needed to have such high mana stats, or they were unlikely to properly work in the beginning.
He opened his dungeon menu after thinking for a bit, as his thoughts would alway drift to his monsters.

Ratling
These terrible little things are smarter and more aggressive than normal rats. They will multiply like cockroaches given the chance.
Black Owl
These owls are somewhat stronger than owls you would find in nature. They’re especially strong at night.
While the black owl would likely look a lot better than the ratlings, they wouldn’t be effective on his first floor. There was just not enough space for them to fly in, so Adrian chose the ratlings.
He wanted to make his floor more difficult the nearer you got to his core, so he chose to spawn one ratling each in the first two rooms, then two in his third room and three each in his last two rooms. Adrian mentally took a step back and watched as they spawned.
