At the time we heard about the King's death from Reimi, Shera stopped changing her clothes and immediately ran to her father's room, Reimi also ran with her. I did not surprise by this news, I thought my father-in-law would die sooner or later but I did not expect to see him die so soon, now I will have to take care of his daughter and his son.

Hoster would become the new King soon, I would have to make a meeting with my subordinates to discuss the uprising plan and also think about the way to use my girls to achieve the throne.

Maybe I should stop thinking about the throne, I should not be too rushed for it, if I do anything to achieve even using cunning ways then I would be the asshole. I would use my lovers but in certain ways, I would not use them without thinking about their feelings.

I would think wise before using my lovers, I love them so I would use them as my puppets but would take care of them well.

Shera and Reimi were so rushed that they left me here, I would run to keep up with them, I immediately ran out of Shera's room and then ran to the King's room, maybe Shera and Reimi would gather there.

When I left the room to go outside, many Warsaw guards were forming lines in Royal's hallway to stop the servants and the maids from moving inside. The King's room was near the Princess's room so I ran there and then opened the door to go in, when I walked in, there was Shera, Reimi, Hoster, me and the other guards.

The bed has a bit of blood but the floor has much blood, some Warsaw guards were surrounding the bed and the floor as if they were gathering intel about the King's death, to find his cause of death.

But I didn't see the King's corpse, where was his body right now?

"Where is my father? I want to see him, let me see him!" - Shera and Hoster yelled to the guards, there was a man who looked to be the leader of the guards heard their shouts so he stood in front of them

"I'm very sorry, you two Highness, His Majesty's corpse has been placed in his coffin, the King's funeral would be started at 8th bell today."

"Your Highness, please prepare, you would be bestowed to be the new Monarch after your father's funeral." - The guard said to us

"No way! No way!" - Shera screamed and then cried, she immediately pressed her face to my chest to cry, Reimi patted Shera to comfort her, I hugged Shera to comfort her too, poor my wife

Hoster didn't cry but he rushed to the wall nearby and smashed it non-stop, his General - Dunkel was joining the guards to examine the clues around the floor and the bed, he seemed very sad.

"Your Highness, are you al-, ahh!" - Sherry suddenly got here and was then shocked when Hoster pressed his face to her chest and started crying

"Your Highness, don't worry, I'm here with you, please don't be sad, don't cry." - Hoster kept crying and Sherry patted his head to comfort him

I think this time would not be a good time to show these people the letters but I would give Hoster two letters that Mentor Lerer wrote to give him and his father.

The King has died and Hoster would be the new Monarch to replace his father so I would hand him the letters. I immediately pulled out two letters and stepped toward Hoster, maybe I would hand the letters to Sherry and she would hand them over to Hoster, hoping she would not read them.

"Ms. Sherry, please keep these letters, let the Prince read them when he has stopped crying." - I handed Sherry the letters

"What are these, tutor John?" - Sherry asked me in curious

"The important things that only the new Monarch can be allowed to read, please let Prince read it when he stops crying."

"Understood, tutor John! I would go now, I will surely give these things to the Prince." - Sherry bowed toward me and then walked outside while patting Hoster

Shera was still crying so I patted her, Reimi was now standing to stay guard, the leader of the Warsaw guards was standing to wait for his guards to collect the clues.

"Commander, are you here?" - Sarah and Hatano have finally come in, maybe I should call my subordinates to stay guard outside

"Do the guard outside, Sarah, Hatano."

"Roger that." - Sarah made a fast military salute toward me and then walked with Hatano outside to do the guard

"Sir, we may have found the cause of His Majesty's death." - A guard said to the leader

"Speak." - The leader of the guard ordered him to tell the info

"His Majesty before dying has been agitated for some reason, he may have tried to get out of the room so that was why there was blood on the bed and the floor when he crawled by all of his strength outside."

"The ingredients of the wine His Majesty drank have many unhealthy potentials for his heart, his mad agitation has caused his heart attack many times so he spurted out too much blood and died."

So the King died for the reason to get out of his room, who got inside his room last night? Who were the guards that guard him last night?

"Who guard His Majesty last night, guard?" - I asked the guard that was telling his leader the cause of the King's death

"Those guards have gone missing mysteriously, Sir! We do not know where they go." - So someone got in the King's room yesterday and agitated him, he died because of that, I think!

"When did His Majesty die?"

"According to the dry of his blood that stuck on the bed and the floor, we concluded His Majesty may have died before the 11th dark bell." - So he died before 11:00 PM, we were sleeping at that time

"Guard, answer me! Did anyone guard inside His Majesty's room last night or not?" - Reimi suddenly asked the guard

"No, lady! The healers said His Majesty needed the silence so no one guarded inside his room last night."

"What should we do now, Sir Rigen?"

"Do the guard for me, Reimi! I will deal with it." - I said to Reimi so she nodded and then stood guard

"The last person who went to visit His Majesty last night?" - I asked the guard again

"The healers, Sir! We did not see anyone head to His Majesty's room last night." - So I did not know truly who caused my father-in-law's death

That may be the Prime Minister was the one who caused this and he has made up these clown guards to investigate the King's death, that would be the reason why they did not know anything.

"John, please get back...in my room..." - Shera said to me while tearing, maybe I would go with her back to her room and then comfort her again

"Let's go back to Princess's room, Reimi."

"Yes, Sir Rigen." - The three of us later walked outside

"Sarah, Hatano, follow me and stay guard outside Princess's room."

"Understood, Commander." - Sarah and Hatano kept up with us

I went back to Shera's room and then told Reimi and my subordinates to stay guard outside, I immediately sat on the bed with Shera and then comforted her

Hoster's perspective

Both of us walked back to our room, I was so sad about my father's death, he suddenly died like that, he must be harmed by someone, I would revenge for his death. But the thing I hated the most from this time was becoming my dad's successor, I did not know to do anything yet and now I was about to become the new King.

What should I do now? I hope Sherry would willing to become my advisor when I become the King, I would need her to help me to rule, maybe I should not be too sad, I must be brave to stand against this tragic day.

I noticed that two maids have gone to my room for some reason, they brought in their hands the black clothes, which were used on funeral days, maybe they got here this time to change my clothes.

"I will go now until you have done changing your clothes, Your Highness." - Sherry stood up and then was about to go but she later stopped as if she has remembered something

"Here, Your Highness! Tutor John gave me these letters, he said these things are very important and you are the only one who can read them." - Sherry gave me two enveloped that seemed to be old, their color was even changed into yellow as if these things have been stored for so long

I took the letters and then covered them by using my pillow, Rigen, the man who made me these pain but I would not mess with him again, that man was dangerous and I would make my little sister pleased.

My dumb little sister was in love with Rigen so I would let her do that, we made up our promise when we were kids that I would congratulate my sister when she married the man she loved, I would keep that promise.

Sherry after handing me the letter's, she went outside, the maids were still holding the black clothes and kept lowering their heads to wait for my order for commanding them to change my clothes.

"Change my clothes, maids." - I ordered the maids and then stood up and let them change my clothes

"Understood, Your Highness." - The maids slowly walked toward me and then took off my clothes and changed for me the black funeral clothes

According to Warsaw's laws, when the King dies, his funeral must be held after a day when everyone has fully prepared for the funeral. My father died maybe the last night but his funeral would be held today within hours later, what a strange to me, someone must have tried to hide something about my father's death.

We did not allow to see our father's corpse, when the King dies then the Prime Minister would have the most power before handing it to the next King.

Did Prime Minister Alt Toten was the one involved in my father's death?

As I could remember from Sherry's lesson, that man caused many disadvantageous things for my homeland, he made my grandfather like a puppet King and told him to give many of our Warsaw's lands to the enemy, even humbled before them.

Prime Minister has something suspicious, I must investigate more about him when I become the King, if that man caused my father's death then I must kill him to revenge for my father.

"These lowly maids will go now, Your Highness." - After changing my clothes, the maids bowed toward me and then silently went outside with my previous clothes in their hands

After the maids have gone outside, Sherry walked inside again and then bowed toward me and she walked in.

Sherry didn't sit on a chair or sit with me, maybe she has realized the distance between her and me was now farther when I was about to become her ruler.

"Sit with me, Sherry."

"I'm very sorry, Your Majesty! This lowly tutor does not have the qualification to sit with you." - Sherry said that to me and then stood near me, maybe I should not force her to sit with me, I didn't want her to hate me

I remembered the previous letters so I lifted my pillow to take these old letters, I looked closely at the envelopes and noticed two of them, one has my name and one has my father's name, someone has written this for us.

I immediately opened the envelope that wrote for me and saw an old paper inside it so I took the paper, those were words written inside it so I focused to look at the details of the letter.

My dear nephew, how are you right now? Do you remember me? It's me, your father's brother, your uncle, Lerer Sonne.

My nephew, I know you may very much hate me right now because of your mother's death, she died while protecting your father in the coup but please listen. I'm not the perpetrator of the coup, my nephew, that was Prime Minister Alt Toten, who caused it.

I did not have proof to accuse him but I and my Warsaw guards made an assault on the rebel's stronghold once and I saw their leader when he was running away, his face was so similar to the Prime Minister so I thought he was the perpetrator.

Before I could tell your brother, my nephew. The Prime Minister accused me so I have been given a death sentence because of that so I escaped but now I could not return anymore, I was being hunted by my brother.

If you can read this letter then please do your best to accuse the Prime Minister, we could not accuse him without proof so if you can read this, then tell your father to let him deal with it.

Anyway, I hope you are living well with your little sister and your father, my nephew. Today is my niece's birthday but I could not return to attend and to give her presents, I'm very sorry.

I'm so glad to know the coup has ended, my brother is surely better than me to be the King, I have no regrets about counting on him, hope the great future would come to our Warsaw homeland.

This letter was written by my uncle, the man that I always hated? I have misunderstood him, so he was blamed by the Prime Minister, so Alt Toten was truly the one who caused the coup, what a cunning snake.

After I have done reading both of the letters, I held tight those precious letters in my hand, I would not forget what you have guided me, my uncle.

"Uncle, my father, though the time I can live with both of you is very short but I would not forget, to have the loves of my father and my uncle as the precious things in my life."

"I will make sure to bring justice to our Warsaw soon when I become the new Monarch, I would make sure to take care of my relatives well, please you two rest in peace."

"Your Majesty, what did the weird things you just say?" - Shery was a bit confused when I said those words when I have done reading the letters

"Sherry, store these letters in my drawer, remember to store them well, only I can touch them." - I ordered Sherry and then handed her the letters which have been stored in the envelopes

"Understood, Your Majesty." - Sherry slowly took the letters and stored them inside the lowest drawer of my study table, I would store them safe

I stood up and noticed that only me and Sherry inside this room, it gave me a bit of feeling as if I wanted to confess to her right now, she did not love anyone yet and I loved her, should I confess to her now?

"Your Highness, please go outside quick, everyone has fully prepared the carriages to lead you and the others to Snava Church, we would make the funeral for His Majesty there." - Dunkel walked inside and said to us

Snava Church, the rest house of the Warsaw Kings, which was located at Spera, the farthest northern region of Warsaw Kingdom that was away from the Snow border that led to Demon continent about only 2 miles.

All of the King's officials and his relatives would make the funeral by coming inside the Church to mourn the King and the previous rulers and then go outside.

The heir would come inside with the Prime Minister or the previous King's advisor to mourn the King after the people have go in, both of them would tell their thoughts to the passed away rulers and then announce them for the rise of the new King.

"I will go now, wait for a second." - I walked slowly to Dunkel

"Lead me the way, Dunkel."

"Yes, Your Highness." - Dunkel led me the way

"Sherry, follow me too if you like."

"Yes, Your Majesty." - Sherry made a bow and then followed me

The three of us walked outside of our room and then walked away from each hallway to go outside of the Palace's door to get outside, I would be carried by the carriage to go alongside my relatives to the Church to make my father's funeral.

When I was walking around the hallways, many maids and Warsaw guards saw us so all of them kneeled on the floor as if to greet their new Monarch though I did not go into the throne yet.

I walked through the hallways to the Palace's door, when the three of us went near the door, I saw my little sister, Reimi, Rigen and his subordinates standing at the door as if to wait for me.

All of them have dressed in black funeral clothes, the men wore black funeral coats and the women would wear black funeral dresses. Sherry was walking with me but she later got to her room, maybe she was about to change her clothes into the funeral clothes too.

"My brother, let's go outside, father is waiting for us." - My little sister said to me when she was holding Rigen's hand, she has stopped crying though her face was still sad

My little sister and her people went outside of the Palace, I was about to go but I taped Dunkel to tell him to stop to wait for Sherry. After a few minutes of waiting, Sherry finally came outside with her funeral black dress, she bowed toward me very deep for some strange reason.

"I'm very sorry for my late, I hope you will forgive me, Your Majesty." - So that was why Sherry bowed toward me

"Stop bowing, I want you to follow me to my father's funeral."

"Understood, Your Majesty." - Sherry stopped bowing and then walked with me outside of the Palace to join my father's funeral

When we got outside of the Palace, I saw many people, seemed to be the nobles and also the people who dressed poorly like the commoners were trying to get close to my father's coffin. Most of the people were crying about my father's death, some wanted to get close to his coffin, some bowed their heads toward the coffin and some kneeled on the ground to pay their respect.

My father must have been loved very much by his people when he was their King, I hope I would be as good as my father or even better than him when I become their ruler, I would be the great King to make my father proud.

"At least these people are crying real tears, they show their true respects for the King, not like the people that ruled by Kim's clan of some country named North Korea." - Rigen while going with my little sister, he said something strange

My father's coffin was so big and dyed in gold, the Warsaw guards were lifting it and were waiting for us to join the funeral to lift it go to the Church.

I saw that my little sister and her people have got inside the other red carriages to join the funeral, I would go inside a carriage too, I should do it quickly.

"Your Highness, please get inside quickly, we will join His Majesty's funeral." - Prime Minister Alt Toten was standing near a carriage and told me to go in, he was also dressed the black funeral clothes

When seeing me walking toward the carriage, Minister Alt immediately opened the door and I walked inside and sat alongside Sherry, Dunkel and the Prime Minister. I could see the King's coffin from the window inside the carriage, my father was about to be lifted alongside the other red carriages to his rest place.

"Immediately start the funeral, to Snava!" - The Royal Guards shouted to the other guards outside to tell them to start the funeral

The red carriages slowly rolled their wheels with my father's coffin to head to Snava Church to place his coffin alongside our ancestors. On the way we went through, I looked out of the windows and saw many people, commoners with the nobles kneeling on the ground and crying about my father's death.

At the King's funeral, people would have to stay starved, would have to defecate and urinate before joining the funeral even the nobles, commoners and even the Royal people have to do this rule.

The carriages rolled their wheels with my father's coffin forward the road to head to the Church to place him back in the King's rest place.

The way to go to the Church took us about two hours, all of the people were now mourning my father's death inside the church. Only me and the Prime Minister stood outside with the Warsaw guards to wait for our turn to go inside.

After a few minutes of waiting, everyone has finally come outside, the officials and the lords were now crying about my father's death. Even the rulers from the elven Kingdoms and the rulers from the Jager Kingdom also paid their respects by coming to join my father's funeral.

My little sister cried after going out of the Church, Rigen comforted her by letting her cry in his chest. I did not like that strange man but for my little sister's wish, I would not harm him, I would welcome him though I did not want to.

"Let's go inside, Your Highness." - Prime Minister Alt told me to go inside with him so I also went with him inside the Church

When we got inside the Church, the space around us was a very wide room for praying, the previous Kings' coffins were placed next to each other, even my father's coffin, my father has finally joined our ancestors in his rest place.

Both of us walked close to the coffins and stopped, both of us raised our heads toward the big stone statue in front of the Church and then bowed toward it. That was the statue of Goddess Katia, the Goddess that we were worshipping, she was standing while raising her right kind hand to the ground to create this world.

After bowing at the Goddess's statue, we looked at the Kings' coffins and then bowed toward them for a few seconds and then stopped bowing and raised our heads.

"Your Highness, do you have anything to say to the previous Monarchs?" - Prime Minister asked me because he was about to say his thoughts to the previous Kings

"No, I want to hear you, Prime Minister."

"Understood, Your Highness." - Minister Alt bowed his head toward the coffins, he kept his bow to open his speech

"The Prime Minister greets my previous Monarchs, today is a bad day when another King has passed away and rested with you Monarchs."

"According to our Warsaw laws, forming the new King after the previous King's death less than a day is a prohibited thing."

"But a country cannot be stabled even a day without its ruler, please you previous Monarchs forgive me for my rush action."

"I, Alt Toten, the Prime Minister of the Warsaw swears will serve the new King well, I will serve him to my last breath, please you previous Monarchs rest in peace." - The Prime Minister has done his speech, what a cunning snake, I would kill you for revenge for what you have done for my father and my homeland

Hoster Sonne greets my father, though the time you could live with me is so short but I love you, father!

I swear I would become a good Monarch, would be as great as you or even better than you, father!

I know Prime Minister Alt is the one who harms you, I would revenge for you, father, I would do my best to be the good Monarch, please rest in peace.

Both of us later bowed again to goodbye to the King and then bowed again to the Goddess statue, we later walked outside of the Church.

The church now only had two carriages left, the other carriages have returned to the Palace to let the people change their clothes to make the ceremony of forming the new Monarch.

I immediately got to a carriage, the Prime Minister would go to the other carriage to return to the Palace sooner, around me were hundreds of Warsaw Royal Guards to escort me back to the Palace.

It took me more than 1 hour to return to the Palace, the journey was faster when the funeral has ended, a Warsaw guard opened the carriage's door to let me get into the Palace.  

I walked outside of the carriage with the kneels from the guards, the maids and the servants who saw me when I went past them. I immediately walked inside the King's courtroom, the place that put the throne to start the ceremony to form the new King.

The Warsaw guards that guarded the courtroom's door immediately bowed toward me when they saw me get closed to them and then they opened the door for me to go in.

I got into the courtroom, the officials and my relatives finally changed their nobles' clothes and stood straight to wait for me to get onto the throne. My little sister, Reimi, Rigen, his subordinates and Sherry were standing straight with their discipline to wait for me to get to the throne.

I went to the throne myself by walking through the long stair that led to it, when I walked to the throne's floor, I turned around to see the officials and my relatives below me.

Two maids came from behind and wore the King's red coat for me by covering the funeral clothes behind the King's clothes. After wearing for me the clothes, the maids bowed toward me and then walked down the stairs and got out of the courtroom.

I stood straight and saw Prime Minister, he was holding a golden plate that contained the Crown of the King.

The Prime Minister slowly walked up the stairs until he went up the throne floor and then slowly wore me the Crown. The Prime Minister walked fast down the stairs to join with the officials and my relatives below to stand straight and were about to greet the new Monarch.

"Long live the new Monarch! Long live the Warsaw!" - My relatives and the officials made a loud talk to greet me, I have finally become the new King, the one who holds my homeland's fate
