Chapter 3: Chapter 3 : Are you worthy?

"Oh, I almost forgot you had a comrade, did you? Daniel, let's have a visit with him." 

I was walking near my Lord as he asked me this question. 

"My lord, unfortunately Thomas is gone and I don't think there is anything left of his body." 

"Hmm, so his name was Thomas. Don't be sad, Daniel, his soul should still remain, but we should hurry." 

" Yes, my lord." 

We moved to the place where Thomas had died. Nothing but blood was left of his body. It was so cruel...

Wait Ixtal. I didn't know Thomas had a family name. 

"Hahaha, I see that elemental person was the reason for me coming back." 

"Now I will give you two choices, Thomas. You can go to after life or you can give Daniel your power."

I was wondering what my lord meant by that. Suddenly, everything changed and I was in a place full of crys and screams and Thomas was right there as I could, his face now. 

"What is this?" 

"Daniel, good to see you." 

"Thomas, is that really you?" 

Thomas's body was a skeleton and a green fire was burning inside his body. 

"Yes, you also changed." 

" This is thanks to my lord."

Another golden energy appeared in my lord's hand and Thomas could only kneel and accept it.

A few days later, inside a castle hidden in the mountains. 

"Daniel and Thomas are late..." 

A Demon girl was preparing food. 

"With this amount we would only have food for next 2 days..." 

Suddenly, a kid came into the room. 

"Sister Lilith, somebody is coming to the castle." 

"Who is it, Lucy? Is it Daniel and Thomas?" 

"I saw only Daniel but he really changed. I don't know about other ones ." 

"I see you take others and hide underground. Don't come out until I tell you OK?" 

" Yes." 

Little kid Lucy left the room and Litith started to move toward the castle door. 

'I hope it is not the worst-case scenario.' 

Other people also came to see who came to the Castle and all of them looked at 3 people outside of the castle. 

They could see Daniel. He wasn't anywhere near his former appearance as he had a muscular body with golden runes on his face and white eyes and near him a person with a mask and green eyes, but everyone's attention came to the next person. 

" Who are you?, introduce yourself?" 

He was a black knight with a large sword and golden eyes that could make anyone shocked with fear. 

"I am Abysswalker Artorias because of my two champions, Daniel and Thomas. I am here to give you people a new chance and life in my new world." 

Everyone was silenced as they could only look at his eyes. 

"I will free you from humans. I will give you back your freedom. You just need to prove your worth."
