Chapter 4: Chapter 4 : foolish woman

How nostalgic this castle brings back old memories. 

The door of the castle opened and a single woman came out. She had long white hair, red eyes and little horns on her head. I could also see her tail. She was a succubus. She looked at Daniel. 

"Daniel, is that really you?" 

"Miss Lilith, I know it is unbelievable, but yes, it is me Daniel." 

"then who are..." 

She looked at my eyes and I immediately saw a fragrance of her soul. 

" Hmm, such a beautiful soul. I can say God is so unfair. Your soul is worthy of being a Saint, not a succubus." 

"You were Sir Artorias. Did you do this to Daniel? What happened to Thomas?" 

"I only gave Daniel what he deserved and Thomas is also here." 

Thomas moved forward.

"What are you?" 

I ignored her and moved forward and stopped right before the door and looked up. 

"Hear me foolish people, I have a wagon full of food right here. I will give it to you in exchange let us stay in this castle." 

I gave a signal to Thomas and he nodded and showed everyone what was inside the wagon. 

I could hear their screams as they saw the food. 

" Now, as you saw, I have so much food. Are you gonna let us in? "

I saw a skinny old person who came forward. 

"My name is Henry. We will let you in but you have to drop all of your weapons." 

I just smiled. 

"Deal." 

The stupid woman couldn't believe it and showed her protest. 

"Henry, how could you let these people in. We agreed to talk about this before making any decision." 

"That is not the case anymore, Lilith, we need food and that is all." 

"What wait wait..." 

" Hey, take this as advice. Don't put your head on everything that others do, otherwise you might regret it." 

The door opened and we went in.

I can't believe Henry and others let them in so easily and how Daniel and Thomas changed that much the person responsible for all of this is not trustworthy. 

'I need to warn others. I also need to talk with Daniel and Thomas.' 

Everyone was gathering around the wagon as they wanted to see and also eat the food. But Henry came out and stopped them. 

"Everyone, please be patient. We need to store this food. We don't know when we are gonna get food again." 

Some people started to argue but in the end they nodded. 

"Thank you everyone." 

Henry then moved toward the Black Knight. 

"You must be hungry and tired, Sir Knight. We will prepare food for you."

I left these people and moved towards the underground to call out the children.

​Other kids also screamed and they ran outside. 

​" Don't run here, be careful." 

​Lilith also moved toward the main hall as everyone was gathered there to eat food.

​He could see Sir Knight and Daniel and Thomas as Henry was laughing and offering food to them. 

​"Oh, Lilith. Come here. I was talking about you, Sir Knight. Lilith was really a huge help for us poor people. She always give us hope and strength to live." 

​"I can see that clearly. Come, Miss Lilith, join us." 

​He offered me to join him in food. I want to refuse but I accept it. 

​"Indeed, here have a drink, Lilith." 

​Henry offered me a drink as I was about to take it. Sir Knight groaned in pain.

​Daniel and Thomas also fell to the ground.

​I saw Lucy and other kids as they tried to get to us but others stopped them. 

​"This is the end, Lilith. Thank you for everything." 

​I closed my eyes as I could only hear Sir Knight's last words.

​But the sword never came and I slowly opened my eyes. 

​"Yes, this is indeed the end, the end for unworthy people." 

​His golden pressure rose and everyone fell to the ground.
