When Chu Yi woke up again, it was already dark outside.

The sofa was very small and cramped. Chu Yi only moved a little, yet it seemed as if he was about to fall. He was covered with a blanket and there was nothing inside the blanket.

Qin Yiheng wasn’t at his side. Chu Yi let out a gasp from his throat, then sat up.

His clothes were scattered all over the floor. The living room lights weren’t turned on, but some light leaked in from the kitchen. Chu Yi peeked over there but was met with a blind spot and couldn’t see anything.

After sleeping for so long, he felt a bit dizzy. He first picked up his clothes from the ground and put them on. Then he poured a glass of water from the table and finally regained his senses.

He lowered his head and buried his face in his hands.

Did they just…

Do it for the entire afternoon…

“Awake?”

Qin Yiheng’s voice suddenly appeared. Chu Yi raised his head.

Chu Yi: “Mn.”

After responding, he lowered his head to drink water.

Qin Yiheng said: “Come eat.”

Chu Yi nodded: “Okay.”

Qin Yiheng turned on the lights in the living room. Chu Yi uncomfortably squinted his eyes for a bit and then glanced at the watch on the wall. Only to realize that it was currently eight o’clock in the evening.

He didn’t know when he fell asleep. He only remembered that after the two ended their last round, Qin Yiheng embraced him and asked him if he was sleepy.

Chu Yi was sleepy, but he didn’t plan on sleeping like this. He wanted to take a shower first, even if he didn’t have the energy to take a shower, he wanted to at least put on some clothes first.

However, Qin Yiheng’s tone was overly gentle. After Chu Yi answered him with a mn, Qin Yiheng held him even tighter. He even rubbed Chu Yi’s head a few times, as if coaxing him: “Sleep if you’re sleepy.”

Chu Yi got successfully coaxed and immediately dozed off as told.

A man of 178cm plus a man of 187cm. The sofa was already too small for them, but they still cuddled together.

What Chu Yi smelled was Qin Yiheng’s fragrance. What he felt was Qin Yiheng’s body temperature. And what he heard was Qin Yiheng’s heartbeat.

This nap, he slept extremely well.

Qin Yiheng went to the dining room after talking to him. Chu Yi finished the water on the table, then went to the bathroom.

Chu Yi washed his face then rubbed his eyes to look at himself in the mirror.

His hair was messy, but because he had a bit of a natural curl, even messy curls had their own beauty. He grabbed it at random to make himself look a little less unrestrained.

His line of sight fell lower.

Chu Yi frowned.

What’s this thing under his neck?

Chu Yi approached the mirror, raised his head, and pulled down the collar of his clothes.

He froze for 2 seconds. Then carefully tidy up the collar until it can’t be seen.

Qin Yiheng seemed to be a little different this time.

As Chu Yi buried himself in his thoughts, he pursed his lips. However, it seemed to be useless as the smile still easily leaked from the corner of his mouth.

He suddenly thought of a certain moment, it was the scene of Qin Yiheng asking him to call him Qin-Laoshi.

And…

“Call me Qin-Laoshi.”

“Qin-Laoshi.”

“Other than Laoshi, what else am I to you?”

“Hubby.”

And then they just…

Oh god.

This was actually a conversation between him and Qin Yiheng?

Isn’t it too shameful?

Qin Yiheng’s voice at that time was so pleasant that it made one’s hair stand on its end.

Even the afterthoughts made Chu Yi feel a little restless.

Chu Yi coughed. He saw his face in the mirror that was gradually turning red, then suddenly became serious.

Calm down, Chu Yi.

After coming out of the bathroom, Chu Yi returned to his normal state, looking like he had no disturbance in his heart.

There are four dishes and one soup on the dining table, and the bowls and chopsticks are already set. When Chu Yi came over, Qin Yiheng was serving the soup.

It was a lavish menu with fish and meat, and it looked delicious. Chu Yi pulled out his chair and couldn’t help but wonder, “You made it?”

Qin Yiheng shook his head: “Takeout.”

Chu Yi oh-ed, questioned: “This place’s takeout looks quite good.” Chu Yi saw the restaurant logo on the side of the plate, he was a little surprised: “It came with the plate?”

Qin Yiheng nodded: “Mn.”

Chu Yi tilted his body to face the logo and read out the words on it: “Haitian Restaurant.” He raised his head to look at Qin Yiheng: “This logo was designed by me.”

Qin Yiheng became curious when he heard it, and glanced at the logo on the plate.

Chu Yi continued: “At that time, I had just set up my studio and I was the only one in the studio. Haitian Hotel just opened and wasn’t as high grade as it is now. Their logo and door signs were all made by me.” Chu Yi smiled: “We’re still cooperating now, but their orders are pretty much all handed to Xiao-Zhan.”

Qin Yiheng showed admiration in his eyes and nodded: “Very nice.”

Chu Yi smiled as he sat down: “Their manager invited me to a design exhibition some time ago, but it was on short notice and I wasn’t free at the time. I was on a business trip.” Chu Yi said in a sad tone: “It was an excellent design exhibition, there were many big names that went. I couldn’t even get a ticket, such a pity.”

Qin Yiheng: “Mn.”

Chu Yi: “So they also have takeout.”

Qin Yiheng: “Yes.”

Chu Yi: “Their services are quite good.”

Qin Yiheng: “It’s not bad.”

Chu Yi: “…”

You’re the one who wanted me to chat with you, so I chatted with you, and you’re like this…

Very nice, mn, yes, it’s not bad.

Chu Yi crooked his mouth then picked up the chopsticks.

Not gonna chat anymore.

So this meal passed in silence once again.

After dinner, Qin Yiheng received a call. Even after Chu Yi admired the fishes in the living room for a few minutes, he didn’t see Qin Yiheng hang up. He thought that it was probably company business, so he didn’t disturb him.

His body was sticky and he couldn’t wait any longer. He gave Qin Yiheng a look, regardless of whether Qin Yiheng understood it or not, he went upstairs to take a shower first.

After taking a shower, he glanced at the corridor, Qin Yiheng was still on the phone.

But he switched to earphones and brought out his computer.

So Chu Yi could only go back to the bedroom.

Chu Yi didn’t bring his computer up and only had his phone in hand. He was bored, but he was too lazy to go downstairs to get it.

He pondered for a bit as he lay on the bed, staring at the tablet beside the bed. He picked up his phone and sent Qin Yiheng a message.

Chu Yi: Can I borrow your tablet?

Qin Yiheng replied very quickly: Yes.

Qin Yiheng: The password is the same as the door.

Chu Yi: Ok.

Chu Yi: I’m only watching videos.

Qin Yiheng didn’t reply to him again, Chu Yi thought that Qin Yiheng probably didn’t mind.

After getting along with him today, Chu Yi’s views about this marriage were that other than love, everything else about Qin Yiheng is great.

He believes in Chu Yi unconditionally, gives him warmth, doesn’t act courteous with him, and doesn’t see him as an outsider.

Such an immortal-like partner.

Plus the marvelous sex life.

Freedom and harmony. It’s exactly the marriage life that many people dream of.

Chu Yi couldn’t help sighing.

But this man, Qin Yiheng, is way too good. It’s only been a day, and Chu Yi already can’t withstand it.

Qin Yiheng is already too charming, yet still likes to flirt with him, and Qin Yiheng himself doesn’t even know he’s flirting. The main point is that Chu Yi actually buys this.

The number of times his heartbeat has accelerated in the past two days is the highest in the past ten years.

Chu Yi thought, will he one day fall in love with Qin Yiheng?

He touched his chin, he probably would, right?

From a bystander’s point of view, it is completely natural for him to fall in love with Qin Yiheng. It would happen quite soon actually.

Chu Yi continued to touch his chin.

He can get along well with Qin Yiheng right now but he doesn’t know what will change after he falls in love with Qin Yiheng.

Will he become more humble?

On second thought, it doesn’t seem to be a big deal even if he falls in love with Qin Yiheng since they’re legal partners. As long as they don’t divorce, Qin Yiheng will always be his.

It’s just that, about love, when you fall into it, you would want it to be equal. If you fall in love with others, of course you would also hope that others love you back.

Chu Yi actually had some expectations towards falling in love with Qin Yiheng. He wanted to try something he had never tried before.

He tapped his chin.

If he likes Qin Yiheng and Qin Yiheng also likes him back.

Then that would be amazing.

He tapped his chin again.

This is way too much of his wishful thinking.

Is Qin Yiheng even the type of person to fall in love?

He thought too much and thought too far. Chu Yi shrugged, lowered his head, and laughed. Then picked up the tablet in his hand.

What was he thinking?

He quickly unlocked the tablet. Since Chu Yi has been very busy these days, he missed out on many basketball games and now plans to catch up.

He didn’t know what time Qin Yiheng would come back to the room. It was almost half past eleven after watching one game, and there was not much time left for the evening. Chu Yi looked at the progress bar of the next game and decided to continue next time.

The tablet was put away, and his phone suddenly rang.

Chu Yi looked down and saw that it was an unfamiliar number. He didn’t think much and picked it up.

“Hello.”

“Kid.”

Chu Yi’s heart suddenly sank when the voice transmitted over.

“Dad?”

There was a malicious laugh from that side: “You can still recognize Laozi[1]’s voice.”

Chu Yi’s grip on the phone became tighter.

“Very impressive, you actually dare to block my number?”

Chu Yi still hasn’t spoken.

That side continued: “You think I’m stupid?”

Chu Yi asked: “What do you want?”

That side ignored his words but made a very harsh sound. It was as if he was using something to knock on a big iron door.

Chu Yi couldn’t imagine where he was, he only felt that the other side was dirty.

“Not returning at night? Or did you go to your mom’s?” That side asked: “Don’t say you’re on a business trip, that kid from your studio tattled to you right?”

Chu Yi said the same thing again: “What do you want?”

“What do I want? What else would I want?” That side laughed: “Laozi has no more money, send some over to Laozi.”

Chu Yi: “I’m not giving. I’ll call the police if you continue to be like this.”

“Then call. Oh, I’m so scared.” That side said in a mocking tone: “I just found out your grandpa[2] died and your mom moved. She isn’t dead right?”

Chu Yi: “Chen Jianshi!”

“Aiyo, scolding Laozi.” Chen Jianshi sneered: “If you don’t give me money, I’ll go find your mom. City A is only so small and you only have those few relatives, I’ll eventually find her.”

Chu Yi: “You dare!”

Chen Jianshi: “What doesn’t your Laozi dare to do?”

Chu Yi was flustered. It just so happened that Qin Yiheng opened the door and came in at this time, which made Chu Yi even more flustered.

He didn’t want to talk any more nonsense with Chen Jianshi. He turned his head to slightly face Qin Yiheng with his back and said in a quiet voice: “I’ll send it to you later.”

Chen Jianshi laughed: “Okay, you don’t need me to tell you how much, right? Look at how big your studio is now, it’s much livelier than the last time I came. If you are a little more sincere, I won’t look for you in the future. You know the card number, right?”

Qin Yiheng walked towards the wardrobe, getting closer and closer to him.

Chu Yi said even quieter: “I got it, hanging up now.”

Chen Jianshi: “Good boy…”

Chu Yi hanged up before Chen Jianshi finished speaking,

Qin Yiheng took some clothes and went directly to the bathroom. He did not notice Chu Yi’s discomfort.

The moment the bathroom door was closed, Chu Yi collapsed, his palms were full of sweat.
