[POV Charybdis]

There’s another ship? And the girl on it is the cutest I have ever seen I just want to hug her and look after her. Full speed ahead I can’t wait any longer. We sail closer together until I can’t contain myself any longer and jump onto the sea and run over. Jumping onto the deck I wrap my arms around her and pull her into my chest and hold her in a tight hug. She tries to get out but I don’t let her I wrap my tentacles around her and start stroking her hair.

“Let me go I can’t breath.”

I can hear her muffled complaints, but I ignore them and keep hugging her for at least another ten minutes. Finally letting her go I step back, and she looks up and pouts at me.

“Can’t you even introduce yourself first?”

“Oh, my I do apologies, young lady.”

I step back and curtsy.

“I am HMS Charybdis light cruiser of the Dido class. May I inquire as to your name?”

The young lady looks away before replying.

“Hmph if you insist. I am HMAS Vampire destroyer of the Daring class.”

“Oh, my you are cute aren’t you pretending to be upset.”

“I’m not pretending hmph.”

“If you say so, my cute little vampire”

Quickly moving over to her I bring her back into a hug and like last time she struggles trying to get out.
“Now, now my cute little vampire don’t pretend you don’t like it.”

She suddenly stops her struggle and moves into the hug. She is the cutest. We stay like this for a while longer. Letting go I step back and look down at her.

“So, what shall we do now my cute little vampire?”

“Hmph don’t call me cute and do you assume I want to go with you?”

“Because you are so cute my cute little vampire I can’t help but go with you even if you disagree. Oh, and call me big sister.”

“Why would I call you big sister? Your just a bully hmph.”

“Oh my I do apologise but you are just too cute my little vampire I can't help but want to look after you. Can you forgive me?”

“I suppose I can big sister.”

My eyes widen in surprise and I swiftly and expertly pick her up and spin her around.

“You called me big sister you called me big sister. This is the happiest moment of my life my cute little sister.”

“I don’t want to be your little sister you just forced me okay.”

“If you say so, my cute little tsundere vampire.”

About half an hour later I am back on my ship, and we are sailing close to each other in search of land. When we find land, I need to get a camera if I can so that I can immortalise everything I can about my cute little tsundere vampire. I am sitting on the bow looking towards the vampire who is in front of me why does she have to be so cute?

[POV vampire}

What was big sister thinking jumping at me like that? It's not like I didn’t like the hug except she nearly suffocated me in her chest, but I wasn’t expecting it so obviously I would struggle but why is she so strong?

I will go along with big sis for now if she insists but it’s like I want to. All I want is to get to land and explore and learn about the world.

Wait what’s that sound? I start to follow an unknown sound into the bridge. Is it the phone? Walking over I pick it up and answer it.

“Hello, this is HMAS Vampire.”

“Hello, my cute little vampire sister.”

“Hmph, why did you call me?”

“I called to tell you that my early warning radar is picking up an aerial target about a mile to starboard travelling at forty knots.”

“I will prepare anti-air.”

“Well done my little vampire I will do the same.”

Putting the phone back I walk over to the window and focus on loading anti-air shells while traversing the turret to starboard. I look back to big sis and see she is doing the same. Now we wait.

About three minutes pass I can start to see what looks like a large, scaled bird in the sky. Using the fire directors to calculate the best firing solution I fire all guns as does big sis. We both keep firing as it approaches from what I can tell it is having little effect causing only minor injuries that don’t affect it. As it approaches it comes within range of the medium and light AA. I start firing my forty-millimetre Bofors and big sis fires her forty-millimetre pom poms and eventually her twenty-millimetre Oerlikons.

The air around the bird-like animal is filled with anti-air fire most missing but one lucky forty-millimetre round hits it knocking it out of the sky. It falls and crashes into the sea sinking below the waves. What was that? Maybe we will find out when we find civilisation.

The phone rings again and I answer it.

“Well done my cute little vampire sister”

“I didn’t do anything.”

“Of course, you did that hit that killed it was yours.”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course, I am you can't lose with that cuteness.”

“Big sis stop calling me cute hmph.”

“I can’t do that it would be an injustice to your cuteness. I just want to hug and love you, my cute little sister.”

This might not be so bad after all.
