Chapter 2: Ch2 pt 1

"My name?" I said absolutely stunned. Her eyes verged on the sky and surroundings full of horror things it was a full on horror field! "Is this.. all your doing?" She gulped.

I didn't bother saying anything Ai knows everything about me so needless to say she appeared right beside me.

"Ai." She introduced herself saying nothing further.

I nodded and pet her even. Standing on my tip toes to pet her heads.

I blushed as her contented smile and stopped, clearing my throat and looking at the goddess In front of me.

"It was her doing. This is the one whom I fell in love with." I said clearly.

They looked at her with amazement shock and did double take. surely many of their thoughts were about how I could fall in love with a woman who has multiple heads, faces. There were tentacles, eyes, tendrils, random body parts but she seemed for the most part humanoid enough. 

But..

She's perfect.

I nodded to my self as I looked at Ai then looked back to the Goddess.

"Right.. " she cleared her throat and willed her self to look at me. "I am xie." She said and but could only look up at the sky curiously. I smiled wider seeing such a reaction.

Ai..

"Why?" She asked.

I looked at Xie while thinking of Ai as I answered her question.

"Why what?" Of course I knew what she was talking about why I did all this stuff but of course although I'm nigh omniscient it'd be a bore if I did play once in a while.

"Why all of this.. are you truly...?" She seemed somewhat reluctant to ask so I helped her out.

"An Eldritch?" She gasped. 

Causing me to laugh. Onward. "An outer god?" I continued in a sing song voice. A teasing voice. "A cosmic horror? An elder god? The famed -"

"Enough!" Some how she appeared behind me a had clasped my mouth shut with a rather soft hand. Feels nice I say.

"You don't need to say more. What if they come here!" She trembled slightly as tall as she was she seemed more like a cute tall bunny.

I put my hand on hers that covered my mouth as it grew steady with my words.

"No need to worry. Who do you think caused this? I'm also here to admit I've taken an interest in you so you will be fine." I said in a soothing voice.

"Hmph." The dragon scoffed. "You think because you have any sort of relationship with one of the aforementioned beings you are safe mentioning them?"

"Mortals indeed have arrogance shame that it only hasten their end." One of the voices from the Goddess domain.

"The ones who should receive those words are the Outer-" I said while gently moving Xie's hand only for her to clasp it back over my mouth hearing what I would say.

I glanced behind me to see Ai laughing. Knowing I am purposely teasing them.

Thats good. I smiled behind the hand covering my mouth.

"Should we do something about this..?" Xie asked. Her face still showing reluctance likely not wanting to address the outers directly.

"What can we do? We've never addressed this for caution of bringing them here. Billions of years later there's one right in front of us after we only looked at each other! In silent agreement not to mention them at all." The dragon said.

Really just how afraid of outers are they that they resorted to such a silent agreement. I could feel it these beings in front of me are quasi omnipotent. Outers in the stories of the other world are on an insurmountable scale where infinites stack unnecessarily as it is incapable of glimpsing their power but people still try to entertain them selves.

Hm..

Now that I think of it Aeiss was only using one infinite. But I can clearly feel that these Goddesses in front of me are casually stacking infinites. 

I know some may wondering why I'm wondering about this but I am free to know what I please however I'll only learn it if my curiosity Is enough.

Onward. I'll ask Aeiss my question now.

"Aeiss." I approached her while leaving Xie for a moment.

"Why is your power so low despite being a goddess?" I asked straight forwardly. 

Aeiss seemed to quietly be assessing the situation while I was talking to the others. She sighed after a moment then answered me.

"It's forbidden to use ones divinity in the mortal venue." She said and shut her eyes. Opening to glare at the spot where the king once lay.

I don't need my nigh omniscience to know she's still pissed about that.

"Speaking of which. Aeiss you have some explaining to do!" Xie pouted and approached Aeiss. I stood aside watching the scene with a warm smile.

"How could you leave me!? Why didn't you tell me you were leaving!?" Xie shouted indignantly.

Aeiss had watched her approach her glare fading as she became expressionless.

"Because I knew you would want to come."

"Of course I would you idiot!"

From there she began to complain to Aeiss and Aeiss could only sigh.

I turned to the dragon, goddess and Abyssal screen.

"So how are you guys holding onto this.." I said while point my gaze at the screen.

"Well although that fool died we can easily manage something like this." The dragon said proudly.

"I never let that human do anything in our domain I saw his intentions and set it up I also made sure it would activate when intended." The goddess bragged while making her disgust while saying human clear.

"Also.." her eyes verged on me. "You..."she looked at me as she didn't know what to make of me. The dragon looked over at me similarly.

"I'm not human." I smiled as I looked down. I really am.. glad I met Ai. "I am AI's creation." I looked in their eyes as I say.

I didn't say I'm just an Embodiment of planes because I could feel it.. Ai purposely made let me know that there something hidden.. something else she did to me.. but I felt right saying it like this.

"An apostle?" The dragon looked at me quizzically then looked at Ai.

"Well it's fine." The goddess said as she looked at me normally. "You're an apostle. Apostles are special existences that can stand beside dragons and even the abyss."

"What about goddesses?" I blinked twice curiously.

"Goddesses are something else entirely." 

"As I said earlier they're a bunch of nonsense." The abyss finally spoke causing everyone and me included to look at her again.

It really is a universal reaction huh? No beyond that. When the quiet one speaks everyone attentions becomes theirs. I sighed.

I could hear the steps of Xie and Aeiss coming behind me. I turned my head to look at the and found Xie clinging to Aeiss with a satisfied smile and lightly pink cheeks. I can assume things went well.

Aeiss walked straight up to me while keeping my gaze. The power in her eyes really is.. I found myself turning to face her meeting that powerful gaze. She really is cute.

"Will you still be protecting the forest?"

I nodded.

She closed her eyes while every released a quiet a gasp and looked at Ai.

"Worry not.. I've no intention to harm anyone." She said.

"Well what happens now?" I asked to everyone.

They woke from their stupor and looked at me then Each other.

"I will proceed with my succeeding events." The dragon said looked at us.

"We will make more events like this. This was fun." Came the goddess from her screen.

"..." The abyss was again quiet.

We all looked at Aeiss and Xie as the sky cleared. It happened instantaneously as if nothing was there. The sun gently kissed us shining down upon Xie. 

"Ill stay with Aeiss." Xie said as she rubbed her face on Aeiss arm as Aeiss gave.. no reaction what so ever.

Instead staring at me.

"We're going back to the forest." 

Hearing Aeiss we further said our farewells as we left with a warm feeling in our hearts. Well mostly my self I enjoyed every last bit of this entertainment.

The screens disappeared and we started our walk outside of the kingdom.

"Aeiss.." 

"Is everything ok?" She asked me.

"What you said earlier.. are you really destroying everything?"

She said she would only leave farmers so one can't help but wonder where that'll leave humanity after right?

"Yes. Tomorrow Ill fulfill that promise. None of them will live.. nothing will escape." She said as she clenched her fist. Her anger clear.

"I will help." I offered.

She nodded.

After a few more steps she stopped.

"You followed me?"

I nodded.

"Why?"

"To protect you."

She was looking no where in particular before but now she looked at me. Her gaze.. feels really good. She looked at me curiously then proceeded to walk while looking back at nothing in particular.

I do the same.

Soon we are at the outside of the forest.

Aeiss stops once more and looks at Xie who opens her eyes and looks back at her.

Aeiss sighed and stepped into the forest. Xie smiled brightly closing her eyes.

We came to the opening where I subjugated the dragon.

We stood for a while allowing the sun to shine warmly upon us.

Monsters and animals came to greet us.

Aeiss allowed them all to gather In front of us. The slime from earlier hopped out and jumped at Aeiss. Xie finally released Aeiss arm as Aeiss caught the slime in both hands and her expressionless face finally showed a smile. As small as it was it seemed as if time stopped. Again my heart skipped a beat. Fuck I'm getting caught off guard.

My eyes wandered over to Xie only to see she looked over at the same time as me. Her big black eyes made me unable to look away as I intended. Again my heart skipped a beat for girls that weren't Ai.

As we silently stared at each other it felt so much like one of those moments where one would kiss after staring for so long.

My mind gradually cleared until my eyes met her eyes while my mind was on her lips.

We both felt a gaze on us. No- plenty of gazes. Aeiss and the animals were looking at us intensely. 

We both turned away. I turned to Ai only to see her smiling as usual. Xie walked over to Aeiss and joined her sitting in the grass.

I sighed.

Anyway where should I lay? We don't have any inns or anything in the forest I looked to Aeiss to ask.

"Aeiss where does the guardian of they forest sleep?" 

She momentarily stopped cuddling and petting the animals and looked at me. 

"The guardian sleeps in the center of the forest. Here." She told me while patting the grass near her.

I could only sit with her and join in. The animals all surrounded us and let us cuddle and pet them only a few of them stayed away and glared at me from a distance.

One of the monsters.. a ghost girl small, walked over to me while stumbling. I watched her cute actions as she stared up at me with shining eyes. 

She reached out and I laughed warmly. My hands gently picked her up as I cuddled her. These moments.. I could freeze time right here.
