Hearing her words, his movements stopped. He clenched his fire-covered fists and looked at her warily.
"Little friend, let's talk. I'm not a bad person, so don't throw those fireballs at me. Alright?” Liu Qinghe raised her hand and said, showing her palm towards him. He didn't say anything, just kept looking at her.
Seeing that he no longer attacked her, she said, "My name is Liu Qinghe. What's your name? Where are your parents?"
His round eyes dimmed when he heard her question. His lips thinned and his eyes became wet but he still said nothing.
‘Huh? What happens?’ She was puzzled by his reaction.
“Have you eaten?” Liu QingHe asked.
He didn't say anything, but the fire in his hand slowly disappeared. Liu Qinghe lowered her hand and a piece of bread appeared in her palm. His eyes widened when he saw bread suddenly appear in her palm. His eyes twinkled with curiosity.
“I’m a space ability-user. I can store items in my space and you are a fire ability-user. We are both ability-users. Here, take this bread and eat first. You must be hungry.” She said with a smile. Judging from his thin and small frame, he must have been starving for a long time.
He looked at her for a while before taking a step forward. He took small steps, slowly approaching her. The moment he was in front of her, he took the bread and ran to the corner before he squatted there and ate the bread.
Liu QingHe felt he was pitiful. Looking at his body, he should be around five or six years old. If this is not the apocalypse, he should still be studying in kindergarten.
“Cough.. Cough..” He coughs while thumping his chest with his small fist.
Liu Qinghe took out a bottle of soy milk from her space and walked towards the boy. She put the soy milk in front of the child and said, “Eat slowly, I still have more if that’s not enough. Drink this while eating.”
He glanced at her before he took the bottle and drank the soy milk. His eating speed slowed down after drinking the soy milk, but he still glanced at her while eating. Liu Qinghe sighed and said, "I'll leave here in less than an hour. Do you want to follow me? I'll make sure you have enough food and a safe place to stay."
He still didn't speak, but he stopped eating and his hand tightened on the bottle. She raised her hand to pat his head, but stopped in the middle. Putting her hands down, she said, "You think about it. Two more people will leave with me. I'll go out and wait for you. If you don't go out when I leave, I will take it as you are not willing to go with me.”
After leaving those words, she walked out of the room, leaving him alone. When she walked to the cashier, she heard Yang Lixue's words.
"Brother, I don't agree to be a follower of that woman. I'm not like you. I'm destined to be a person of high status and rare ability."
‘Hm? What does she mean?’ Liu Qinghe stopped and stood behind the wall, listening to the conversation between the siblings.
“LiXue, stop being unreasonable and please stop with your wild imagination. You know both of us have no ability and it’s the best choice to go with Miss Liu. She is a space ability-user. At least we won’t starve when we are going with her. Our chance of survival increases when we have more manpower.” Yang LiQiang said with a sigh.
“I don’t care whatever your reason is. I won’t agree to follow that woman’s order.” Yang LiXue said with disdain.
He looked at his spoiled sister and said with annoyance, “Whatever.”
Seeing that they had finished speaking, Liu Qinghe walked towards Yang Liqiang. She sat next to him and said, "There's a little boy in that room. He's a fire ability-user, he should be at level one. I invited him to join us."

He nodded and said nothing. She closed her eyes and rested. She only has forty minutes of nap time, so she should use it wisely.
While she was resting inside the minimarket, a man outside sat on a tree’s branch near the window. His blue eyes followed her every move.
"It turns out that you are a dual ability-user." He muttered to himself in a hoarse voice.
Thirty minutes later, Liu Qinghe woke up from her nap and got ready to leave. As she retrieved an ax from the fire emergency box, she heard small footsteps coming from the room. She smiled and waited for a while before a small head finally peeked from behind the door.
She was standing there holding an ax while looking at him. After hesitating for a while, he walked out from behind the door and walked to her side. When he stood in front of her, she crouched down and said while looking at him, "Since we are friends now, can you tell me your name?"
He nodded then shook his head but he still said nothing. Liu Qinghe thought for a while before a sudden realization hit her. He was still young, maybe he watched his parents die before his eyes. Being able to live to this day has proved his will to survive, but sometimes watching a closed family die in front of him may leave a trauma.
‘Does he have PTSD so he can't speak??’
Her eyes softened when she looked at him. Patting his head, she said, "Then, how about I give you a nickname?"
Hearing her words, he nodded. "Let’s call you Baozi for the time being." She said, holding his little hand. His hold on her hand tightened and he nodded.
Holding Baozi's hand, Liu Qinghe left the minimarket. Yang Liqiang and Yang Lixue were already waiting for her outside. Looking at the little boy beside her, Yang Lixue's face sank, and she said in a low voice with some displeasure, "What a burden. Bringing such a small kid when facing the apocalypse. You're not afraid of being dragged down, but I am."
Liu Qinghe's eyes turned cold and she said, "If you are not satisfied with my arrangement, you can leave at any time.”
“What do you mean?!” Yang Lixue asked in a high pitched voice.
“Enough! If you feel that we are a burden and drag you down, you can go by yourself. I have enough with you already.” Yang Liqiang said with a cold face.
He was tired and he felt anxious about their parents and LiHua’s unknown situation, yet his little sister was not helping but kept making trouble and almost killed both of them a lot of time. This time, he finally met someone who was willing to travel with them and could lighten his load. And here she kept stirring trouble, he was fed up with her already. Sometimes, he felt it would be better without Lixue.
Liu Qinghe ignored the siblings and looked at the damaged car. With that car's condition, it's impossible to use it again. She took out her car from her space.
She opened the back door and helped Baozi into the car before turning to Yang Liqiang and asking, "Can you drive?"
"Yes, I can drive." He said.
"Then you drive." Liu Qinghe said as she climbed into the seat next to the driver.
Yang Liqiang opened the car door and sat in the driver's seat, getting ready to depart. Seeing her brother ignore her, Yang Lixue stomped her feet before going to the back seat. But before they could depart, something landed on their car roof.
