The car shook from the impact. Liu Qinghe opened the car door and was about to fight when she suddenly heard a hoarse voice from the roof. "I need your help."
She watched as a man in jeans crouched on the roof of her car covered in black scales, with a long tail trailing behind him. Her eyes widened in shock, she knew that humans would evolve, but she never thought it would have such a big impact on humans.
‘He is no longer human, but a mutant!’
The man's cat's eyes narrowed and he turned his head to avoid her sight. She suddenly felt uncomfortable, his expressions looked hurt and lonely.
Seeing Yang Liqiang and Baozi getting out of the car, she quickly stopped them and said, "Wait for me in the car. I will be back."
After speaking, she jumped onto the roof of the car and held his hand. He stiffened and turned to look at her. In an instant, his vision blurred and the next second, he was squatting on the soft and cool grass by the lake.
She took him to her space without thinking about the consequences. She only realized what she had done when they entered her space. However, what is done is done.
‘Next time, I should be more clear headed and careful.’
Liu Qinghe looked at his confused and vigilant eyes and said, "This is my space. It is safe and we can talk here."
He was surprised when he heard her words. It turns out that her space is different from other people's space.
‘Who is she exactly?’
Just as he was thinking about it, he felt a warmth in his cold hands and looked down. A small white hand was holding onto his black scales hand with sharp long nails. This is the first time anyone has been willing to touch him since he turned into a monster.
Seeing that he didn't speak, Liu Qinghe followed his gaze. Seeing that she was still holding his hand, she quickly let go and said, "I... I'm sorry. In order for you to come to my space, I need to hold onto you. I have no other intentions."
When she took back her hand, a trace of regret flashed in his heart. Glancing at her, he saw that the tips of her ears had turned pink, and a small curve appeared on his lips.
“By the way, what do you want me to help you with?” Liu Qinghe said.
Pulling back from his thoughts, he looked at her and said, “Help me heal my condition.”
Liu Qinghe was stunned and she avoided his eyes while saying, “What.. What do you mean? I’m not a doctor or a scientist, I can’t help you.”
“I know you have healing ability. It’s okay if it fails, but please try it. You are the only one who can help me.” He said. A trace of desperation could be heard from his voice.
Her body stiffened and she glanced at him. She saw a glimmer of hope in his eyes. After thinking about the pros and cons for a long time, she finally said with a sigh, "I don't know how to heal others. My ability can only heal myself but we can try to use my blood."
“What do you mean using your blood?” He asked.
“Let you drink my blood. Maybe it can help your condition.”
He fell silent. And just when she thought he would agree, she heard him say, "No. If that's the case, then let's forget about this. I will try to find another way. Thank you.”
“Why? Don’t you want to cure your condition?” Liu Qinghe asked curiously.

“I want to heal my condition but not when it would hurt other people.” He said while looking straight at her.
Looking at his blue eyes, she suddenly felt that he was a good person and it’s a pity for him to suffer like this. After making a decision in her heart, she smiled and said, "It won't hurt. We just need a little bit of my blood. Let's try it out." After thinking for a while he nodded.
"Wait here, I'll prepare." Liu Qinghe said before walking towards her house, leaving him there.
Inside her house, she went to the kitchen and took a small glass before she went to her bedroom. After closing her door, she took a pocket knife from the cabinet and sat on her bed.
Pooff!
Liu Qinghe turned into a white fox and only then did she notice that in the form of a fox, she didn't need a knife. She could just use her claws, not to mention with her paws she couldn’t hold the knife. Suddenly she felt so silly.
She went to the table by the bed and made a cut in her paw with her claw. Holding her paw above the glass, her blood dripped into the glass and slowly filled the glass. She had to cut her paw several times because the wounds healed so quickly that only a few drops of blood flowed from each cut.
‘I need to go to the hospital next time to collect the syringes. It hurts to cut my palm all the time.’
After she managed to get about 15ml of blood, she stopped and reverted to her human form. She took the small glass and walked towards the lake. He was squatting by the lake in a daze. Looking at his back, he looked very lonely.
Before she could say anything, he turned around. His senses were too acute. She handed him the cup and said, "Don’t ask. Just drink it."
His eyes flashed when he looked at the silver liquid with a sweet intoxicating fragrance inside the cup. Looking at her left palm, he saw a trace of small cuts there. He clenched his fists, took the cup and drank it all in one go.
Liu Qinghe stood beside him to check his situation. Before long, he frowned and suddenly he held onto his throat. His eyes widened and his body began to twitch and blue veins burst out on his forehead. Seeing his condition, she was stunned. She rushed towards him but was pushed away before she could touch him.
Bam! She was thrown away and fell heavily to the ground feeling dizzy.
“Ugh..” Liu Qinghe groaned and propped herself up. She was thrown more than ten meters with that one push.
Seeing him rolling on the ground in pain, she dared not approach him again. What if he accidentally kills her?
“Aarrgghh… ughh..” She could hear his growls and groans clearly.
She looked at him intently and saw a plume of white smoke oozed from his body. Suddenly, he jumped into the lake.
Splash!!
‘What the hell?! That’s for drinking, not for swimming!’
She ran towards the lake and all she could see were the ripples. He was nowhere to be seen. Liu Qinghe waited by the lake for nearly thirty minutes before seeing bubbles appearing on the lake.
‘Is he still alive?’
