Not long after, a hand appeared from the lake. Before she could react, Liu Qinghe saw a man pushed himself out of the lake. Her eyes widened and her mouth drooped in a large O-shape. 

 

The man in front of her is so handsome! The wet black hair covered half of his sharp eyes, and the water dripped from his sexy chin onto his broad chest, slowly rolled onto his eight-pack abs and disappeared under the mermaid line. He was tall and toned, and his tan body looked strong. His body is full of muscle, but not overly muscular. He looks better than any model.

 

Liu Qinghe swallowed when she saw the sexy man looking at her. His eyes were deep, and she could see a touch of complicated emotions in it. He combed his wet hair back with his slender fingers and walked towards her.

It's too much to see a man naked. She breathed a sigh of relief and walked to the lake before she looked at the water.

 

‘He's been in the lake for so long. Will it affect the water?’

He stood in front of her and said in a deep voice, "Thank you for helping me. My name is Huo Yanxiao."

 

As soon as Liu Qinghe heard his voice, she felt that her ears were pregnant. She is very weak against this type of voice ah~

 

Standing up, she stretched out her hand and smiled. "Liu Qinghe. Since you are all right now, let’s leave. My friends are still waiting for me outside.”

Huo YanXiao nodded towards them calmly while Yang Lixue’s eyes widened with excitement when she saw him from the car window.

No one noticed her strange gaze, except Baozi who was sitting beside her. Looking at her crazy eyes, his little face frowned. He moved his little bottom further away from her.

 

They left that place not long after. With an additional person in their group, Liu Qinghe decided to sit in the back with Baozi, while Huo Yanxiao sat in the front. Following the map that Liu Qinghe found inside the minimarket, they move towards city D. 

 

Without the electricity and signal, it was hard to find news about other places. Not knowing what the current situation is, they choose to use a small path which is safer with a small population. 

 

Along the way, they encountered some zombies which were easily killed by Huo Yanxiao. His fighting skills are sharp and precise, and he can kill those zombies with just a few moves. Liu Qinghe gave him a military knife that she had collected before. With him as the main attacker, she can collect more zombie nucleus without breaking a sweat.

 

After observing him for a while, she found that although he had changed back into a human form and was no longer a mutant, his strength, speed, instinct, and physical strength were all the same as before. Right now, he can be regarded as an ability-user whose ability is super power, animal type.

 

When it was getting dark, they finally found a gas station. Yang Liqiang parked the car near the store at the gas station. Before they could get out of the car, Huo Yanxiao raised his hand and said, "Wait. There is something inside. I'll go take a look."

While she was planning on her next steps, a loud sound was heard coming from the shop.

Hearing the sound, Liu Qinghe opened the car’s door and ran towards the shop without hesitation. Seeing her running towards the shop without looking back, Baozi and Yang Liqiang also followed behind her closely. Yan Lixue hesitated for a while before finally following them.

 

Inside the store, Huo Yanxiao was fighting a zombie. The zombie is nearly two meters tall and its body was bulging with muscle. Its mouth stretches from left ear to right ear and it can swallow an adult's head without a problem in one bite. Every time it growled, its tongue twitched and the stench of rotting came out of its mouth.

 

Liu Qinghe saw that Huo Yanxiao was thrown by the zombie as he crashed into the wall, leaving a hole in it. The zombie charged towards him with its claws raised high. Seeing that he didn't have time to dodge the attack, she ran in his direction.
