Yang LiHua turned around when she heard the screaming from behind. Her eyes widened when she saw what was happening. Liu QingHe grabbed the knife using her bare left hand and stopped the knife from stabbing into her spine. 

Drip.. Drip.. Drip..

Liu QingHe clenched her teeth when she felt the pain, but she refused to let go of the knife. Ai ZhiXiang was startled when she saw her hand bleeding and the blood dripped onto the floor. She let go of the knife when she came back to her senses.

Clang! The knife fell to the floor when Liu QingHe let go of her grip.

“QingHe! Are you crazy?! You don’t want your hand anymore?!” Yang LiHua shouted while holding onto Liu QingHe’s injured arm. Her face ashen when she saw her lost so much blood.

Looking at Ai ZhiXiang, Yang LiHua said while gritting her teeth, “You just wait! I will report it to the police, this is a murder attempt!”

“What are you saying? I’m just fooling around, who told her to grab the knife?!” Ai ZhiXiang said while panicking. Her eyes darted around, doesn’t dare to look at them.

“No matter what your excuse is, I will sue you. There is CCTV everywhere and a lot of witnesses, I have enough evidence to put you behind the bars!” Yang LiHua said threatenly. 

“Hiss.. LiHua, can we go to the clinic first? I’m in pain right now.” Liu QingHe said.

“Yes, yes. Let’s go to the clinic first. I will handle this crazy bitch later.” Yang LiHua said. 

Liu QingHe glanced at Ai ZhiXiang before turning around and walked away with Yang LiHua. She felt a bit dizzy from losing too much blood. Using her right hand to press her injured left palm, Liu QingHe said with a low voice, “LiHua, later don’t go to the class. I need you to come with me somewhere. Is that okay?”

“Okay. I’ll do whatever you ask. If not because of you blocking that knife for me, maybe I will be in the hospital right now. That crazy bitch, I will settle the score with her sooner or later.” Yang LiHua said through gritted teeth.

Liu QingHe doesn’t know what happened between them so she said nothing. Yang LiHua brings Liu QingHe to the clinic for emergency treatment. 

Inside the clinic, a doctor was wrapping Liu QingHe’s left palm with bandage while saying, “Your wound is a bit deep. Go to the hospital later to do a check up. Remember to avoid getting your wound wet. Really, you shouldn’t grab a knife like that. You could become cripple if you hurt your nerves or joints.”

Yang LiHua asked with an ashen face, “Doctor, QingHe’s hand will be alright, right?”

The doctor wrote a prescription for Liu QingHe while saying, “Her hand is fine. But she better go to the hospital and do a check up, in case she hurts her nerves.”

Before Yang LiHua could say anything, Liu QingHe said, “There is no need to go to the hospital. My hand is alright.”

She smiled when she heard the doctor’s words. They leave the clinic after thanking the doctor. While walking towards a pharmacy, she saw the sky start to darkened with gold clouds rolling in the sky. Yang LiHua saw her looking at the sky, so she looked up and what she saw left her stunned.

Pulling onto her clothes, Yang LiHua said with a soft voice, “QingHe, is there really a gold cloud above us right now?”

“En. LiHua, let’s go to the open field.” Liu QingHe said while pulling Yang LiHua’s hand. Yang LiHua follows her while looking at the strange phenomenon in the sky.

After walking for ten minutes, they reached the open field behind the school. The moment they reached the open field, the sky turned dark and the rumbling of thunder could be heard clearly, reverberating in the sky. Yang LiHua looked at the strange phenomenon in the sky and said with a low voice, “QingHe, looks like it will be raining at any moment. We better go to another place, your hand couldn’t get wet.”

Liu QingHe held onto her arm and said with a solemn expression, “LiHua, no matter what happens later, make sure you soak in the rain as long as you can. Please trust me.”

Crack! A loud sound of thunder passing by shook Yang LiHua. Standing on the open field in this kind of weather was dangerous, they could be struck by lightning at any time. She was torn between staying with Liu QingHe or leaving this place to take cover.

“LiHua, this is the only chance for you to survive in the future.” Liu QingHe said with a serious tone while looking straight at her eyes.

Looking at her expression, Yang LiHua gritted her teeth and decided to stay with her. “Alright, I trust you QingHe. Even though we just know each other, I know you won’t harm me.”

They hold each other’s hands tightly while waiting with their hearts beating fast. Not long after, the first rain drop fell from the sky. It’s exactly the same as Liu QingHe’s dream. The rain glowed with a golden color. The first rain drop fell on her eyes. Blinking her eyes, She could feel the warm current entering her body.

The rain soon became heavier. Yang LiHua stood beside her in a trance. She thought the rain would be cold but she never expected this golden rain would be warm and the feeling of soaking under the rain was so comfortable.

Liu QingHe opened her injured left palm and the moment the raindrop touched her wound, it started healing at a fast speed clear to the naked eyes. She unwrapped the bandage on her left palm and saw that the wound had already recovered fully. Her lips curled up when she saw this. Since the golden rain was true, then the apocalypse was true also.

Turning towards Yang LiHua, She said, “LiHua, if I tell you that in less than three months, our world will be facing the apocalypse, will you believe me?”

Yang LiHua turned her head and looked at her with her eyes widened. “What do you mean, QingHe?” She asked with disbelief.
