The next second Liu QingHe opened her eyes, what she saw was not her backyard but a vast grassland. There is a lake ten meters in front of her and a small house similar to her own house on her left. Looking down, she saw the grass was not so tall, it reached her ankle and felt cool when it touched her skin. Is this the mysterious space that always appeared in novels? 

Raising her head, she couldn’t see the sky, there was a thick fog covering the sky. While on her right side, there was a forest filled with strange looking tall trees. The tree was so thick and tall, with the fog above, she couldn’t see the top of the tree.

After looking around for a while, she walked towards the lake. This lake’s water was clear and cool when she touched it. Scooping the water using her palms, she took a sip of it and found that this lake’s water was tasty. It’s even better than those expensive water infused with oxygen. But she couldn’t see anything inside the lake. It’s like there are no living beings at all, so basically this lake only has water.

Walking towards the house, she was taken aback when she saw the interior of the house. After checking the entire house, she was sure this house was the same as her house outside. Sitting on the couch, she was deep in her thoughts. Looks like her dream about the apocalypse was true. With her sense of crisis pressing, her dreams, and this space, she couldn’t ignore the incoming apocalypse anymore.

After reaching that conclusion, she stood up from the couch and walked out of the house. Looking at the lake, she sighed and thought about how to get out of this place. The moment she thought of going out of the space, her vision blurred and she disappeared from the space, appearing at the same spot from before, standing at her backyard filled with sacks.

Her lips curled up. So, that’s how she went in and out from her space. Now, can she keep items from outside into her space? Walking towards the nearest sack, she touched it with her hand and thought, ‘in’.

The sack disappeared when she thought of that word. Nodding her head, she kept doing experiments with those sacks. After keeping all those seeds into her space, she got a rough information about her space. First, she could keep items or take out items from her space with her thought. Second, she could keep a lot of items into her space at the same time if those items were connected together. She doesn’t know if she could keep living beings inside her space or not, so tomorrow she will go to the market and buy a few pairs of animals and try it.

Looking at the darkened sky, she decided to stop doing the experiment and went to take shower before she went to sleep. She still has time before the apocalypse, there is no need to rush. Tomorrow, she will go to her school and take leave. When the apocalypse was here, she couldn’t continue with her studies anymore, so it’s better to make preparations for the apocalypse.

Laying on her bed after shower, she felt waves of tiredness washing her body. Maybe I should give Yang LiHua a hint about the apocalypse when I meet with her tomorrow. She was the first person I saw when I came here after all. She went into her deep sleep with that thought.

The moment she went into a deep sleep, the same thing happened to her body like before. The difference was only the translucent crystal inside her brain was getting bigger compared to before and it spinned faster. When the translucent crystal spinned so fast inside her brain, her body was covered in sweat with an awful smell. 

While her body was changing, she was dreaming at that moment. The dream was different from before. This time she was standing in an open field while the sky was rumbling with thunder and gold clouds were rolling in the sky. With a flash of lightning, the rain was falling from the sky. 

Just this rain was different from the normal rain, the rain glowed in a gold color. She could feel the rain dripped into her face and seeped into her body through her pores. Every time the rain seeped into her body, she felt her body become warm and a strange yet strong energy flowed inside her body before ending up in her brain. The feeling was addicting. 

Looking at the sky, she opened her palms to try to catch more rain water. The rain stopped after a while, when she looked down, there was a number on her palms. Those numbers look like the date and time. Before she could confirm it again, she was woken up by her alarm.

Bip bip bip bip bip..

Liu QingHe reached out her hand towards the small table beside her bed. Holding onto her phone, she turned off the alarm with her eyes half open. Laying on the bed for a while, she looked at the ceiling while recalling her dream. Her dream felt so real. If she was not wrong, today is the day for the gold rain like her dream. If the rain really happens today, then the apocalypse was a hundred percent certain thing. 

“Ugh..” She grunted while pushing herself up from the bed.

Today, she had a lot of things to do. After finished washing up and taking her breakfast, she left her house and went to her school. She only needs to walk for twenty minutes from her house to reach her school. This location was the best with a high population and easy access to any place. But, this is the worst place for the apocalypse since she doesn’t know who will turn into a zombie and who won’t.

Liu QingHe didn’t walk to her class but went to the administrative office instead. She doesn’t plan to continue taking class, but dropping out was troublesome. So, the best way is taking a year off from school. 

When she was walking to the office, she saw a commotion in front of her. A lot of people were crowding there looking at something. When she was nearer, she could hear a faint voice of a few girls bickering. Hm? Why is that voice so familiar?

Hastening her steps, she reached in no time and finally she could hear clearly. Turns out it’s indeed Yang LiHua. She moved to the front with great difficulty while getting squeezed by the people around her who watched the drama with great satisfaction.

“Yang LiHua, you better go look in the mirror first before you seduce people’s boyfriend!” A shrill voice coming from a young girl who wears thick makeup. With her left hand on her hip, she pointed at Yang LiHua like a shrew.

“Ai ZhiXiang, you better stop pointing at me or I’ll break your finger. Do you forget that this beauty is a black belt holder in wushu?” Yang LiHua said while crackling her fingers.

“What? You want to hit people now? I know you are a slut only by looking at your face. How dare you seduce my boyfriend, hah?!” Ai ZhiXiang ignored her warning and still pointed at her while talking with a loud voice.

Yang LiHua let out a long breath with anger clear on her face. “How many times have I told you, I’m not interested in your boyfriend? He is the one that keeps plastering me. Please manage your boyfriend well before coming cursing at innocent people, alright? And this face of me, I was born with it. You can’t blame my parents for giving me such a beautiful face that you couldn’t get even after countless plastic surgeries, right?” She said with a trace of taunting clear in her voice.

“You! Who do you say has countless plastic surgeries?” Ai ZhiXiang asked, her voice was higher by a notch with her words.

“Whoever responds. Anyway, I don’t have time to keep accompanying your bullshit here. I’m late for my class. Move away.” Yang LiHua said while pushing Ai ZhiXiang aside.

Ai ZhiXiang stumbled when she got pushed away by Yang LiHua. “You bitch! You are asking for it!” Being pushed aside by Yang LiHua like that in the public made her lose face. After stabilizing her body, she took out a flip knife from her pouch and rushed towards Yang LiHua while aiming the tip of the knife towards her spine. 

Looking at the situation, the surrounding people gasped while Liu QingHe rushed towards Yang LiHua.

“Watch out!”
