On the second month of living together, Jiang Yi and Chu Chuan fought.
They lived under the same roof and argued over trivial matters constantly. But that was just their personality, after every argument, Jiang Yi would take a step back and ask for forgiveness.
Their argument this time was once again some other trivial thing. But perhaps everyone in love was petty, even the tiniest things could produce the largest conflicts.
Jiang Yi’s face was dark as he looked at Chu Chuan, refusing to back down in hopes of the other to coax him. But Chu Chuan sat stone-faced on the sofa, still angry.
Jiang Yi gritted his teeth and threatened, “I can’t do this anymore! I’m going back to the dorms! Tonight!”
Chu Chuan sneered, “You’ve said this about 10 times now.”
“……”
“If I don’t go tonight, I’m a dog.”
He might have sounded impressive and broke off his retreat. But as the last sentence left his mouth, Jiang Yi only then realised that, if he didn’t leave tonight, he’d really have no more dignity.
Isn’t he pitiful? He finally got onto the same bed as Chu Chuan but never once slept with him. Now he has to move back to the dorms in order to keep his last shred of dignity.
He’s even started to suspect whether Chu Chuan really likes him.
Jiang Yi dragged himself back to their bedroom. He dug out a few shirts and folded them into a bag, hauling the bag and walking towards the door silently. When he passed the living room, not once did he look back at Chu Chuan.
As if full of determination.
About two seconds later, Chu Chuan still didn’t see the door reopen and finally couldn’t stop himself from standing up, preparing to call Jiang Yi.
The phone rang twice before the other hung up on him resolutely.
Chu Chuan facepalmed and shook his head, not bothering to change his slippers before grabbing the keys and going downstairs. He walked from their apartment to the road outside their area, shortening the usually 5 minute long route down to 2 minutes, but he still couldn’t catch a glimpse of Jiang Yi.
Where did he go? Chu Chuan looked for his phone with furrowed brows, wanting to send Jiang Yi a message but found that because of how hurriedly he had left the house, his phone wasn’t on him.
The area they lived in was very close to the school. The road outside was a night street, students with their bags over their shoulders walked around, but it wasn’t to the point where you could get lost. Chu Chuan retraced his steps back.
2 minutes later, Jiang Yi walked to the entrance of their apartment from another road. After he went down, it was too dark on the road and he was too distracted to focus, walking deeper into their area instead.
After coming out, Jiang Yi squatted next to their entrance for 5 minutes, but still hadn’t found the person he wanted to see. He flipped open his phone but there was only the call he hung up. He wore large sports shorts, the part of his leg not covered were all bitten by insects.
Jiang Yi stood up and stretched, throwing his phone into his bag and stalking towards the school.
Evan had been lying on the bed when he came back, flirting with some girl he just knew on Wechat. When he heard the door open, he turned around and teased him, “Jiang, your boyfriend doesn’t want you anymore?”
“…”
He just ignored him, threw down his bag, and went to take a shower. He only realised that he forgot to bring his pajamas in after drying himself.
Jiang Yi remained shirtless, walking out with just his underwear. He’d been roommates with Evan for a long time now, he was a straight man and has never done anything suspicious. Leaving his shirt off during summer was commonplace.
He poured out the clothes from his bag, flipping around with a dark face. He hadn’t had time to see when he was packing his clothes and only now found out that everything he took was Chu Chuan’s, not a single one was his.
Jiang Yi put on a random shirt. Chu Chuan was a little taller than him, so wearing the other’s clothes saved him from needing pants. He fell onto the bed behind him when Evan told him, “Jiang, your boyfriend found me.”
Jiang Yi paused, surprise in his eyes as he turned around, then calmed down after thinking… Does Chu Chuan want his clothes back?
“……”

“Why is he looking for you?”
Evan didn’t answer him, pressing down on the voice message button and saying, “Jiang’s in the dorms, you wanna see him?”
The message had barely been sent for 2 seconds before the other requested a video call. Evan pointed the camera at Jiang Yi.
Jiang Yi hesitated for a second before walking towards the phone with a stiff face, only to find a black screen. The camera had been blocked by Chu Chuan’s thumb.
But the other’s voice was transmitted through the mic perfectly, blatant displeasure was clear for all to hear, “Jiang Yi, you’re wearing this in the dorms?”
Wearing what? Jiang Yi looked down at himself in confusion.
Oh, I’m not wearing pants.
So what if he was wearing this? Chu Chuan’s face didn’t even change when he wore this in front of him.
“So what? It’s not like I’m wearing pants with my fly down.”
“…….”
“I’m giving you two minutes, Jiang Yi. Put on your pants.”
Jiang Yi was currently sitting on a chair, even lifting up his leg unhurriedly, “What if I don’t?”
He looked relaxed on the surface, but he was screaming in his heart. Holy shit Chu Chuan, can’t you just coax me?! One sentence is fine, just give me a step down and I’ll go back immediately.
The person on the other side was silent.
“I’m done! I’ve decided to sleep with Evan without pants o—” (t/n: sleep on the same bed not sleep sleep)
“I’ll give you 2 seconds to put on your pants before I leave.” The other cut him off.
Jiang Yi gaped.
In the next second, the thumb covering the camera moved away, revealing Chu Chuan’s handsome face on the screen—
And the wallpaper of their dorm’s corridor.
Jiang Yi stumbled to put on his pants, not forgetting to look at Evan smugly before leaving, “Who said I was dumped again?”
“…”
Chu Chuan waited for him by the door. When he saw Jiang Yi rush out, he raised his chin.
“Chuan ge, if you don’t give me a compromise today, I’m not going back.” Jiang Yi kept a straight face and leaned against the wall, “I’ll leave it to you.”
“A compromise? Sure.”
Chu Chuan’s lips curved up, kissing him on the lips, asking softly, “Is Jiang ge satisfied?”
Jiang Yi raised a brow in shock, finding his nose being pinched when he was about to speak.
Chu Chuan pinched his nose with one hand and blocked his mouth with the other, “You want to sleep on the same bed as Evan? You’ve grown bold, Jiang Yi.”
“….”
