Prologue

Ryu 'Jack' Baptise was the product of a Japanese-American mother and a Haitian-American father. He was a tall, lean, and handsome teenager of Sixteen-years of age. His hobbies weren't what one would expect from a teenager of his stature.

Because of these social quirks, he never achieved social dominance among his peerage; that didn't mean he lacked popularity. When he did put forth an effort, he excelled. He was athletic by genetics; his father was a former pro bowl player, and his mother was a renowned figure skater & gymnast; this made him a phenomenal natural athlete. But, his hobbies always were his number one priority, even among the social hierarchy he treaded upon without claiming one for himself.

Ryu excitedly exited the local Comic shop; clutched in hand was the current new issue of Naruto. He casually strolled down the sparsely populated sidewalk. He was already contemplating what could happen next after the cumulation of the fourth great Shinobi war.

Ryu 'Jack' Baptise resided in Chicago, Illinois. Chicago is the largest city in the state. The beautiful town was famously nicknamed the windy. It also held a dark underbelly, which gave it an unfortunate second name. The Iraq of the West: Chiraq.

In his wonderment, he missed the lights flash of a car, a signal that didn't go unnoticed by those who were awaiting it; a van marked with a cleaning company came to life, the door slid open, and men in Black attire stormed out.

At the same time, a young mother and her squabbling daughter exited the local coffee shop; in addition to the duo, a group of unsavory-looking teens was huddled closely, swaggering down the block carelessly.

Screech!

The sound of the car's rapid acceleration across asphalt squealed. Jack felt a cold pricking sensation on the nape of his neck. He stopped, he looked around the area to see the cause of the noise and queer feeling.

A black sedan sped around the corner, and a group of dark-clad men, carrying an assortment of gear and other weaponry, rushed forward. The window of the black sedan rolled down, a group of teens hanging out brandishing pistols.

Ryu stood still as the world seemed to freeze around him; he couldn't believe what he saw.

As the world slowed, it seemed like his perception had enhanced. He saw the mother and child pushed behind another guard as other men and women surrounded them protectively. The noise from the car alerted both parties; civilians dived for cover as the vehicle unleashed a hail of bullets upon the unsuspecting teens.

The bodyguards' pistols came from their holsters as they returned fire on the car, which caused the blacked-out teen shooters to return fire upon the bodyguards. The black-dressed men in tactical gear spread out and raised their automatic weaponry, and unleashed another hail of bullets upon both groups.

He could hear the woman scream and hug her innocent daughter as the men who protected her began to fall from the pitched battle. The teens sprang frowardly and fled as three of them remained on Joe's empty sidewalk, puddles of blood underneath them, unmoving.

One well-placed bullet from the darkly clad me hit the car's tire and caused it to jerk right and left before tumbling over and slamming into a group of parked cars.

While his perceptions slowed, he watched as the men and black seemly had the upper hand after the car explosion was a needed distraction. Suddenly, his perception halted altogether; he could see one person come from behind an overturned car, gun raised and aimed at the woman and innocent child; bullets spewed from the automatic weapon.

No! He shouted internally. He stepped forward, and it was like moving through molasses. He took another step, like treading water; his third step was explosive; he didn't think; he pushed forward with determination.

Immediately, he felt hot iron enter his body, and afterward, molting fires slowly course through his system. His world perception stuttered and came back to normal. He stared ahead as the voice screamed around him. In his hand still clutched the Naruto manga.

He felt her tears fall on him and the young mother standing over his head, screaming words he couldn't hear or discern; the little girl was held tightly to her mother staring at him. Those surviving men in black suits had their guns out, and he heard the sound of an ambulance in the background.

He smiled at the woman; never would he know. He saves the life of the President's granddaughter and his great-granddaughter. He would later receive a soldier's burial.

He coughed one final time and, in his last thoughts, was of his short stature, caring mother-loving face, and beside her the towering mountain of a man who was his hard-nosed father.

He closed his eyes and passed away.

Divine Star Continent, Magical Beast Forest.

In the center-most area of the continent, there was an expansive Magical Beast Forest with incalculable terrifying ferocious beasts. Since this Magic's beast paradise was in the continent's center, it always held neutrality; cities, towns, and many establishments backed by these small and large forces populated the forest's more tamed areas. This place was a paradise for many thrill-seeking adventurers hoping for lucky chances and fortuitous encounters.

This lucrative forest was so massive only a tiny percent of it had been mapped. Forces explored these dangerous woods for incalculable reasons, mainly because they could hunt magical beasts and become rich overnight. Adventures without strong familial ties longed for this, and a high-level beast could give them funds to lay the groundwork for generations in their names. Sadly, this is where countless youths and seasoned veteran adventurers would forever remain slumbering inside the forest because they lacked strength.

Inside a beautiful Everglade of the Magical Beasts' Forest, there was a small youth, and his age couldn't be more than twelve; he was wearing magnificent clothing. This youth has deep tanned unblemished skin and sword-like brows. The light rays flowed down on this youth; this youthful skin absorbed the sunlight.

Suddenly, the hands of this youth slowly moved, then he slowly opened his eyes, and he looked around him with a puzzled expression. The last surreal seconds of his memory came back to him. He lay astounded at what happened and what he could carry out.

"Where am I?" He said softly. His voice startled him.

"Didn't I die? How is this even possible?" He patted himself down, remembering the burning, molting pain he experienced.

He slowly stood and began to look around his surrounding. "How did I end up here." He said in exasperation. The environment was towering trees, colorful grassland, and strange noises.

"Ah...." He screamed, his howl mixing in with the wild nature of sounds surrounding him. He gripped the side of his head and rolled along the ground as one scene after another flashed through his mind. A life he didn't live, a dash of old inhabitant.

After hours of pain, he stopped his loud screaming it stopped. He managed to sit up, a saddened smile on his face. Tears unceasingly flowed from the handsome youth's face.

Divine Star Continent, Holy Flame Empire. My name is Aido Hwedo, a scion of the Hwedo household. He bitterly laughed while tears constantly flowed.

To think a pipe dream of mine would come to pass. I transmigrated. Ah. But, Aido, for you know us, to endure so much. Wuuwuu. He cried loudly, uncaring of the face.

"I, Aido, didn't die. I, Aido of Divine Star country, happened to merge with my other self of earth. Thus we are the same since Ryu's problems are yesterday's; I'll look for tomorrow; that's your problem Aido, our problems. He rubbed his reddened face and swollen eyes and thundered.

I Ryu just happened to take frontal control of this body," he said breathlessly as he patted his chest tenderly.

"Truly lamentable after being chased this far and believed to be finally safe from your pursuers, that your men, your supposed protectors, would be the ones to assassinate you..... And left here, after the bastards looted your corpse of all its treasure, to slowly die without care.

I, Ryu of Earth, May pilot this body now, but I will wash away the humiliation and guilt accumulated those people will have to pay costly taxes for; those giving and abuse, I daresay utter eradication is still letting them off." Said Ryu standing with slight trouble.

"Divine Star Continent, be ready for me! Ryu hasn't forgiven you yet!" He roared into the sky.
