Easternmost Magical Beast Forest, Divine Star Continent.
He sighed. The last two beasts were formidable, but with his abilities and techniques, he put down the second magical beast for the day. He stared at the meter-and-half beast before gripping the polished hand of his tantō and removing it from the beast's neck.
After the battle with the Stag, he decided to make a few purchases, he spent money on two more puppets, and this time he went with a tanker and ambusher; his original two were the basic design, but they're still deadly. He had an idea, what if he mixed his bloodline release with [Chakra Threads]? Technically he was already proficient with moving chakra from his body by the nature of his bloodline. The question was could he manipulate the puppetry technique through his bloodline?
He placed his palm on the beast and accepted the prompt. The beast vanished in a swirl of space-time ninjutsu, and another prompt appeared. Rank 1 beasts were tricky, especially the beats that roamed in packs.
Ryu was gearing up for a training montage. He always enjoyed those in the anime and mangas; the hero would venture into the wilds and come back scarred and more potent than before, his eyes spark with glee as he had images of him using terrain-altering Jutsu in a matter of months, but the system must've caught on to his enthusiasm because a notification blurred his vision and a multifaceted chime echoed inside his head.
He stared, mouth agape. 'Akatsuki didn't mention the system would hand out missions. And, penalties were hidden, but he didn't want the system to administer brain surgery.'
He dashed through the forest, his hands trailing behind him, his Yin-attributed Akatsuki wardrobe casting a wicked shadow alongside his muffled footfalls.
'Akatsuki,' he called to his crazed systems admin inwardly, not wanting his voice to alert any form of magical beast. 'Is there a way to calculate my progress, like a status sheet? I'll like to know how far along I am.' He asked, getting a sudden idea as the sudden mission the system gave him made him anxious.
"It's doable. I'll add that this isn't a perfect representation of abilities." She retorted. He nodded his head.
Status
Name: Ryu Jackson
Rank: Mid Academy
'Thank you." He said inwardly. He understood the numbers under were further details about his subsequent breakthroughs. Genjutsu being near rank 2 wasn't a surprise, he hasn't practiced much, but from his understanding, it came naturally to Uchiha members.

He was shocked at the nature releases but remembered the system did say he had them all.
"Additional nature releases are not shown. For obvious reasons, I've shown those you have 1% or more in." Said the System.
He nodded as his eyes continued to roam over the seemly hastily constructed status sheet that he requested to be made by the system. It would help him keep track of his current abilities, but he was also aware that this sheet was only a compilation and not a guarantor of his powers. The status sheet didn't count outside factors, like equipment that boosted his attributes.
His pondering stopped as he refocused on the task at hand. He had a mission, a rescue mission, believe it or not. The system didn't go into great detail; he knew beasts had surrounded a small settlement and the awards were enticing enough that he was traversing the magical forest at night.

He was headed eastbound from his secluded meadow and came across grander foes, but he only slew prey beasts.
Reading his thoughts, Akatsuki harshly said. "Your retreating from foes is disheartening." He didn't respond; the two had argued about his choices, he felt a protracted battle was counterproductive, he had a mission, and he was about to see actual people.
Ryu jumped from tree to tree, his eyes roaming around the thick outcropping, his senses stretched to their limits. He jumped upward, landing on a low-hanging branch before leaping further ahead, soaring across the ground a second time. He suddenly halted, his eyes shifting around.
System-Generated Mission: Humanity in need! A village is undergoing a beastide. Save as many humans as possible and help evacuate to the nearest stronghold. Rewards: Kubikiribōchō[ Executioners Blade] + Hidden Mist Secret Techniques.
He did another once-over of the mission details. The Executioner blade was costly; it was nearing one million Ryō. Even though it wasn't the best blade of the mist, it was practically indestructible. And the secondary reward wasn't anything to scoff at either; some would say it was the grander prize. Access to Hidden Mist Secret Techniques alongside his blossoming Kidōmaru abilities was terrific.
Blackbeard, his crow, one of the many from his summoning scroll, but his particular favorite landed on his shoulder. The black crow's head shifted at odd angles, its visible eyes transformed into a Sharingan, and the bird cawed loudly. Ryu nodded as he peered ahead. He had concrete directions other than the system's vague feeling he got.
Hours quickly passed, and the forest began to change. He soon came across a massacre. He activated his Sharingan immediately. He noticed female experts' bodies, and his eyes flashed red, his Sharingan pulsating. Humanity was already depraved, but he didn't expect the beast to be similar. He scanned the vicinity. It seemed like the human defenders decided to meet the tide head-on; unfortunately, something happened because hundreds of experts were dead, bodies opened, and viscera and organs had been eaten long ago.
"Pitiful!l," The system admonished the deceased. He chose to remain silent. Akatsuki was a malevolent force, one that was solely on his side.
He performed quick hand seals, and out of the smoke, two clones appeared; there were two shadow clones, he mentally directed them, and the two flashed away. He made more preparations before he went further ahead. He took out his gourd and restocked his supplies. He felt he wouldn't have a chance to withdraw his items from a storage scroll.
His thumb twitched suddenly, and he dodged to his left. A furry fist exploded past his face. Before he could retaliate, another finger twitched. If one looked closely, one would see a white thread tied around his fingers.
Hiden-Spider Web Area Jutsu. Spreads out a network of "touch threads" throughout an area. Allows the user to sense anything that comes into contact with them.
This was one of the many Kidōmaru's hiden-technique. This particular hidden technique had once held off hundreds of shadow clones. The inheritance system implanted all of the skills and techniques of Kidōmaru. He only needed to recall and practice. He raised his free hand and made the tiger sign.
Hiden-Spider Bind
The ape soon realized its mistake as invisible threads hardened, and he became immobile. Another human-sized ape beast landed on the branch, staff in its hand. His webs indicated he was surrounded. These must be the few left behind to secure their food.
The beast stabbed its staff forward; unbelievably, the weapon stretched out and slammed into the arm he raised. He stumbled back, his arm vibrating from the mighty clash. He felt the armor encased on his arms shatter. He ignored the notification, but he now knew these were man-apes.
He stared at the armed assailant before he leaped backward, his hand reaching from the small of his back as he drew his weapon and pierced the trapped ape with a backward thrust.
The ape beast's eyes held intelligence, and the beast hooted, its maw bloody, sudden waffling of the wind carried smoke and death, and the ape sneered and exploded forward.
'Tsk.' Ryu dropped down, not even considering battling the beasts in its element. The beast followed swiftly, its staff raised in an overhead attack.
Earth Release: Earth Military Movement Technique. This Jutsu allows the user to enter the ground and "swim" in it for a limited time.
Clone one leaped upward; it came from the earth like an arrow, an earth-encased fist slamming into the beast's chin, sending it skyward. Ryu appeared above the beast with the body flicker technique and whirled around, sending a vicious kick into the beast's side. He reinforced his kick with chakra and silky gold, significantly increasing lethality. He felt the beast's ribs creak before it was sent sliding across the ground.
He dodged another sneak attack from above by dancing backward. His hands flashed forward incredibly fast, golden kunais slinking into the ape's chest.
Grabbing the earlier beast's staff, he whirled it around in a figure-eight motion before pointing it at two additional beasts. He gestured toward them with his free hand. The angry man-ape eyes became red dots, and they roared to the skies before exploding forth. He ducked under a swipe and slammed the side of the Bo staff into the beast. His eyes flashed, and the second beast froze, and in the briefest moments, he brought the Bo Staff down on the beast's skull.
An influx of information slammed into him. His clone was just destroyed. Hooting sounds emanated from the vicinity. He couldn't continue to stand here.
He took a replenishing pill before leaping into the trees. He felt his reserves deplete moderately, but the medicine was still active, and he should recover half of what he had just used before he needed another powerful Jutsu. The hooting became quiet, but he knew the beats were ambushers. He paused, looked around, and performed hand seals, conjuring three silky gold clones.
