Mira turned her blade downwards as her energy grew strongly. Her eyes sparkled with a striking animosity. A shiver ran down my spine and unpleasant memories of our past training sessions came to mind.

("It hurts, you know? If you cut me a limb, Riri won't be able to fix me.") Lya spoke up, her energy matching Mira's.
"Oh, I forgot about that," Mira replied casually.

For an unknown reason my myndo wasn't working on Lyanna and vice versa.

"On the other hand, I can afford to shorten you a little bit.") answered Lyanna while raising her scythe in a threatening way.
"Still complexed by your small size anh? It must be weird for you that Rinne is the tallest and maybe.....the strongest."

Lya's spiritual energy exploded. Her "Book of lost souls" appeared.
("Let's get serious Mira.") She said with a lot of animosity coming out of her.

They both moved at the same time and were at each other's throats in a second.

"SLASH!!!" "SLASH!!!" "SLASH!!!"

The deadly blows increased and wreaked havoc, creating multiple craters all around them. Blood spurted profusely from both sides, but neither of them hesitated or backed down.

"Myndo: Ghost fighters" whispered Mira who multiplied by five in an instant.

"Wow."
"What the hell is this?"
"There are five now?"

Surprised reactions could be heard among the curious people who stayed. "Ghost fighters", this energy consuming technique allowed Mira to create glass copies of herself. Individually each copy had 1/5 the power of the original. Each one moved at Mira's will. Basically, it took an exceptional level of mastery and concentration to control them all at once. Lyanna was quickly cornered, the blades sliced through her body and through her limbs like butter. Her blood was gushing out in great quantities but her movements remained smart and sharp. She was in a bad position but she didn't move back a step. With mad skill, she dodged the attack of three copies with a backward jump, swung her great scythe and cut off their heads. The copies disappeared like sparks but were replaced in an instant by others. Still in the air, a huge portal opened in the sky and several arms of Vulkores flew out.

"FLASH"

Leaning on a glass platform several meters above the ground, Mira launched herself towards the portal without hesitation. Dozens of huge arms charged toward her as hundreds of glass swords formed around her.

"Myndo: Fury of the Blade Goddess"
"SLASH!!!"

THundreds of blades were flying in the sky like a fairy tale and seemed to shine brighter than the sun itself. They sliced through the many monsters in Mira's path, several huge pieces of the creatures rained down from the sky and pounded the ground, causing it to shake. Lya was flying high in the sky. Ornas scales formed wings on her back and held her in the air. As Mira rushed towards her jumping from platform to platform, she slowly raised her hand wrapped in dark energy. With a flick of her fingers, she spoke:

("Come to me, my faithful friend. Vollum, Predator of the Damned Souls.")

It was darker and more sinister than any she had produced before. A tremendous energy was coming out of it, and then :
"AHOUUUU"

A mournful howl pierced our ears. Screams of pain were heard here and there among the low-level bloodhounds. Some grabbed their ears unable to resist the pressure, others simply lost consciousness. A wave of energy swept through the area, sending warning signals through our bodies. Some became livid as their legs gave out on them. Others could not maintain their dignity and wet their pants. This was clearly not a fight for them

"What the hell?" complained Orion, his face tense. His hand held his sword tightly and his spiritual energy was already released.
"Calm down Orion, we are not in danger" I said, putting my hand on his shoulder.
"What do you mean calm down? That energy ..." he began to say with an uneasy voice.
"Yes, I know, Ornas seems very weak in comparaison to him. I would say that Vollum must be slightly below the level of a fourth-class follower, but his enormous reservoir of spiritual energy cannot even be compared."

"What ?What the...? What the hell is this?" he stammered in surprise.

One of the female bloodhounds on the scene pointed skyward at Lyanna. Emerging from the portal, a huge paw with long claws appeared in the sky then a head and a whole body. Standing in front of Lya, a wolf, or rather a particularly gloomy and menacing monster, appeared.
The giant wolf was enormous in size, measuring nearly twenty meters. Its black and gloomy coat masked the sunlight, plunging us into a kind of darkness. Its huge white fangs were out and a purplish aura surrounded the beast. Its red eyes hovered over Mira standing on a glass platform, sword in hand. Her face was tense and drops of sweat beaded on her forehead.
