Chapter 94: v5c9

It was the last day of vacation.

Almark was meditating on a rock on the road from the school building to the forest, his favorite place to meditate these days.

　As he answered, Almark looked at Wendy again.

She's looking good.

"Yeah."

　Wendy stood up and spread her arms in front of him.

"I left all the heavy stuff behind."

　She spun around to show him.

(I don't know. ...... myself as I am.)

He want her to come back as she is.

　it was desire of  Almark  when they parted at the winter residence.

　To tell the truth, there was still a shadow on Wendy's face, and he could tell that she was still forcing herself to act somewhat cheerful in front of him .

But that's only natural.

It's not that easy to separate a lot of things, and Wendy is a girl who cares about everyone

Even now, he still feel the guilt that he is the son of a mercenary.

　(There is no way she can say, "Yes, I i don't mind it.")

　(But Wendy is still trying to smile, .)

　Almark smiled in reply.

"Welcome back, Wendy. It's good to see you again."

　He meant it.

As soon as he saw Wendy's face, he knew his heart was beating  in his chest.

'Me too. I missed you so much."

　Wendy smiled happily as she said this.
