Chapter 19: I Can Give You A Job

"W… what happened??" Eden could only stare in confusion.

Eden walked limply back to the bike, She didn't know what happened to her. As she knew and felt, she didn't do anything terrible. So why In just one night did she lose all her jobs?

"What should I do? How do I pay my electricity and water bills?" Eden pushed the bike while lost in thought. From a distance, a luxury car approached.

Eden turned her head because the car was walking alongside her. Eden was all indifferent, but the car did not leave and continued to follow her. Finally, Eden stopped; she put on a super annoyed face.

[Who is it??] As Eden thought about that question, the car window fell down. Alexander's handsome face that looked satisfied was grinning at Eden. Of course, that grin looked annoying to Eden, who was having the worst morning of her life. Lost all jobs at the same time.

"Shit, why out of so many humans did I have to meet him this morning…!" Eden said quietly.

"Hello, Baby Girl." Greeted Alexander. Eden remained indifferent and walked back to school.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!" Alexander was a little annoyed that the little rabbit ignored him.

"Hey… hello?!! Are your ears deaf?" Alexander asked while flicking his fingers.

[I feel like hitting that handsome face with my bag. Too bad I don't have time for it. Patience… patience… better stay away from him, he's crazy.] Eden thought, her tiny lips pursed into a pout.

Eden stepped faster on the pavement while Alexander's car picked up speed so as not to be left behind.

"Why do you look annoyed, huh?" Alexander asked again, even though he knew that Eden had just lost all her jobs. Yes, of course he knew, it was Alexander who got Eden fired by Hanun, and bought the bookstore for the daily newsagent where Eden worked.

"None of your business!" Eden snapped.

"Wow, wow… how fierce! How about you leave your old bike and come in here." Alexander patted the sofa beside him. Alexander's driver stifled a laugh, the alpha wasn't usually so talkative and pushy.

"Tch, who wants in a car with you. Go on, don't bother me. I have to go to school." Eden kicked Alexander out.

Alexander took a deep breath, apparently taming a wild rabbit was not that easy. What else was a kind of rabbit that likes to grumble and be fierce. Alexander had no other choice but to offer Eden a job.

"Do you need a job?" asked Alexander, Eden stopped.

"Hey!! Could it be you are the one who made me lose all my jobs?" Eden turned and glared fiercely at Alexander.

Alexander smirked, Eden immediately snorted. [What an annoying man!!! Crazy!! Damn, he is Abusing his power!!] Well, but there's nothing Eden could do. It's useless to be angry, it's a waste of time and energy because her enemies were crazy rich man who claimed hisself was a werewolf, tsk, even the leaders of the werewolves. A King!!

"I can give you a job. with high wages, no need to worry anymore about your daily needs." Alexander smiled as sweetly as he could, still trying to persuade the girl patiently. He took out a business card. But Eden brushed it off.

"Job?? Be your sugar baby?? No, thanks." Eden got on her bicycle and left Alexander to go to school.

"Crazy pervert man!" Eden had cursed and raised her middle finger at the alpha. The form of annoyance on an unlucky morning.

"Hahaha, you naughty little rabbit. Just watch, I will definitely tame you!" Alexander chuckled at Eden's behavior. The girl openly challenged the king.

"How's Alpha?" asked the driver, "do I need to chase Miss Eden??"

"No, back to the mansion. One day she'll be looking for me herself." Alexander stared at Eden's back until she disappeared from his sight.

At school.

Eden stepped into her class, she sat on a bench near the window and started to open her cellphone. Her fingers kept scrolling the phone screen to find a part-time job that she could do after school ended.

"Hmm… flower shop, must understand about flowers. A bakery, must understand how to make bread." Eden took a deep breath, she didn't have the skills needed.

When Eden was busy looking for work. Bianca goes to class with her gang. They stroked Bianca's back, trying to calm her down. Bianca's face was as messed up as if she had been crying all night long.

[Why? she didn't usually cry.] Eden took a quick glance, then tried to focus on her cellphone again.

"Sob… sob… My father's company went bankrupt overnight. My father was detained at the police station because he was sued by investors who felt cheated." Bianca Sobbed while talking.

"How could that be???"

"That's scary, Bianca. Wow, we're so sorry." all Bianca's friend's faces looked sad.

[Tch, they're just playing an act.] Eden thought, those rich girls love to be two-faced. It's good at front, but maybe they talk bad about each other behind their back.

"So you're really poor now, right?" asked the other two friends.

Bianca looked up, her confused face pale. Poverty was a disgrace to Elite schools. And Bianca had lost her fortune now.

"A… are we friends?!" Bianca rose from her seat.

"I can't believe you can follow our lifestyle again. You've even lost all the house and its contents. Sorry, Bianca, no room for poor in our group." They mocked Bianca.

"Damn it, did you guys just throw me up?? Who used to defend you and make you a famous girl in school. I... All of you are famous because of me!" Bianca screamed.

"Shut up!! Who do you think you are now?" Pushed Bianca's body so that she fell backward.

"Ouch!" Bianca winced in pain.

[See...] Eden shrugged.

Eden just looked at the incident with a straight face, it seems that the girls who feel superior now have other prey to bully.

Yeah, but that's really weird. Why suddenly in one night Bianca fell into poverty?? Wasn't she still mocking Eden last night and making her lose her job? Who was so powerful that he could destroy Bianca's family instantly.

[Is it possible?? No… no way.] Eden thought about Alexander. Was Alexander's power so great that he could make Bianca suffer until want to die?

But, what was Alexander's motive for doing it??

Eden took a deep breath. The downfall of Bianca's family was none of her business. She still had important things to do. What else if not looking for a job.

When Eden was about to open her cellphone again, suddenly a text came in.

[Arley:

There is a job to be a waitress at a famous company party. The salary is quite much. Can you? Tomorrow at five o'clock.]

[Eden:

Of course I can!!!]

Eden was so happy. At least there is a job to repay the bill. Eden didn't expect that Alexander would be there too.
