"What have I done? Did I do something bad, Alex?" Eden was throbbing.

"Nothing, Girl." Alexander stroked Eden's cheek. "Don't overthink and go back to sleep; your body needs a lot of rest. And it's still dawn."

"I can not sleep. I'm afraid, Alex."

"Don't be afraid, Darling. I'm here; I am always here with you." Alex pushed Eden softly so she could back lying on the bed. Alex got onto the bed to lay beside her.

"I had a nightmare, Alex. Thick darkness surrounds me. I was strangling, could not breathe. I gasped tried to find oxygen. But, when I struggled, the more I moved, this thing gripped my neck tighter too." Eden shrugged in horror.

"I'll not let that happen in real life, Baby. Now you have to sleep! Your body needs it."

"Don't leave me alone, Alex. promise me!" Eden moored her head to Alexander's broad chest. The girl snuggled to find her comfort zone. Sweet scents were blooming between the two of them.

"Never, Girl." Alex stroked Eden's grey hair repeatedly until she fell asleep.

The dawn air was cold. The sky was still dark.

The moonlight peeked through the window grilles. The two of them slept under the moonlight. They were holding hands. Eden was feeling safe and comfy.

The sun was already high when Alexander woke up. The bright light that was piercing the window blinded his eyes.

Alexander turned, he saw Eden was still fast asleep in his arms. Alexander smiled, so cute. If Eden had not been sick, Alex would have been licking her lips very wild. Too bad this little bunny still had to rest.

Alex gave Eden a light kiss on the forehead then stood up to clean himself. It looked like today was going to be a long day.

"Alex, you're awake." Eden grabbed Alex's hand. She tied his index finger with hers.

"Hey, Girls. Feeling better, huh?" asked Alex. Eden nodded.

"How could I not wake up to a wet kiss on my forehead?" Eden smiled. Alex felt very relieved because he could see Eden's smile again.

"But you still need a lot of rest. You're exhausted."

"I'm exhausted?"

"Yes, the doctor said so. What were you doing that makes you feel so tired?" Alex tried to get information, but Eden just shook her head. Nothing she could remember.

"I don't remember anything, Alex." Eden lowered her face sadly.

"It's okay if you don't remember." Alex lightly pinched Eden's nose, hoping that the girl would be cheerful again.

Crutches…! Eden's stomach growled.

"Looks like the worms in my stomach are rebelling," Eden smirked while rubbing her slender stomach. Eden hadn't eaten anything since camp. Of course, she was starving.

"I'll have Jared cook something. A bowl of warm broth is sure will make you feel better soon. Do you agree?"

"Yes!!" Eden nodded happily.

Alex contacted Jared to prepare breakfast for Luna immediately. Alex told him to cook some broth to keep Eden's body warm.

No needed a long time. There was a knock on the door. Jared came in with a tray filled with food and fresh fruit. Since knowing that Eden eats vegetables, Alex asks Jared to buy vegetables and fresh fruits so she can eat.

"Please, Luna." Jared opened the serving lid. The delicious aroma of the hot broth wafted out. Creamy mashed potatoes and stirred vegetables side to side with the hot soup.

"WOW!!!" Eden drooled at the smell of food.

"Careful, it's still hot." Jared poured his soup into a bowl then gave it to Eden. But Alex's hand took over the bowl.

"Let me. Luna's hand still hurts," said Alex. That's right. There's still an IV in Eden's wrist.

"Okay, Alpha." Jared complied.

Alexander twirled the soup surface with a spoon to let it cool quickly. Alex was afraid Eden's tongue would burn if she took a sip of the soup right away.

"Open your mouth," Alex said with a spoon in hand.

Eden complied. She opened her mouth wide. Alex put the soup into Eden's tiny mouth.

"Tasty?"

"Hmm, that's delicious." Eden nodded. Sometimes she would snatch a stir-fried vegetable and put it in her mouth.

"Take it slow, Baby! there are still many." Alex rubbed Eden's lips, erasing the food splatter on the corners of her lips. Eden's face turned red like a steamed crab because of Alex's sweet act.

"wanna more?"

"Yes, please, Alpha." Eden opened her mouth widely.

"Tsk, Big baby girl." Alex chuckles. He teased Eden by taking the spoon away when Eden had opened her mouth.

"Don't tease me, Alex. I'm not a baby!! Let me eat by myself!!" Eden annoyed.

"Hahaha, Alex laughed. Jared laughed too. They were so adorable. Jared could see the change in Alexander's behavior. In the past, Alex was a quiet child. No one had seen him smile since he lost his parents. After ten years had passed, Alex began to open up his mind and was willing to smile. But Alex's smile cost a fortune. He smiled very rarely and was angry most of the time. And now, looked, he even laughed when this girl was mad at him. Eden brought a significant change to Alex's lousy behavior.

Alex fed Eden happily. Eden finished all the food in front of her until nothing was left. Her appetite increased drastically due to the fatigue after turning into a wolf.

"Alpha." Kai's arrival made Alex turn his head.

"I'm sorry, I was rude to enter without knocking on the door. but The door is open, so…."

"It's okay, Kai. Report what you got?" Alex interrupted Kai's words.

"The Amethyst Pack just gave the news that they canceled the fight. Sergio, the beta who challenged the Alpha, has given up and doesn't want to challenge anymore." Report Kairos.

"Good, one problem solved. But why do people who are so passionate about getting the alpha title give up before competing?" Alex was suspicious.

"Maybe Ronan managed to persuade Sergio." Kairos provided feedback.

"You're right. Sigh… the important thing is that the matter in the pack has been resolved without any bloodshed." Alex looked relieved.

Eden just listened without understanding the meanings of the conversation.

"There are more?"

"Yes, Alpha. The Wizards are sending messages to meet you." Kai handed over a letter that was sent with the owl. 'A' sealed.

"They are truly ancient old men! Times have advanced in modern times. Still sending letters with owls." Alex shook his head in surprise.

"Haven't you ever watched Harry Potter, Alex? Wizards do use owls to send their letters. And it's COOL!!" Eden joined in, making Jared and Kairos chuckle.

"But they're not Harry Potter!! They are only rotten old men who try to look young." Alex pinched Eden's cheek.

"Ouch!!" Eden groaned in pain.

Alex opened the letter and read. Ace wanted a meeting to discuss what happened in the forest at that time. What magic was contained in the coffin -located deep in the woods.

Ace also asked Alex to make a temporary peace because, at this time, the wizards were not a threat to him but the evil thing in the forest.

"Tch, you shameless bastard!" Alex handed the letter back into Kairos' hands. The commander read. He took a deep breath.

"What is it about, Alpha? Are the Wizards going to attack?" Jared asked.

"No, they want a ceasefire. They want us to accept their arrival." It was Kairos who answered.

"Geez. That's so strange!"

"Sigh… I have no idea too, Jared. Still looking for the answers."

A while ago.

Ace furrowed his brows when he saw that the hospital bed was empty. Jimmy disappeared from the inpatient room.

"Look for traces of that young man, King. Look for him until you find him. We have to stop him from doing bad things before finding Edith's necklace." Ace rubbed his face roughly. He only left Jimmy for a while to return to the magic tower, and now Jimmy was gone! How could his human body be so strong against this demon possession?

"I have to return to the magic tower. I'll be watching the progress searching for Edith's necklace." Ace handed over the task of finding Jimmy to King while he would return to help Jack.

"Yes, my lord."

A light appeared again when Ace raised his hand while making a seal and chanting a spell. The circular portal would take him back to the magic tower. More precisely, to the tree of life. A tree that holds all the Wizard's blood necklaces when they die. Ace had many fond memories with Edith around that tree.

"How about it, Jack?" Ace asked as soon as his body appeared. The green robe wizards who control time magic nodded respectfully at him.

"I've been turning fifteen years back. But haven't found it yet, Lord." Jack's face was pale, his sweat dripping like a waterfall. He had been turning back time all night, and of course, that activity took up a lot of his LUMINOS.

"Sorry, Jack. We have no choice." Ace sighed.

The years go backward. Spinning and spinning fast like film. Until finally, exactly seventeen years ago. A man with gray hair, sneaking around tree of life to steal Edith's blood stone.

"Miguel Grey?" Ace's face paled.

"You know him?" asked Jack.

"Yes, he is a warrior from the Tourmaline pack." Ace gasped. "Sent message to Alexander immediately!!"
