Chapter 58: What Have I Done?

"So Arrogant!!" The alpha was mad at Fenrir's behavior.

"Yeah! Since you are not a human. We'll kill you, bastard!" The other one yelled loudly to Fenrir.

"We will shut your mouth up!!" 

"Bring it on; I'm waiting!" Fenrir smiled full of passion. 

The atmosphere of the battle arena was tense and pressing. The two men versus a boy. Not an ordinary boy, the boy possessed by a cruel demon.

"He is so strong. Can you feel the dark aura around his body?" The alpha whispered to his beta.

"Yeah, thicker than King Alex." He nodded agreed.

"What are you guys talking about? Please don't ignore me! I'll be sad!" Fenrir grinned.

"Who are you, Boy?! Your body is a human, but, How can you have claws like us?" The alpha tried to speak with Fenrir. He wanted to avoid the fight with this stranger. 

"My name is Fenrir. Yeah, I'm the king of werewolves." Fenrir claimed the highest title of werewolves in this continent.

"Haha..." The beta laughed at him. "You must be joking, Kid. Fenrir is our ancestor. He died almost a thousand years ago. And Alexander Lupo is our King now." 

"Alexander Lupo?" Fenrir's eyes were sparkling with interest.

"Yes. He is the greatest werewolf on this continent!"

"So, I have to get his body to be my vessel. But, this body will not make it. So... first, I need the stronger vessel before I challenge him." Fenrir muttered to himself.

"Don't mumble like a crazy, Kid!! Let's fight!" They yelled.

The three of them got into a stance, leaned in, and put the weight on their forelegs.

Fenrir glared intently at Alpha from the Amethyst pack before quickly jumping up to rip the neck. The alpha easily dodged Fenrir's attack and countered his slashes. Too bad, missed, Fenrir managed to dodge.

"You're pretty fast too. What's your name?!" said Fenrir as he asked.

"My name is Ronan, and I'm the alpha in this pack," he replied.

"and you?"

"My name is Sergio, and I will be alpha too! Waiting in line first if you want to get the alpha's title, you bastard!!" Sergio jumped to challenge Fenrir to fight. He jumped from beside him and tore Fenrir. Fenrir's instincts could catch the attack direction. He dodged easily even though his shoulder was slightly scratched. Blood seeped down Fenrir's shoulder. The wound didn't close because his host was a human.

"Feel it, Bastard!!" Sergio growled.

Fenrir licked his blood. An evil laugh emerged from Jimmy's teen face. He was making all members of the pack who see it goosebump.

"That's what I wanted!! A rival who fights with passion!" Of course, Fenrir laughed happily. He wanted a match fight.

"Give up, Kid. Let us kill you painlessly." Ronan turned into werewolf combat mode. He was more agile and fast in this fighting mode.

"Ronan!!" A female wolf dashed into the hall. The battle sent chills down her spine because of Fenrir's immense dark aura.

"Yerrin, why are you here?" Ronan was surprised by the arrival of his mate.

"We fight together." Even though she was afraid, Yerin couldn't leave Ronan to fight with the strange creature alone.

"Gina, you are here too?" Sergio was no less surprised.

"Yeah, I'm afraid something happened to you." This she-wolf was Sergio's mate.

"Wow, four against one. You guys aren't fair." Fenrir laughed. "Fighting alongside by side with a mate is a joyful sensation. Too bad I don't have a mate now. She… *sigh* ... betrayed me." Fenrir looked sad.

"We don't have time for your story! Die!" Sergio ran and attacked Fenrir again. The man did not waste the opportunity in front of him. He leaped up, changed into werewolf combat mode, and spun through the air, landing his body behind Fenrir and tearing the broad back.

"Gotcha!!" he said. But it turned out his attack missed. Fenrir already moved. Sergio's eyes went wide. It was terrible. He was already fast, but Fenrir was much faster. Even though Fenrir was already injured and didn't heal himself, he is a zombie. The human inside him was unconscious and did not feel pain.

"where are you looking at, Kid?" Fenrir immediately attacked Sergio when he was off guard—pierced his heart with a sharp fingernail.

"Cough!!" Sergio coughed, blood spurting out. The blood spite out more and more as Fenrir successfully pulled out his heart. Fenrir's movements were so fast Sergio's heart was still beating slowly in the palm of his hand.

"NO!!!" Gina exclaimed. The mate's relationship was separated, and it was excruciating. Seeing her lover lying lifeless right in front of her eyes made this girl lose her mind.

Fenrir smirked at her. He grabbed Sergio's heart and squeezed it. Blood spurted again. Sergio's soul entered Fenrir's soul, making him even stronger.

"I'll kill you, bastard!!" she screamed in pain.

"I miss my mate too. Ah… You make me jealous." Fenrir sighed. He saw Gina running towards him with a face full of anger. Fenrir quickly strangled Gina's neck until she was out of breath.

Gina's face was red, and her legs were kicking. This She Wolf was in pain. She groaned, trying to escape Fenrir's hideous stranglehold. Fenrir did get stronger after devouring Sergio's soul just now.

"Let's see, baby. Did your soul as delicious as your mate?" Fenrir smirked. He stuck his sharp nails and tore Gina's chest. In one tug, Gina's heart slipped from her chest. The girl died. Fenrir threw the lifeless body onto the floor. Blood flooded the sacred hall belonging to the Amethyst Pack. Gina's face turned pale when the last blood left. Her eyes were wide and couldn't close because of Fenrir's stifle.

All the werewolves were staring in horror at the murdered phenomena in this place, including the couple, Alpha and Luna, from the Amethyst pack.

"Come here, Ron! I won't kill you! I will make you a vessel for me to replace this weak body." Fenrir offered peace.

"Ronan," Yerin shook her head in fear. She continued to hold Ronan's hand. Ronan smiled at his mate and patted the back of her hand to calm her down.

"There's no need for bloodshed, Ronan." Fenrir threw away Gina's heart when he finished absorbing her soul.

Ronan kneeled in front of Fenrir. His body trembled at the sight of Fenrir's red eyes, which lit up even more brightly from having successfully devoured five werewolves' souls. Three guards and two betas.

Ronan didn't want his mate to get hurt too. Ronan was forced to bow down. If it were true that this terrifying creature was Fenrir, no one would be able to stop him even if the whole pack attacked him together.

"Right!! Bow down to your King!!! I am Fenrir, the great!! You will feel lucky to be a vessel for me!!" Fenrir touched Ronan's forehead and pressed it.

A highly dense dark soul flowed from Jimmy's mouth, eyes, nose, and ears. The thick darkness twisted through the air and entered Ronan's body -the alpha of the Amethyst pack- in the same way.

"Aaah!!" Ronan screamed in pain. The moving soul process turned out to be very painful. Ronan screamed painfully. The scream echoed throughout the hall.

Ronan's inside body burned by such great energy. The power of a soul controlled by vengeance and anger forced him to the unconscious. Fenrir's soul moved, finding a new vessel for his soul. A much stronger body. And most importantly, he was an alpha!

Ronan's eyes turned red. Now, he was Fenrir, no longer Ronan.

"Call me Alpha!" Fenrir turned into a giant wolf. He howled to call the pack.

All the wolves staying at the hall and the other pack members immediately looked at him with fear. They bowed to the alpha. Yerin's body shook violently but still accompanied the alpha as his Luna.

"AAAA!!!" Eden screamed and woke up. Her face was covered with cold sweats. Alexander flinched. He grabbed her hand immediately.

"Alex!!" Eden hugged Alex. She was afraid of something.

"Are you okay, Baby? did you have a bad dream?" Alex stroked Eden's hair down to her back. His hug made Eden feel safe and comfy. She laid on his chest, catching the air as much as she could. Eden choked from her nightmare.

"I'm afraid, Alex. I... I," Eden stuttered, couldn't find the way to tell Alex about her dream. It's undescribed.

"Shh... you safe here, Baby. I'm with you." Alex calmed Eden.

Eden touched her body, searching for her necklace. The only thing that her father left for her. Eden found the chain still hanging on her neck.

"Max repaired this chain for you." Alex smiled. Eden sighed. Nothing gone.

"Alex, what had happened to me?" Eden asked.

"You don't remember anything?" Alex furrowed.

"The last thing I can remember is when I fell to the hillside. Jimmy gripped me to the woods, and... we both slipped." Eden massaged her temples, and her head was dizzy.

"It's okay, Baby. Don't push yourself." Alex kissed Eden's forehead and hugged her once more, this time tighter.

"What have I done, Alex?"
