Chapter 68: I'm Sorry, Alex!

Outside, Alexander tried to hear their conversation. From the moment Ace entered the room, the man kept sticking his ear to the door. He even set the frequency of his hearing ability to full power, but… no sound was heard!!

Alex growled. He hated this man!! It felt like he wanted to tear, sliver, and shred, crushing his flesh and bone until nothing was left. If only Alex could release his original power from the magic seal right now, indeed, Alex would kill Ace at The first line.

Alex rushed to Eden as soon as the freaking threat disappeared. Alex hugged Eden. He kissed her tiny face to the top of her head and neck. Without pause, feeling Eden's warm body temperature made Alex happy. Inhaling her body scent made Alex grateful.

"Alex, stop!!" Eden chuckled. This girl tried to smile and live her life again as if she didn't know anything. Even though, to be honest, Eden was the one who was suffering the most right now.

Eden breathed a sigh of relief hearing Alex's words. Thankfully, Alex didn't seem to have overheard her conversation with Ace at all.

"I just don't want you to fight anymore. Ace isn't a bad guy. He helped me a lot at school, ex. I also just wanted to thank him for healing me." Eden was looking for an excuse. This girl also felt guilty. Since when did she become so good at lying?? Maybe love made her be like this. She was afraid of losing Alex's love.
