Chapter 4: ch4 – What a flashy entrance!

 

 

POV: Narrator

 

It was a wonderful morning. The sun was slowly going down and bathed everything in a gorgeous orange light wich lulled many to sleep. Everyone thought it will just be another average day where everything went it’s way but i wasn’t. Today was the day where everyone will feel the descent of a certain pair of goddesses.

 

First it was just an unusual feeling. Everyone on the continent felt it. It was an uncomfortable feeling like something was bothering you but you don’t know what. But then it happened. An event that will go down in history and will be remembered as the day oft he curse.

 

First it went dark. Not dark like the beautiful nighsky, no it went eerily dark. It felt like someone just snuffed out the sun and moon. After that the fog started to spread over the whole continent. The fog felt like someone was touching you with silk but no one could actually see anything. After the spreading oft the fog came the fear. It was fear no mortal has ever felt before. It wasn’t the fear oft he strong and it wasn’t the fear oft he unknown no, it was a fear so deeply rooted in the minds of mortals that simply no one could resist it. The strongest of every country where huddled in some cornen shivering like wet dogs.

 

It was the fear of mortals when in the presence of a god.

 

 After ten seconds of complete darkness and the worst fear everyone has ever felt there was bright flash in the middle oft the 9 kingdoms and everything was back to normal. Except the minds oft he mortals. Some were broken and others where scared. The strong were mad someone dared to make them scared and others were in awe oft he displayed power but no one actually knew what happened and no one expected, that a new land was just created:

 

The cursed lands.

 

 

POV: Human Emperor

LOCATION: The holy empire of human’s

 

„WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT“ (Human emperor)

 

„you-y-yo-your ma-majesty I don’t k-know! “ (Servant)

 

I was shivering. I the FUCKING emperor was shivering and I don’t even know the reason. FUCK! This is a discrace. I was running to my balcon and watched as the capital slowly awakened from it’s stupor. Many people were still shivering but they slowly recovered.

 

„Send out a commission tot he guild. Whoever goes tot he location of this weird light-flash first and brings back a report about what the fuck is over there I will personally reward 10.000 Goldcoins and a mansion“

 

„B-but your majesty! That’s too generous!“

 

„SHUT THE FUCK UP! DO YOU SEE THAT THE WHOLE WORLD IS SHIVERING! Whatever is out there is fucking terrifying and I want to know what it is. The eradication of beastmen can wait. Those filthy mutts are nothing compared to this. This could endanger the supermacy oft he humans. DO-YOU-UNDERSTAND?“

 

„Y-y-yes your m-majesty!“

 

‚Fuck Fuck FUCK! What the fuck was that. Shit I never was so scared before. SHIT. I hope I’m not the only one oft he rulers that’s scared shitless. I Hope those stuck-up elves are crying on the groung right now. Fucking elves can all die. Fuck everyone can die except humans. I gonna rest now or I will faint. SHIT!‘

 

 

 

POV: King of Elves

LOCATION: Palace in the tree of life

 

„Have mercy! Have mercy on us! Please have mercy on us elves!“ (Elven priestess)

 

„…“ (King of Elves)

 

„We have sinned! We are sinners! Have mercy please! Have mercy!“ (Elven priestess)

 

 

„shut up“ (King of Elves)

 

„Please forgive us oh almighty for we are sinners! “ (Elven priestess)

 

„SHUT THE FUCK UP! “ (King of Elves)

 

„Your majesty! I don’t know what that was but this has to be a sign! We must have angered a god! “ (Elven Priestess)

 

„I DON’T CARE! We are elves! We are a superior race! We can overcome something as minor as this! “ (King of elves)

 

„But your majesty! “ (Elven Priestess)

 

„GET OUT! GET THE FUCK OUT! “ (King of elves)

 

‘Fuck! What the fuck was that! I was shivering like a weak little human! This is a disgrace. How can i possibly explain the people what just happened if I don’t even know what happened myself. And what was that flash. This has to be the free land between the nine Lands. I must send someone to research right away! Before the others do it, especially those humans hmph! I just have to publish some propaganda to calm things down for a while or I’ll be fucked if those stupid dark elves riot again. ‘

 

After I contemplated about my options which weren’t that many, I started giving out order after order to get the people under control and allowed them to use force if they have to. I also ordered my connections in the underworld to use this distraction to get rid of some dark elves. Those stupid dark-skinned elves can’t even properly use magic and only run away like scared birds. High elves like us are naturally superior humph.

 

I started to concentrate on the task at hand.

 

“Send some expendable soldiers to investigate what happened in the free lands. And make it quick or we will have much competition and I really don’t want to hear those puny humans complain again. They are buzzing way to loud for the flies they are!” (King of elves)

 

“”“Yes, your majesty!””” (Servants)

 

 

POV: Spirit Queen

LOCATION: Fridas – Capital of the spirits

 

“So it has begun.” (Queen of spirits)

 

All my servants and close friends were standing before me. Some were shivering slightly and others were still sweating buckets. I consider myself strong but I was still shaken up by this terrifying experience. Already a month ago I got a sudden feeling that something evil is coming to this world because us spirits are connected to the world itself, but I knew that even if I tried to stop it, I couldn’t. The being that came to this world was just way too powerful so I accepted fate. But now that my predictions were proven to be true I was speechless. I was in awe. How can a single existence get so unfathomably powerful?

 

No matter how much I tried to wrap my head around it I just couldn’t imagine who was it, that possessed such terrifying power. It was simply out of scope for mortal comprehension.

 

“*sigh*… Send someone to scout the place where the flash occurred. If someone is in danger tell them to come back immediately. Our safety is more important and I don’t want to meddle in the affairs of the other incompetent races. I just hope that whatever is out there doesn’t come to us.” (Queen of spirits)

 

“””Y-yes my q-queen””” (Servants)

 

It seems that my servants detected my solemn mood so I quickly corrected my posture and sent them out.

 

‘I need a vacation ‘     

 

 

POV: King of the Beasts 

LOCATION: Palace of Beasts

 

‘How the fuck am I still alive… how. Ha…haha…hahaha!’

 

“HOLY FUCK! What the fuck was that!?” (King of beasts)

My servants were shivering in my throne room. Some from excitement and others in fright. Some were excited to fight the one that holds this massive amount of power. myself included. I am after all a lion- beastman so I feel challenged by someone powerful. I do admit that we beastmen are a pretty rowdy bunch so we didn’t really think our actions through at that time which we will deeply regret later…

 

“I don’t care what anyone says, I’m going to go in the direction of the flash to find that powerful person! I’m fucking excited. This is way better than being king HAHAHAHA!” (King of beasts)

 

I was shouting 60% because of excitement and 40% to suppress my fear that threatened to come back and make my knees go weak. Even if I don’t want to admit it, the being that just released this primordial fear is probably so powerful that I’m not even considered as a speck of dust in its presence, which frankly, terrifies me. 

 

“””HAHA yeah let’s go! PREPARE THE HORSES!””” (Servants)

 

This decision was probably one of the dumbest I made in a long time. Well no time crying over spilled milk i guess.

 

POV: Secretary of the demon king

LOCATION: Castle of the Demon King

 

“Humph! "Weak." (Demon King)

 

“But your majesty you are shivering” (Secretary)

 

“I could easily defeat it!” (Demon king)

 

How did it come to this?  just until a few years ago I served a competent ruler with unmatched strength in dark magic. He even doubled the demon territory. He never treated us like slaves or servants but as friends and he even began trading with the spirit race and beastmen race so how… HOW?? Why did He have to die due to a stupid illness and why did he have to announce such an incompetent successor.

 

The new demon king is always slacking, even now that the economy is plummeting because he stopped the trending between us and the other races. I’m just utterly confused how such a weak and incompetent boy can be allowed to sit on this sacred throne.

 

And now that a being stronger than every demon combined came to our world I can guarantee that our race is doomed if he doesn’t step down. He fucking pissed himself but is saying he can defeat it!? What the fuck I just can’t take this anymore!

 

“Ok fuck it. I RESIGN. I just can’t serve someone that thinks he is the strongest on the continent when every maid in this palace can whip the floor with you, I do not acknowledge you as my leader. I just can’t take it. How can you be so arrogant!? Did someone shove a stick up your ass or what. Just execute me or whatever but you are the doom of our race! THE PEOPLE ARE ALREADY RIOTING AGAIN! This is the fifth time in two months!” (Secretary)

 

“GUAARDS! Throw this insolent weakling into prison and let him rot there! And kill the people that are rioting. We do not need traitors in my lands” (Demon King”

 

As the guards came over they said a silent sorry and escorted me out with apologetic looks. Well he can’t stay long on this throne anymore. I will make sure of it. I can easily escape the prison and when I do I’m gonna go to the free lands and ask the being that landed on our world for help. Even if it costs me my life. It’s worth it. I will do everything to save the demon race!

 

Little did I know that asking a favor of a goddess has a steep price…

 

POV: One of the twelve elder dwarfs

LOCATION: Council room of the elders

 

“I say we stay here and try not to interact with the outside world anymore. With a being this powerful we are sure to lose everything if we fight it.” (third elder)

 

“We do not have to fight it but we could research the area and see what that bright flash was” (eleventh elder)

 

“I support this” (ninth elder)

 

“It's way too risky! Didn’t you feel this fear? I never felt something like this before. Even a dragon is nothing compared to it! I’m still shaking!” (second elder)

 

“I SAY WE ATTACK” (seventh elder)

 

“””OH Shut up you brute””” (everyone)

 

“I say we try to reason with it” (eighth elder)

 

“That will never work. Something with that aura can’t be reasoned with” (first elder)

 

“Maybe it will work! Maybe it just did this for fun! when someone is this powerful one can do anything they want so why not scare a continent for fun?” (sixth elder)

 

I didn’t know how right I was with this sentence at that time. We were arguing since the end of the spectacle half an hour ago but we were still nowhere near an agreement. Normally this would have been a discussion about taxes! not one about a world ending power that is just a couple hundred kilometers away from us!

 

“*sigh* I say we stop this discussion for now I’m tired and I’m going to sleep! Just pray to the goddess this stupid being will not wipe us out just for fun!” (tenth elder)

 

“””I agree”””(everyone)

 

As we went to sleep and our minds gradually came to rest a certain goddess together with her girlfriend was holding her stomach because she laughed for half an hour without stopping

 

POV: Alphrike Phobos

LOCATION: Newly established → The cursed lands

 

“HAHAHAHAHA…” (Alphrike)

 

“Omg this is just too funny” (Oizys)

 

I didn’t even know my stomach could hurt because of too much laughing but i just found out that it is indeed possible.

 

 After I made my flashy entrance with the fog and about 10% release of my aura I started corrupting a land as big as Luxemburg (about 2586 km^2) which will be the cursed lands and our home for the future. There I will hide many horrors together with my little kitten like slenderman which I once created and accidently released onto a planet called earth in some timeline. I don’t quite remember hehe~.

 

After i corrupted it i thought it was about time to stop my aura from flowing out so i retracted it and with a bright flash (which was totally unnecessary but cool) I created a eerie looking villa with a wonderful garden full of weird beings.

 

“This will be our wonderful new home darling~” (Alphrike)

 

“This is beautiful! No its perfect for me!” (Oizys)

 

“I love you” (Alphrike) 

 

“I love you more~” (Oizys)

 

After this we began watching the reactions of the rulers of every land around us. Well the reaction in the kingdom of the dead were boring because they are literally just zombies but the rest was hilarious! I can’t wait to play with my first little guests~.

 

‘For now. Let’s enjoy the evening with a glass of whine and my wonderful girlfriend. Tomorrow we can begin to design the plan on how to welcome our future guests. Oooh~ I have so many good ideas on how to bring them to tears! Wonderful~!’

 

*clink*

 

And so we bumped our wine glasses together and waited for our future guests to arrive. Aahh~ how I love this life of mine.
