Chapter 7: 7 – Priorities

(Shinomiya POV)

I was happy when Kazuma-kun take me along with him. it was one of my best moments with him. But then he told me that he needs to go back to school to get his bike. 

My expression turns grim when he told me those. 

I asked to Kazuma-kun "Can't you just take me with you, Kazuma-kun?'

"Because..."

"Because?'

"Because, no offense but, you have a frail body and I assume that you having a frail body will get easily tired." 

Indeed, as what he had said, I have a body thats as thin as a paper. I may look like this but I have a stamina that's on the par of athletic people. My body is trained for Kazuma-kun and kazuma-kun alone.

Kazuma-kun continued, "And um... I don't like getting people's attention because I have a cute girl like you in my side." he looks at away to me while scratching his cheek.

(intense heartbeat) 

If you say those kind of words kazuma-kun, my maiden heart can't take it kyaaa~~

I let out a giggle after he said those words to me

"Fufufu. This is what I like you Kazuma-kun"

"Did you say something, Shinomiya-san?"

"No, it's nothing hehe~"

At school

Overtime, he accepted my request to come along with him to take his bike at the school. The street we walked into has a decent amount of people and I can see people from every side were looking at us, possibly thinking that we're a couple but sad to say we aren't. Yet~

I don't want him having a relationship with other women. I want him by myself. I want him to look at me and me only. I don't mind if she talks to other women but I want him to pour all of his attention to me. Oh, dear me, my mind is getting worse. I should stop thinking those kinds of things. I just want me and Kazuma-kun live happily ever after.

A few minutes later, we have arrived at the school. Kazuma-kun went to the school's bike parking to get his bike. I waited him at the school's front gate. Although I want to come along with him but he insists that I should wait at the gate so i waited for him.

It feels eternity waiting for him. 

There are few students that are walking from the school. It's the first day of school today so I'm guesssing that students have already made bonds with their new classmates. Humans are social creatures so socializing with other people is a good thing. A while ago while we were walking from the market, we saw a couple of female students from our school who went to a karaoke. It must be nice having lots of friends. I only focus on looking at Kazuma-kun that I forgot to interact with my new classmates. I'll try to do that tomorrow.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Shinomiya-san"

As soon as I heard Kazuma-kun's voice, I immediate turn around to the direction of his voice and, there he is, holding his bike with the ingredients that we bought inside of the basket of the bike.

Now that I take a closer at him, even though he's just your average normal highschool boy but to me, he's gorgeous. With his short, silky black hair paired with his black, shiny eyes and his faint red lips, and his sturdy arms and lean body, he's the perfect guy for me.

"Um, Shinomiya-san?"

"Y-yes?"

Thanks to Kazuma-kun calling out to me, I snapped back to reality from looking too much to him. I hope he doesn't get weirded out to me because I stare at him for a long time

"I wanted to take you home but I don't know where you live so uh, can you tell me where you live?"

I went ahead and take a seat at the back of the bike of Kazuma-kun.

Kazuma-kun gave me a suprised look

"Start pedaling your bike and I'll guide you to my house"

"O-Okay..."

"Wow. So this is your house, Shinomiya-san?"

"Yes"

My house is a manor type and  is located in the hilltop and going to school by walking would take half an hour so you need to have a bike in order to reach the school. I recently transferred this place thanks to my father's help.

"Aren't you lonely living by youself in there Shinomiya-san?"

"My, my, are you concerned  Kazuma-kun?~~" I asked him in teasing way.

"Well, yeah. I'm actually concerned that you might be living alone in there"

So blunt!

"Would you like to live with me then?~~"

Kazuma-kun blushed while I said those. Hehe, it's really cute while seeing him bushing

"I-I would pass on that offer."

"Awww that's too bad. I don't really mind you living with me~~"

"Anyways, Shinomiya-san! I should really get going. My mom's gonna get mad if I would go home very late"

Kazuma-kun forcefully change the topic of him living in my place. I'm being serious about it, you know?

Now that he said it, it's getting really dark.

"Awww and I was having fun chatting with you. I'll see you tomorrow then, Kazuma-kun."

"I'll see you tomorrow, Shinomiya-san. See you!" he goes back riding his bike while waving his hand to me. I watched him afar until I can't see his back.

I want to see you again, Kazuma-kun.

 

 

Author's Note: Sorry for the crappy writing guys, I was speedrun typing this chapter lmao. School activities are piling up and today is the day that I finished all of it and I can finally write this chapter heh. Anyways, next chapter would be a little flashback of someone's POV and chapter release will be the same as usual. And as always, thank you for reading!
