"Yes, Saibus, I just came back from my mission and made you my apprentice." Saibus was surprised by the person's declaration of him. The assassin stared at Saibus for a few seconds before walking towards Saibus. She passes Saibus. Saibus followed his new mentor as he saw him walk towards what appeared to be the League exit. They walked silently for a few minutes before arriving in front of the League exit.
The mentor turned and warned Saibus, "We will go to my place. This is where you will live while you are my apprentice. But, of course, you can still use the room you have in the League." Saibus was surprised by what his mentor had just said. He would never have thought that some assassins didn't live in the League. But once you think about it, it makes sense. The assassins also want their own homes and places to rest and feel at home.
They both left the League and walked the streets of Novigrad. "We're going where," Saibus asked, not really to know, but more to make conversation and get to know his mentor.
"We are going southwest of Novigrad, towards the forest near the Loggers Hut and the Lighthouse." replied the mentor. They quickly reached the Port Gate. They went through the door and left Novigrad.
It has been a while since Saibus left Novigrad. As you drive past the tiny hamlet surrounding Novigrad, you think life can be very different in a few yards. Life in the hamlet is hard, while the people who live after the bridge live in better conditions. They follow the path that leads to the Loggers Hut. The Loggers Hut is a former farmer's place. The place has only three buildings: the farmer's house with a small enclosure, the attic, and the well. The Loggers Hut is now abandoned. A Banshee haunted the people who lived there. They paid a witcher to kill her but decided to leave anyway.
They walked through the remains of this place and entered the forest. The mentor guides Saibus, and they arrive in the middle of the woods. The mentor stopped and looked at Saibus, "So what do you think of my home?" he asked. Hearing his mentor's question, Saibus looked at the place but saw only trees and rocks, basically a classic forest. He looked at his mentor oddly before saying, "You live in the trees. It's weird, but I know more weird people."
The mentor glared at Saibus before he got enlightenment, "Sorry, it's my fault. I forgot you weren't allowed to see her." he said before waving his hand at Saibus.
Saibus was about to say something before he felt a pulse of magic and found behind his mentor a two-story house. The house is a classic house made of light wood, sakura wood. (AN: I added the sakura because I like this wood.)
"She is wonderful," Saibus said. "I know, thank you." the mentor replied smugly.
Saibus and his mentor enter the house. The interior of the house is simple and understated. The interior is very classic and looks not like a medieval house's interior but rather like its former life, of course, not all the old-world technology like television, a refrigerator, or a washing machine. But some things looked like it. A large worktop in the kitchen area has a water basin and a hose that goes into the wall. The sink is clogged so that water does not escape. Next is a large box where Saibus can see ice runes inscribed. The layout of the room is simple. At the entrance, there is a small place to put the coats. Then we enter the main room. The room has a living room, a dining room with a large dining table, an assortment of settees around a small table for chatting, and a reading corner near a fireplace.
The second part of the room is the kitchen. It has equipment like a refrigerator that works with magic and a sink connected to the outsides filled with water runes.
"You can put your things in the second bedroom upstairs. It's the backroom after you turn right." said his mentor.
Saibus nodded and headed for the stairs. He went upstairs and found himself in the middle of a hallway with the bathroom and a bedroom to the left and his bedroom and a staircase to go up to the attic. Saibus went into his room and put his things near his bed. The room is more significant than his old room. The bed is at the far right of the room, and the desk on its right is opposite the door. To the left of the door is a cabinet with a rack to put down his weapons, whether swords, axes, daggers, bows, or crossbows. Saibus put his blades and his senbons on the shelf. He put his clothes in the wardrobe.
He drew a portal to the right of the door, which is to the left of the wall. After having put the coordinates of his laboratory, the portal allows him to teleport there. He went downstairs to see his mentor in the kitchen, preparing food for tonight. This afternoon, it was the first time he saw his mentor. His mentor is someone he knows. His mentor is Council member Trinity aka Blême.
