[You are being summoned. Pease prepare to teleport.]

'It looks like my time here is probably over.' Owen got ready to get pulled away. "Sorry, I can't stay for the banquet. A nearby village is in trouble."

"We understand. May lady Oa return victories." The mayor responded immediately.

Owen was deep in thoughts as to how he ended up getting summoned. The only way for that to happen would be if someone had a talent that could forcefully soon a support. If that was the case then it must be a very high ranked talent.

"With sister Joan's talent we should be able to summon an angel. These beasts shouldn't be able to stand a chance." The village of Carrie was being besieged by a similar monster wave and the few players that recieved the place as their starting town was busy fending of the mobs.

A group of highly armored warriors were standing in a circle protecting a young woman who was constantly chanting some spell.

"I hope it's something powerful. I spent so much effort wooing that tailor girl. I'm not letting her die before I could bang her." One of the defenders said righteously.

"Shut it. Can't you see Joan casting. Don't talk shit and defend the circle." The one who looked like the leader of the party said staring at the massive elite monster that was being stormed by the remaining players.

Suddenly, a black rift appeared before them and a little girl, who wore a very light semi translucent cloth armor came out of it. Her hair was rose and the wind drifted the strays around. Her body looked as fragile as that of a five year old.

Above her head was a marker that showed who she was.

[OA L???
Farmhand]

???

Suddenly Joan fell over with her mana almost ran out.

"Seriously, what is this shit?" One of the vulgar ones cured looking at the 'saviour' that suddenly appeared.

The fragile girl looked around and soon found the woman who had summoned her almost out of breath and muttered "Gale Step. Mana Shield."

"Were you the one who summoned me?" Once ready Owen asked Joan who had slowly stood up.

"Yes. Sorry to bother you." Joan was hesitating looking at the girl before her. 'Didnt the talent say the  strongest in the area? Why is there a little girl here?' She couldn't bring herself to ask for her help. "Stay behind the line. Sorry for dragging you here."

"Ok." Owen looked at Joan and casted a slow heal. She started recovering her stamina an mana instantly surprising her.

"You are a mage?" Joan was surprised seeing the powerful healing spell. 'But didn't the class say she was a farm hand.'

"Not exactly. My magic comes from my race. Well, do you want me to kill these things? If you don't ask me to do it, I can't kill them." Owen didn't want the girl to unsummon him. That could result in him loosing the quest.

"Aren't you a mage? Can you beat that thing? I don't want you getting hurt."

"Piece of cake. So, do I go?"

"Please help us."

Owen looked towards the front of the village where multiple players were defending again an elite beast and walked towards it. He wasn't bothered with a bunch of players dying.

"Step aside." Owen shouted but no one listen to him as they were busy defending. "Alright then, Earth Spike."

Joan and her friends stared as they saw the a basic earth spike that was a hundred times thicker than the ones they had seen penetrate the thick hide of the nether beast ripping a few players along the way. The fight took a momentary pause as both the beasts and the men stared at the ridiculous high damage floated above the now shredded beast.

[Your Earth Magic Path leveled up.]

With the main leader gone, the remaining beasts were quickly handled by the palyers and soon the seige was over.

"I'm sorry I doubted you." Joan said with her head bowed.

The area was cleared and there was nothing else to attack around.

Seeing that the threat was finally diffused, the village leader came out immediately started praising the players.

The remaining villagers who had taken shelter inside the village shelter all slowly came out one after the other.

"It looks like my job is done. If there is nothing remaining then can you release me, Joan?" Owen looked at the girl that was still in a haze. The damage that Owen did was something that she had never done in the previous game.

Who said the new game was just a reskin? Can you show me such a powerful NPC from there?

Seeing the powerful NPC that she had summoned, Joan was finally thrilled.

'If I don't release it, then I can keep her with me right? The summon should belong to the summoner, right?'

As she was pondering, the village chief suddenly took out a scroll and handed it over to Joan. As her summon, whatever Owen did was attributed towards Joan's credit.

Seeing the familiar village order, Owen was a little surprised.

'If the villagers gave out the orders right from the start, didn't that mean I could also get the scroll for Naglorent? Did the mayor trick me?' Thinking back, he didn't give the mayor enough time as he was forced to come to Carrie and help. Besides considering his quest, he wasn't in a position to build a town at the moment.

"Can you stay for a bit longer, at least till the village order is secured?" Joan asked Owen politely.

With Owen by her side, she shouldn't have any issue with the other players and guilds coveting the village order. It took a total of 10 minutes to completely gain ownership of the place. Once a new village chief was ordained, they recieved a cooldown of 1 week to ensure that they can develop the place.

"Alright. I have some spare time." Owen wasn't being modest. Besides his special quest had yet to complete is there was definitely some danger lurking around.

There was definitely something going on. He had already protected the village from the beasts. He had also scarf all the villagers he could. So why was the quest still not complete?

The village order appearing at this early in the game was even more bizarre. As his thoughts kept spinning, he recognised something. There were more than 24 NPCs around him. A lot more.

'Are they invaders?'

Silently, Owen casted an identity.

[Nether shapeshifter L20
Nether shadow L15
Nether shadow L15
Nether shadow archer L18]

There were too many nether humanoids around the place. To be precise, they were surrounded.

And to make matters worse, Owen didn't know a single area spell, oh wait. The earth magic path unlocked something new. Just in time.
