Battle Academy’s Cannon Fodder

It was just a few days since the ‘summoning incident’. The virus which had came from outside the bounds of human knowledge wasn’t biological. Thus confirming the existence of these tiny ‘machines’.

The nanotechnology that was infecting people and turning them into violent ‘Demons’ was hard to reverse engineer, but a solution had been found through testing. Thus, the first generation of ‘Demon Hunters’ were born through hellfire.

Time passed, and a new institution was built to train rookies. The ‘Second Generation’ bested the first.

Daniel Kilaggin watched these 2nd Gen rookies from the camera room. His job merely a security guard.

He had no choice but to protect these foolish students. Many infighting while the world is at stake.

Moreover, they seemed to be picking on an F Rank Gift User, an ‘Inept’. Despite him proving himself.

What was a cannon fodder to do when the heroes weren’t taking the enemies of humanity seriously?
