Chapter 15: X Factor

Olivia had always been a little insecure, especially when it came to her relationship with Emily. So, when she saw Emily talking to her ex-girlfriend at the coffee shop, her stomach dropped and her heart began to race.

She tried not to let it show, but she couldn't help feeling a little jealous. It wasn't that she thought Emily would cheat on her or anything, but she couldn't help feeling a little threatened.

After Emily finished talking with her ex-girlfriend and said goodbye, she came over to Olivia and noticed the tension in her face.

"Is everything okay, babe?" Emily asked.

Olivia hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I'm fine, it's just...I saw you talking to your ex and it made me feel a little insecure, I guess."

Emily took Olivia's hand and gave it a squeeze. "You don't have to worry about her, Liv. We're just friends now, and I love you. You're the one I want to be with."

Olivia felt a little better after hearing that, but she still couldn't shake the feeling that Emily's ex-girlfriend might be a threat to their relationship. She didn't want to seem clingy or paranoid, but she also didn't want to lose Emily.

The next day, Emily had a surprise for Olivia. She took her to a beautiful park that was completely empty and sat her down on a blanket. Emily pulled out a guitar and began to play a song that she had written just for Olivia.

As Emily sang, Olivia felt tears rolling down her face. She realized that she had been silly to feel so insecure and that Emily loved her more than anything in the world.

When the song ended, Emily put down her guitar and took Olivia's hand. "I love you so much, Liv. You don't ever have to worry about me leaving you for anyone else."

Olivia smiled through her tears and pulled Emily in for a kiss. They lay down on the blanket together, holding each other close, feeling closer and more connected than ever before.
