Chapter 14: Buying information for the first time

A few minutes later he had arrived a few meters in front of the cave and saw Faye standing there and looking around as if searching for something, but it seemed as if Faye did not dare to leave the cave. 

'Is she looking for me?' Thiago thought inwardly while observing Faye intently.

Seeing that Faye was still looking around after a few seconds, he stepped out of the tree's cover, where he had been observing Faye from just now and strolled towards her.

Hearing steps suddenly approaching her, Faye turned towards the direction from where she had heard the sound and then saw Thiago walking towards her.

The little tiger could not speak yet, but it could be seen from Faye's posture, that she was happy to see Thiago. Before Thiago could make another step forward, the little tiger suddenly pounced on him, but due to the height difference between the two of them, it could only she could only reach up to his torso., which made this scene look rather funny.

Thiago did not know at this moment whether this was some type of custom that tigers would usually do when they greeted each other after not seeing one another for a short time, but he did not care much, because it did him no harm anyways, so he would just let Faye do that if she wanted.

After a few seconds Faye landed on the floor again and Theo said to her: " I'm back now, so let's go back into the cave, where I will also give you something to eat."

It was unknown whether Faye could understand his words or if she just followed him back into the cave, because he went into the cave, anyways Thiago would be able to find this out if he got some information about this world and how the various realms were differentiated.

Sitting back on the rocky stone floor of the cave, Thiago was already sure to move out as soon as possible. Seeing that Faye looked at him with pleading eyes, Thiago instantly knew that she wanted to have some food that he had just promised to give her at the entrance to the cave regardless of whether she understood or not, so Thiago opened entered his System shop again. 

But before he bought something he went to a deeper part in the cave, so that Faye would not see how some items suddenly appeared in front of him. Even though Faye was absolutely no enemy now, it can never hurt to be too careful Thiago thought. And the system was his biggest secret so he did not want for anyone to know of it, since it could cause him unimaginable harm, were the secrets of it somehow leaked. 

Returning his attention back to the [System Shop] after seeing that Faye was not near him and could not see what he was doing he quickly searched for "steak" in the [General Search] bar just like the last time he bought something for Faye.

[Will increase the mana for everybody under the student realm]

Having made a quick decision, he bought the same mana imbued steak as the last time, since it was really cheap for his current amount of points and it would be completely enough for Faye to eat this.

After he selected the item with his mind, it once again promptly appeared Infront of him as if coming out of nowhere.

Catching the steak with his maw he once again thought about how much he desired a human form, because a human from was way more convenient, just looking at this situation for example, a human could just pick the steak up with his hands and carry it comfortably and in contrast Thiago had to carry it with his maw. Sadly, he did not know yet when or if he could even transform into a human from in the future. Clearing his mind of those thoughts, he brought the steak in front of Faye who looked at him as if saying:" Don't you want something as well?" 

Capturing her meaning, he shook his head and explained to her:" I have already eaten when I was out hunting before so you can eat with peace of mind."

As if understanding him Faye turned her gaze back to the steak and began to feast upon it.

Watching her for a few short seconds with an almost unnoticeable smile at the corner of his mouth he turned back and walked back to the deeper part of the cave where he also had been practicing the day before.

Lying down on the stony floor, he thought 'open System Shop' in his mind and immediately the panel with the system shop appeared in front of him again.

This time he had two main goals, the first one was to look if it was possible to buy information about this world in the [System Shop] and the second was to look for better and more high-level skills, because now that he was already at the 4th Tier of the Student realm the basic animalistic skills were not of that much use anymore.

Before he could even input his search into the search bar the System had already opened another window after he had thought of buying information a few seconds prior.

"Wow!" Thiago exclaimed after seeing this window suddenly pop up and reading through the contents of them.

'It seems that the Shop for information and items are categorized as two different things and are separated into two. Bu this is good, that makes it more convenient, since I have to only think about buying information and it will open this [Advanced search engine: Information].' Thiago thought a few seconds later.

'Then let's search for Information that I currently need.' He quickly decided and thought: 'I want some general information about the world I currently reside in.'

Promptly the search results were placed in front of him.

Seeing the rapid increase in price as the information only got a little bit more detailed, Thiago decided to first buy the [slightly more detailed basic Infromation about the current world], since it was the best option for him at the moment in his opinion.

And he would still have 2095 points left for some new skills he wanted to buy, so it was a bearable expense for him.

Having decided, he directly bought this Informationa and immediately felt an influx of information appear in his mind, but it did not hurt him, it was just a slightly weird feeling. A few seconds this feeling was gone again and Thiago focused on the contents of information he had just received.

"Wow! This world is really more interesting than I thought." He slightly exclaimed after a preliminary scan through the information.

The better understand his reaction, we have to take a look at the information he had just received.

In the information many general things about this world were explained, so let's start with the moist basic thing, the name of this world.

The world Thiago was currently in was called "Red Star" by most of its inhabitants and the name came about because many people in ancient times thought that the planet had a slight red glow at night.

Nobody knew if it was true or not, but this is how the name came about and the people did not bother to change it anymore after such a long time of it being in use.

Next came the sheer size of this world, Red Star was about five hundred times as big as Thiago's home planet and therefore also had an unimaginable number of inhabitants.

This part of information had truly deeply shocked Thiago, because it was incomprehensible how this planet was so many times bigger that his home planet earth and yet earth had also been pretty big in his cognition.
