Chapter 27: Great restock of System points

No, this rabeer had been transported here by Faye herself.

How had she done that, you may ask, well, the answer is rather plain and simple, she had captured it and brought it here. 

And the reason she had been able to capture a rabeer who only lived in the outskirts of the forest, while she herself currently resided somewhere in the middle between the core of the forest and the outskirts, was that she had gone looking for food after Thiago had not left something for her to eat, before he had left the cave.

So being famished as she was, she daringly and completely oblivious to the dangers wandered off into the forest and only due to lucky circumstances did she not attract the attention of any beast that was above the 1st Tier of the Novice realm, which basically included almost all the beasts living inside this forest.

If she hadn't been that lucky she would surely not have survived, owing to the fact that she could have been gobbled up for lunch by basically every passing beast, since almost every beast in this forest had a strength above that of Hers.

Well and continuing this small journey of hers, she marched intentionally or unintentionally, who knows, towards the habitat of the Rabeers, where she than had been lucky again for just meeting this 1st Tier of the Novice realm Rabeer that she had been able to straight away overwhelm it due to her sinking her razor sharp canine teeth into its neck and making it unable to fight back.

At this point we can clearly notice her inborn fighting talent or at least her good instincts, that had made it possible for her to win this fight so quickly.

Well, another important factor was obviously that she had attacked out of an ambush and the Rabeer had had basically no chance to react fast enough to counter or defend himself against her insidious attack.

Subsequently to her defeating the unlucky Rabeer, she sauntered back to the cave in a merry mood after finally having found something to eat.

Back in the cave she had just bitten into the Rabeer, which made it cry out in agony and then we had already arrived back to the present point of time, where Thiago would storm into the cave after hearing this cry of pain, thinking the cry was Faye's.

Thiago who had already calmed down and put the question of why a rabeer would be appearing here, to the back of his mind, spoke at this moment: "I am back, sorry I forgot to leave you something to eat, but it seems that you somehow got some meat by yourself."

Hearing Thiago's voice, Faye had a look that strongly resembled a human's with the meaning of "I will not forgive you for this" on her face after he mentioned his forgetting of leaving her some food, before he had left the cave. 

"Haha, you look really funny like this." Thiago laughed after noticing her hilarious looking expression.

You might think that beast cannot make the same expressions as humans, which is essentially not a false statement per se, but intelligent beasts can still make some expressions which are also recognizable due to their high control of their body, than normal animals, but they are not so easy to see because the face is completely different from human ones.

Now seeing that Faye was ignoring him and resuming with her meal, Thiago silently stepped to his part of the cave where he usually did everything like cultivating, checking his system and naturally sleep.

Speaking of sleep, in actuality Thiago could stay many days without sleeping with his current realm, if he would want so, but he still preferred the tranquility and peace he felt when sleeping so he had not yet abandoned sleeping but what he had done was, that he had shortened the time he would sleep every day because in some perspective sleeping if you didn't need to do so was also a waste of time in which you could do many more practical things like cultivating or other important things. 

Having arrived at his usual spot in the cave, he lied down on the stony floor and full of anticipation uttered 'Status' in his mind and at once his Status was displayed in front of him.

"Haha, yeah! I actually have gotten so many points from the goblin village. I would have expected them to be less, to be honest, but its's just great like that, Haha." exclaimed Thiago enthusiastically after seeing the sky-high number of points that topped fifty thousand.

Remembering the [Small inner world (upgradeable)] which he had seen some time ago in the [System Shop], he realized that he actually would have enough points to buy it, In view of the fact that the inner world was only prized at 45.000 [System points] whereas he had now over fifty thousand of them.

It was an indescribable feeling for him at the moment, owing to the fact that he had previously thought that it would take him a long time to earn those 45.000 points subsequently to seeing this item in the [System Shop], and now that he had suddenly achieved said feat, it was quite an exhilarating as well as a weird feeling.

Nevertheless he would not directly buy the inner world just yet, because he first wanted to figure out if he needed those points for something at the moment, and only if he wouldn't need them, would he decide to buy the inner world.

Now after having thoroughly talked about his system points, he took a look at his skills that had also undergone some changes.

All the skills he had used in the previous battle against the goblins had been leveled up, especially his newly bought skills, were directly levelled up multiple levels, due to their frequent utilization by him in the fight against the kobolds.

These skill level ups were pretty nice and all but what he cared more about was that his < Black Hole > skill had actually been upgraded to level three, probably because he had devoured so many corpses in the goblin village, that it was enough for the advancement.

Clicking on the < Black Hole > skill to see more details, the only thing he noticed, that had changed at the moment was the diameter of the black hole, but that didn't disappoint him in the least bit, because every single upgrade of the <Black Hole > no matter how small it may be was actually a great increase in the skill's overall strength.

This was because this skill was already completely overpowered form the beginning and every upgrade would just make it even more overpowered, if this is understandable.

Now having looked through everything in his Status, Thiago thought of any reason he would need System points for, and if he did not find any he would be buying the inner world which was truly practical.
