Jake skimmed the board, looking for some easy tasks. Getting citizenship was probably his first priority so he could return at any time without hassle, but some money was always a plus. After all, he couldn’t live off Alea’s earnings forever.
The best quest would be to defeat slimes or something since he could kill them with cock slam, but why would anyone request that? This was no longer a game world; these commissions were made by people and not randomly generated by a computer.
“New around here?” sounded a somewhat bright voice beside him. It was a relatively short boy with golden hair dressed in loose exotic attire. Oddly enough, he held to support himself a cane and looked sleep-deprived with his dark eye circles.
“How’d you know?” Jake asked, tilting his head. He began to wonder if the boy didn’t sleep well.
“Newcomers always have that look when they glance at the commission board,” he answered, scratching his hair.
“Is that so?”
He yawned, nearly falling asleep, and shook his head to wake up properly. “Wanna come with us? We’re a party just short of a member.”
“Oh, umm… No thanks,” he answered. There was nothing he could do in battle without pulling his cock out. For now, he had to go solo.
The boy leaned forward, bringing his mouth close to Jake’s ear, before whispering in a hushed tone. “You’d better hide that aura of yours, Lust.”
Jake’s face shifted to one of unease as creases appeared on his brow, and his eyes darted back and forth. “How do you know about Lust? And what’s with my aura? I can’t even feel it myself.”
“Then, I suggest you come with me,” he said in a deadpan tone. “I never expected Lust to so conveniently walk into my territory. Well, I guess luck truly balances out over time….”
Jake followed him close behind, almost bumping into him as he ambled so clumsily. Walking in between the receptionists, there stood a door leading to a room beneath the staircase to floor two.
The boy lightly tapped on the door with his cane twice, and a butler dressed in a suit opened.
“Tadaaa… this is our room,” he introduced, pointing his arms at the interior.
Entering the private guild room, Jake took in the sophisticated décor. The walls were adorned with antique patterns, imparting a sense of history and prestige. At the center of the room stood a conference table, surrounded by a few plush seats. Despite the stately appearance, the room felt welcoming, as if it were meant for the gathering of like-minded individuals.
There were two other people besides the mysterious boy and the butler. One was a hooded girl dressed in simple clothes. She carried a colossal bow on her back that Jake didn’t recognize from the original game. It was also what made her stand out, as he couldn’t see much beneath her mundane hood.

On the contrary, the other person was an iron juggernaut clad in darkish armor with streaks of a purple haze running through his armor. He wielded a double-sided cleaver axe nearly the size of Jake himself.
“Hey, Tittarelah, you’re leaving a dent on the floor with your axe,” said the boy. “Do you have the money to repear that?”
Tittarelah lifted his axe from the ground. “I apologize slo—I mean sorry, Arthur.” His luscious voice sounded almost artificial and had essentially created its own echo through his armor.
The boy, who he called Arthur, sighed. “Don’t worry. This guy is like me,” he said, pointing at Jake. “Let me properly introduce myself. I’m Sloth—one of the seven deadly sins like you, Lust.”
“Seven deadly sins?”
“Haven’t you heard of them?” Arthur sat down next to Tittarelah. “You know, Lust, Sloth, Envy, Wrath etc….”
“Now that you mention their names, I do recall hearing about it, but I have no idea what they mean,” Jake answered. There wasn’t anything similar to the seven deadly sins in Bladecraft, but he did read about them somewhere during his religion class on earth.
“So, you don’t even know how this world was created?”
“Wasn’t it something along the lines of a celestial figure that got bored and decided to split himself in two?” Jake said. He simply went off Bladecraft lore, but it could’ve changed now.
“Exactly,” Arthur replied. “One of them grew into the physical incarnation of life and death itself, whereas the other became the devil.”
“And they went to clash with each other for millenia, which created the world as a result, right?” Jake added.
“You’re correct,” he nodded.
Hearing the information, Jake let out a sigh of relief as the lore hadn’t altered much. “But then, what’s a deadly sin?”
“You see… every battle has to end eventually. No one knows the victor, but Life and Death had vanished, while the devil split himself further into seven parts.” He directed his glance at Jake. “I’m sure you can figure out what that means.”
