Kaisel stared at the white transparent liquid that he had in a petri dish. The liquid looked like water and looked completely harmless, but that was until he dropped one drop of blood in it. Like a hungry predator, previously harmless liquid aggressively started attacking the drop of blood and within seconds the drop of blood was no more. Now only the liquid remained.
No matter how many times I see it, it never fails to amaze me. He then picked up the petri dish and weighed the liquid. The whole purpose of the experiment was to find out how much liquid was used to dissolve a drop of blood.
After noting down his observation in a notebook, he was done for today, so he sat back on his chair and sighed from exhaustion. His body was in desperate need of sleep, but he could not stop, at least not now when he knew that he was too close to his goal.
In a few weeks, House Geon would be eradicated, and with their fall, the Ulaspas family will rise. And soon this whole island nation would be under my control…
KNOCK KNOCK
He then turned towards the door of his room and sensed a maid standing outside. What a pleasant surprise. He had figured that after slaughtering those mortal maids, most of the people that he had spared would show reservation while approaching him as he wanted. But it seems he was wrong.
“Come in.” The maid pushed the door open and approached him, he could feel as well as see that she was very tense at the moment. Also, she had a white color envelope in her hands. She then quickly passed him the envelope and got out of there as soon as her old legs could carry her.
Who is Adui Hampshire? And how does he know me, he thought. The letter was simple and didn't have any trace of magic on it. After inspecting it thoroughly, he finally opened it and he was then greeted with a small piece of parchment.
To,
Kaisel Ulaspas
Milord,
It is with great happiness that I want to inform you that I have successfully accomplished the task that you have given me. By the time you would be reading this letter, I have successfully acquired the disputed land.
I have acquired the deed of the land from both Baron Geon as well as Baron Hubert with the cost of 600 joules of mana stones. As we possess the deed from both the Barons no one could question our ownership of the land.
Currently, I am staying in Huston and would go tomorrow to survey the land where the majestic Mage tower would be built. And I would probably return back to Laverdale in a week or so. If you have any message or another task for me, I will be happy to serve you again milord.
Sincerely
Adui Hampshire.
P.S.- I will only stay in the Huston for a day or two. Please send any requests that you have within these two upcoming days.
Oh… Fuck. Kaisel then carefully folded the parchment back into the envelope. He now knows who this Adui was. After meeting with the guy, he could have never guessed that he would be able to successfully acquire the land for them.
This is not good, it could complicate the plans that the girls made. He then pushed himself up on his feet. “Emergency meeting. Everyone gather around.” He mumbled and then went outside his office.
After exiting the room, he made his way toward the sitting area where 4 women were already seated and were waiting for him. Like a council of a king's court, every woman was sitting in a designated place based on their ranking in the family.
Gizelle was sitting farthest from the main seat, Sara who looked bored had taken the third seat, and her twin Patrica whose body was packed with muscles and scars was sitting in the second seat. By the main seat was Gloria, a pale white beauty with pointed ears…
“We might have a problem,” Kaisel said after taking the main seat. Sara, the only naked woman amongst all the other women groaned with frustration. “What is it this time?”
“Adui Hampshire.” His words made the youngest as well as the newest member, Gizelle looked quite surprised. “Him? Why? What did he do?” It was then Sara chimed in. “Wait who is this ‘Ado’ guy?”
“Remember the crippled guy that we met Sara, he is Adui Hampshire.”
“Oh… That guy? He was able to pull that off? And with only 5000 joules of mana stones? That's quite impressive.” She was genuinely impressed by the man’s skills as he was able to pull it off with that meager amount of mana stones. But hearing the number of mana stones, Gizelle was shocked.
“Master, you gave him 5000 joules of mana stones?”
“Yes. But I didn't think that he would be able to negotiate the land with only that amount of money.” hearing his point, Gizelle started massaging her head.
“Master…” she then sighed and continued. “You have to understand something…That amount may not seem as much in your eyes. But for the people of this Island, that amount is too much. Even the royal family do not possess that many mana stones.” Sara turned towards Gizelle and glared at her. “Don't you blame everything on Master. You are the one who had the brilliant idea of sending that man there.”
“I am not blaming him. I was pointing out his mistake.” Hearing her, Patrica raised her voice. “His Mistake? The only mistake he made in his life was the day when he made you join our family, Gizelle. It was your idea. You are the one who wanted to test the waters before sending the infantry. Now, look at what you have done. Your plan backfired.”
Fuming with rage, Gizelle gave her an angry look and then started yelling. “If you think that you are so smart Patrica then why didn't you point out this simple mistake when I was telling y’all about my plan?” It was then Sara chimed in. “Don't you dare to talk to my sister that way. I skin you alive you slut!”
“Says the woman that sleeps around with every man that crosses her eyes.” The sarcastic comment of the Gizelle made both Sara and Patrica jump on their feet. Then both the sisters started yelling at Gizelle and she also started yelling back. While on the other hand Gloria and Kaisel sat there with dignity looking at the bickering members of their court.
As the fight started heating up, Gloria could not stay still anymore. “SILENCE!” Her one word was more than enough to make all the women stop in their tracks. “Sit down. We have much to discuss.”

Her action made Kaisel turn toward her and passed her a smile. “Thank you, Gloria.” His smile then vanished as he looked at the other three girls. “The plan that you three proposed is ruined. What would you guys do next?”
“I have no idea,” Sara said while shaking her head, Patrica then started sharing her thoughts. “Originally we were planning to destroy that Geon household so that we establish Ulaspas household from its ashes. And then slowly make our way to the top. But now as the conflict between the two houses is at a stalemate, I think we should forget about it. If we try to do anything in their area then it could gather the attention of people from the top.”
With an epiphany, Gizelled added, “Then, we could try targeting the royal family directly.”. With a sigh, Sara looked at her with pity. “It seemed like the great Tibba gave you a great set of big breasts but he failed to give you brains… If we attack then there is a chance that they could contact the empire and tell them about us. And if you don't remember, it is precisely why we planned to form a house first and then take over the throne. That way if empire hears about us, then they would brush it aside as it would be considered an inside matter.”
“I know that! Jog your memory slut. I was the one who suggested we move this way and slowly carve our way to the top. But as now that is no longer an option, I think we should play this game more aggressively. It would be foolish to wait for any other opportunity to come by.” Hearing her remarks Patrica nodded her head. “The big boob bimbo is right. We should play it more aggressively.”
“Patrica are you out of your mind? You do understand what this woman is trying to do right? Taking over the kingdom aggressively would not only gather the attention of neighboring kingdoms but also of the empire.” Patrica’s expression didn't change as she heard Sara’s remarks. Seeing no change, Sara understood that her sister had made her decision and she would not change it. So she turned to the person who governs them all.
“Master, tell these fools that it is suicide. One simple call or one simple inquiry to the empire by the royal family could practically dig our graves.” Kaisel then leaned forward and started rubbing his hands. It is only after thinking for a minute did he decide what to do next.
“That crippled man had derailed our plans. But we still have a chance. I agree with Gizelle that waiting further would be foolish. Also if I remember correctly then her fame had been growing recently in the capital as she had completed her first ring recently. Use that. Get close to the royal family and pick a target.” All three of them nodded their heads after hearing his command. While Gloria on the other hand looked at him with concern.
“You sure that you want to intervene?” Kaisel smiled at her concern. “I didn't want to. But these three would need my help in securing the target…” he then turned towards the girls. “But let me make myself very clear. I will only use my magic against one target. And then I am out. So make sure that you choose the right guy.” Then all three women simultaneously said, “Yes master.”
“Then dismiss.” Then all three of them left and only Gloria and Kaisel stayed behind.
Gloria then got from her seat and came and sat on Kaisel’s lap. “Should I work on a backup plan?” he then asked her passionately “You have something planned?”
“I might have.” his mouth then moved closer to her and started devouring her luscious lips. His hands grabbed her waist and pinned her down on the sofa.
“Do what you have to do.”

The small pathway to the Rose Valley was very moist and muddy, with every step Adui could feel the weight of his shoes increase as a small portion of mud would stick to it. It was a very silent night with the moon being the only source of light, and it was doing a pretty decent job illuminating the green forest all around him.
After finishing getting the deed of the land from both Baron Hubert and Geon, he made his way to a small village near the Rose Valley. He had the intention to travel to this valley and see for himself what it had to offer.
His journey to the village was very difficult especially when he had ditched Ben back in Huston, but all the extra work would be worth it if he could get his hands on inheritance if it exists.
His destination was the center of a basin formed by the formation of three mountains. It sounded simple at first, but it was not. The walk from the village to the basin was very difficult as there was a lot of climbing and descending involved. For a cripple like him, it was pretty dangerous as well as a tiring task.
And as there were no big pathways, he had to travel on his foot and leave his horse behind...
Should I be worried? It is too damn fucking quiet out here. Since he had started descending down the basin, he had not heard the echoes of any animal. He had heard from the villagers that the forest in the basin is full of wildlife and the roars of mountain lions and howls of wolves echo all night in the basin.
He had prepared himself for anything that this basin might throw at him, but the silence of the basin was giving him another message.
As the villagers had told him, as he got to the center of the basin, the canopy of trees started blocking the moonlight. Before heading any further, he went off the trail to find a piece of wood and in return able to find a long stick.
He didn't want to dirty his cane any further, so he threw it inside the spatial bad that he got from Kaisel. From the same bag then he fished out a small bottle of sticky green glob. After smearing the green glob at one of the ends of the stick, he stored it right back inside.
He then folded his long sleeve up and raised his hands, his will then made mana inside his body to go to his arm. Ignite, he mumbled. A bright red color flame covered his whole palm, the flame didn't hurt his plam even though one could cook food on those flames. He then ignited the green stuff with the flame...
Now with a torch in his hands, he made his way deeper into the basin. Some of the villagers had told him that the ruins that he was looking for would be at the dead center of the basin. Soon he started seeing moss-covered poles made of granite, the poles looked very ancient and had a lantern-like thing mounted on them. Seeing those moss-covered poles a smile bloomed on his face as he realized that he was getting closer to his destination.
After a 10 min walk, he was finally able to reach the ruins that the villagers mentioned. These ruins were spread across a huge area, most of the walls of Ulaspas manor that used to stood there had long fallen on the ground, there were some that were still standing tall, but they looked quite fragile.
The ruin was mostly covered in moss and weeds, which made it quite hard for him to imagine what kind of place this used to be, it is only after looking around the place did he found something very interesting. In the dead center of the ruins was a big place that was as big as a ballroom. The interesting part about the room was that weeds and mosses around the room were clean, and the floor of the room was visible.
Exquisitically designed granite tiles were spread all across the floor. In the outer parts, every tile had some design on them, and together as a group, those tiles were making a very beautiful pattern on the floor. The inner part or the center of the room was covered with much smaller tiles of different colors compared to the outer parts, together they were making an image of a very beautiful flower.
It was a red flower with broad leaves and a stem full of thorns. He did not know much about flowers but he couldn't deny it, this is really one of the most beautiful flowers that he had ever seen in his life.
Wait a fucking minute. This floor… is too fucking clean compared to the other room’s floors. He then knelt down on the ground and swiped his finger on the floor. No dust got stuck to his fingers.
Either this floor is magical and that is why it is so clean. Or someone very recently cleaned this floor. It was then he heard the cracking sound of dried twigs from behind. He turned around, only to be face to face with a black hooded figure with red glowing eyes.
