"God, Aries. This is too fast!" Lyra exclaimed before she sighed while looking at her.

Aries replied with a chuckle. "I know right…"

"Lyra, our girl is finally going to remove her single status. We should be happy for her. And I'm glad that Kairi has accepted your feelings, Aries." Perseus smiled.

Currently, she and Lyra were helping Aries wear her wedding dress. After all, they don't want the maids to do it since before, Aries did help them with their wedding dress. They also choose which accessories and make-up that suit her.

"Aries, are you in here?" Someone suddenly knocks on the door.

"I'll go get it." Lyra quickly went to the door and opened it.

"Mama! Papa!" Aries shouts in happiness to see her parents.

Her parents walked to her quickly because they didn't want her to walk to them in her not ready makeup face.

"Aries dear, you shocked mama and papa with this wedding! How could you telepathy us just two hours ago to let us get ready to come here?! You should be glad that we are just living in the next city or we would not know how to come here." Aries' mother scolds her but still goes to hug her and kiss her cheeks.

"You look gorgeous, dear." She looked at her daughter with happiness and sadness.

She was happy for her to finally get married but also sad because of her duty as one of the Bright Star users. She and her husband already knew what transpired around and they have always prayed for their daughter's safety.

"Thank you, mama… And thank you, papa, for coming." Aries wanted to cry.

She missed them a lot but could not visit them recently. She feared for their life if they got involved with their enemies. She hugged them both after finishing her light makeup by Perseus. She didn't need to adjust more since Lyra and Perseus felt her face was already beautiful.

"Where's the groom? I need to see him." Aries' father asked.

"The groom is in the next room opposite this," Lyra told him.

Aries' father was surprised. "So close?!"

Still, he went for a look. Actually, he didn't know the groom's identity. Aries didn't want to tell him or his wife so they could only rush here in fear that Aries' future husband would be someone they dislike.

After all, they did get lots of marriage proposals for her from many people but they refused them all. They think it was not the right time yet. But who could have thought that their daughter would shockingly decide for herself?

After he knocks on the opposite door, someone opens them from inside.

"Dark Lordany?!" Aries' father gasped in shock after seeing Rafael.

"Aries?! Wait, that still sounds awful on my tongue. And you are no longer using that name anyway." Rafael smirks.

"It's Jaaq." Aries' father gritted his teeth in anger. "Why the hell are you here?!"

"Oh, come on, Jaaq. Didn't you know your daughter is marrying my son?" Rafael raised one eyebrow at him.

"What?!" Jaaq was shocked once again.

"Err, Sir Rafael, can you end their punishment yet? At least for Kairi since he needs to get ready soon." Dark Kurumi asked Rafael.

He was inside and was having the surprise of his life. It was after seeing Rafael's pissed expression before. Well… Kairi and Rafiz just brought him here from Ryam Town after getting a quick beating by their father.

Kironinx healed them back but… Rafael continued to punish them by forcing them to sit on their knees with a big heavy stone on it. Dark Kurumi guessed Rafael was really worried about his sons after not getting any news from them. Three years may seem short but it was longer for someone who cares.

"Yes, dad! Let Kairi get ready already!" Rafiz yelled from somewhere inside the room.

Rafael glared at him and Jaaq finally saw two young men far into the room near an open floor window.

"What's going on here?" Jaaq asks Dark Kurumi.

The latter has put his power emblem inside his clothes so Jaaq doesn't know his identity.

"Come inside, sir. And you can see their dispute." Dark Kurumi was too lazy to explain.

He was there because he has a blood relationship with Kairi. So to say, he was the groom's family member and should be there to see Kairi getting ready. Their friends had already been guided by the servants to the wedding hall.

"Uncle Jaaq, you're here!" Another person was also in the room and he was unrelated to them.

However, he was Aries' childhood best friend.

"Angelote?!" Jaaq said his name. "When did you come here?"

"About two or three days ago. I guess you have to rush here with Aunty Lyana after knowing it too, huh?" Angelote chuckled.

Jaaq nodded and walked to stand beside him. He faced the quarrel that happened between Rafiz and Rafael. As for Kairi who was beside Rafiz, he just sighed. When he noticed Jaaq staring, he gave him an awkward smile.

"I assume these two are his sons but I thought he only had one?" Jaaq was confused.

"I was told the same but the groom was adopted," Angelote answered while he pointed his chin at Kairi.

Jaaq's eyes twitched. He could see which one was Rafael's real son but he was astonished that Rafael would adopt someone's son and care for them as his own.

"Is he one of the Bright Star users?"

"Err, this… This is really hard to tell…" Angelote starts to sweat.

He actually just got the information from Aries on Kairi's identity. Now, how should he tell Jaaq that her daughter was going to marry Syarantonia's king and leader of the Bright Star?

His hands itched to palm himself because Kairi's good image in front of Jaaq was also destroyed by Rafael.

"Enough! Formal Dark Lordany, are you going to make my daughter wait for her groom? If you are, I'm going to fight with you." Jaaq finally can't stand it anymore after ten minutes of standing there.

Rafael turned his head to him. He went silent for a moment before he sighed. He realised what he had done. But, Jaaq's sentences make him feel a little glad that he was still considering Kairi and Aries' wedding.

"Kairi, go get ready. Rafiz, you stay where you are!"

Rafiz groans but he still obeys. He didn't want to waste more time for Kairi to get ready. Kironinx from his bracelet's mark helps to remove the stone on Kairi's legs and heal his fatigue.

"I'll help."

Angelote volunteers himself while walking to Kairi and Dark Kurumi, who was helping Kairi get on his wedding attire. It has complex buttons and styles. When Kairi removed his shirt, Angelote's eyes widened after seeing a deep bite mark on his neck. He frowned because he could feel deep darkness from it.

"What the hell?! Where did he get this dark curse?!" He thought in silence.

"Please don't tell anyone." Dark Kurumi told him fast while fasting a mafela around Kairi's neck to hide the bite mark.

"Where did you get it?" Angelote still asked but he didn't indicate what thing he was asking.

Kairi glances at him. "Last war. Revioryx."

Two short sentences. They were enough to tell Angelote what had happened.

"Is that why I can't feel his power? I thought he would be shrouded in a light aura but none of it came out from him. He… Did he lose them to Revioryx? If that is so, then it explains everything! God, the curse is eating his life force! He will die soon!"

Unbeknownst to Kairi and everyone there, Angelote had known about the curse's type and its function.

"And here I thought I would wish them a happy and long life together. Thank god I didn't say it yet. Now, what should I do…?" He was pondering.

Kairi finished up his wedding attire with a crown on his head that Dark Kurumi had brought from an attached room. Jaaq, who saw the crown, gasped in shock. He finally realised Kairi's identity.

"I am sorry to have made you wait and let you see my disgrace just now. My name is Kairi and I am the holder of all stellars power. May I have the honour to call you father, sir?"

Kairi goes near Jaaq and bows his head while asking for Jaaq's permission. Jaaq stood frozen in his place. His eyes glance at them all before finally returning to Kairi whose head was still lower and never moved an inch.

"Sigh… If someone told me before that my daughter would marry the leader of the Bright Star, I would have laughed it off and not believed it. God, how can Your Majesty fall in love with my daughter? Doesn't Your Majesty think she was immature and wild?"

Kairi chuckled at Jaaq's description of Aries.

"That's what I love about her the most. She is freedom while carrying the lantern to light away the darkness in me. Being a leader at a young age is truly a heavy responsibility and when I lost my way, she helped me to find a new way. I cannot imagine living without her by my side."

Especially when his death is near…

He felt a little awful for taking away Aries' happiness but Aries still decided to stay with him. He slowly went down to one knee in front of Jaaq and shocked Jaaq again.

"Your Majesty, please get up! I don't deserve this."

Kairi shook his head. "I'm taking away your only daughter and changing her fate by marrying me. But I promise to love her to my death and make her happy as long as I live. I only beg you to let me have her."

"Kairi…" Rafiz looked sad when he heard it.

Even Dark Kurumi and Angelote's expressions turned grim. Rafael and Jaaq noticed it and were confused. They don't understand it.

"I approve of it. You have shown me this much. How could I refuse you, Your Majesty? I am thankful that my daughter can finally be together with someone and not go wildly everywhere by herself anymore. She does know how to worry me and her mother." Jaaq pulls Kairi to stand again.

Kairi was a few inches taller than him so he had to look up a little. He patted both of Kairi's shoulders with a smile.

"Now, let's go meet your future wife. I'm sure they are ready to go."

Kairi nodded his head. He was relieved to be accepted. He hopes Aries' mother likes him too. It does worry him because Aries' mother was more stern than Jaaq. After all, a woman was usually more protective of their children.
