Chapter 22: Chapter 22: Death of Unknown Hero.

Ryan, when he was a little boy he heard of a story of a hero that saves the world, when he comes out to the real world he notices that the world is full of greed. He wants to be different from other adventurers that only sought wealth but every time he forms a party, the party will have a fight about money and disband. When he tries to find or form a party he finds a mage and archer. The mage is strong but he is not arrogant and listens to other opinions. The archer it's a quiet woman, she always listens to other people, when the Flaming tiger party is being created he becomes a leader, after that he got more confidence when he advanced to adept rank with the help of master Sylas, he feels like a hero from the story book.

"Exhaling, come at me you monster!" Around Ryan, full of the monster carcass lying around and the 5 armor puppets that have been broken into pieces by the monster, the only puppet left is the smaller puppet inside the space pouch. Ryan has stayed back to let the citizens and combatants escape, he thought he could escape in time but it was too late and he has been surrounded and wounded by the monster.

"I still have 1 puppet left." Ryan takes out the small puppet outside the space pouch, he still hasn't seen the small puppet fight any monster until now but he knows the small puppet is strong. "use your strongest attack." The puppet glowed red and then.

"Kaboom!" a large explosion and a mushroom cloud appear and destroy the surrounding monster and building.

Inside a cave near Itrisa city, a vortex of mana gathers inside the cave and is absorbed by a figure in meditation. The mana goes through the skin and blood vessels and enters the heart and creates an aura to strengthen the body, after a few hours the mana vortex stops.

Sylas opens his eyes. "So this is what it feels like to be a master rank assassin." Right now Sylas feels his body has a lot of power. After a few days he finally advanced, right now he doesn't know how to advance to the next rank because his teacher is a Grand master mage not a body type Grand master.

"I will think about it later, let's see what happens in the city."

Itrisa city right now is in ruin, the monster right now is guarding the city.

"I can feel the tracking magic that I put on the space pouch is near, shadow movement."

Sylas found the burn space pouch near the building, after looking around the only conclusion that Sylas have is, Ryan to let the citizen escape the city sacrifice his life using the suicide puppet to stop the monster.

"Sigh, to think you are willing to sacrifice your life, you are a hero." Sylas put the remains of the puppet that he found and the monster carcass that still have a heart, that can be used to create mana core inside his space storage and teleport outside the city.

What Sylas deduce is not entirely wrong, he just forgets to tell Ryan the detail about suicide puppet and how to used it. Ryan make a mistake when he says to use the suicide puppet strongest attack and he don't have enough time to escape.

Sylas teleports to a secret base, after seeing Everly, Levi and Luna. Sylas explains everything that happens in the city. They are already prepared in case of Ryan's death after they leave the city.

"Everly what is your plan? I am thinking about hiring you to be the bodyguard for the siblings in Playphis Town."

Levi has an eager face because the sibling feels excited when they are fighting monsters, not like in the alchemy room.

"How about this if Everly becomes your bodyguard, you can go to the dungeon, if you are bored after doing alchemy."

"Sigh, fine I agreed to become your bodyguard."

Sylas and Levi just smile.

Doveport town is located near a big river. Most of the survivors of Itrisa city come to this town because they want to go to the capital city of the Loulan kingdom. Most of the ship is already occupied so anyone that wants to go to any city by ship needs to wait.

Sylas plan is to let the group take a ship to the nearest town to Playphis Town, and for him to take a different ship to go to Capital city. He also gives the group space pouch that he already fixes inside the space pouch with some goods and money.

Inside a room in an inn, Sylas is writing a report for reference the title is Dead of Unknown Hero. "To think that Ryan died earlier than I expected, he tries to be a hero but he is just a pawn in the game of chess. The one in control is the chess player. I hope I can find more information about the Grand Master in the capital city."

After a few days the ships are ready to depart to the capital city and other towns. After saying goodbye to Levi, Luna and Everly they all enter their own ship and depart from Doveport town.

At first Sylas feel excited traveling by ship, but after a while he got bored and stay in the room cabin inside the ship. He found out that the ship use mana stone to operate and use propeller to move but for the weapon the ship only use giant crossbow and catapult. This world had already invented gunpowder and cannon, but it was expensive and had been monopoly by the dwarf in Yiral Kingdom, and why the ship doesn't have mana cannon because it was more expensive to use mana stone.

Suddenly the ship is shaking, Sylas uses enhanced hearing and finds out the ship has been raided by a pirate. The pirate must have thought that all the important people in Itrisa city already left earlier with the ship and this ship is just a normal ship.
