Chapter 2: Chapter 1: [1:8] The Espiègle Demoiselle

There was only darkness and the pain of getting crushed by something after I open my eyes. I tried to remember what happened before I passed out.

I woke up and took a bath then ate breakfast with my parents and said goodbye to them before going to school. On the way to school, I saw my best friend and sneak up on her back and jump at her and place my arms around her and gave her a hug. Then after I was satisfied hugging her, we went school together while talking about things that is fun or where we should go next weekend and because we got so absorbed in our talk that we almost got late. 

After we changed our shoes for in indoors and went to our classroom homeroom was over and our subject teacher came in. While our subject teacher was in the middle of his class my best friend raised her hand and excused herself before going to the bathroom. While I was waiting for her to come from the bathroom, an alarm came that a strong earthquake is coming and we immediately did what we were told what to do when an there is an earthquake coming.

When we were all in the emergency shelter, I immediately went around to find my best friend and when ask someone who might saw her, but no matter where or who asked about her I can't find her. It was already a few minutes ago after the alarm went and maybe it was a false alarm so I went to our classroom or the in the girls bathroom but I still can't find her. 

While walking in the empty hallway, an earthquake suddenly appeared. While running and trying to keep calm, the walls suddenly made a sound that a wall would never do. I saw it has cracks appearing in it, not just in one place but ceiling and the floor has cracks all over it. Right now I am in the third floor so jumping out of the window is impossible, I tried thinking of something that can increase the chance of me getting out of this alive. 

But before I can think of anything, the floor and the ceiling fell down and I fell unconscious as something hit my head.

Now that remember everything, I started panicking but finally found out that I can't move. It's not because my body is paralyzed and can't move but because I'm under a pile of rubble's. I can also feel my left arm and leg being under of something and is getting crushed. Finally tears started pouring out as continue to feel the pain of getting crushed and the hopelessness of being alone in the dark. 

Now that I feel the arms of death coming closer, I keep thought of the my last goodbye to my parents and that I regret that I haven't apologize to Mom and Dad that the money I asked them about was for my project was a lie and used it to go out and had fun with my friends. And my best friend who I made a promise to go out next weekend, not just that but there is still a lot of regret left.

 But no matter how much I think about it, the past can never change and can only be done by something in the present. Whether you can find a solution to it you can only do it in the present, but seeing that there will be no future left for her. She keep thinking things that she could have done that and did she not do it. As she thought of the her best friend if she was safe and in same situation as her, the arms death came and embraced her and took her to the of cycle death and rebirth.

When she opens her eyes, she saw a woman and a man's face looking at her. She could feel that she's wrapped around by some cloth, but she immediately remembered what happened to her and that she must have been rescued. She tried to ask what happened but only to be surprised that she can't speak and that a voice of an newborn baby that is trying to speak came out of her mouth.

She triad touching her mouth but only to see look so small just like a newborn baby. Then the man in front of her suddenly reach out his finger in front of her, she looked at hand in front of her and out to see how big they are compared to her. The man smiled as she hold his finger that is same size her small palm. 

The woman suddenly talk in a language she can't understand and the man also talk in the same language. While the two stranger talked, she finally understand what happened to her. She didn't get rescued and she died and that she got reborn again and that the two stranger in front of her must be her parents.

As the world will know her name far and wide, we will watch the beginning of the girl who will learned the way of the sword and magic and used her otherworld knowledge to survive so that she can have the one thing she always desire.
