Conquering And Defending

"Commander, yes sir! Please tell me what it is so that I can inform my men and women as well." Once he was done sending his cutely actin Spirit Cat Pet to his second official in command, Lotto trotted towards Army Colonel Pallenio and bowed once before saluting with his left wrist right under his ribcage, a formal yet simple salute that wasn't anything intricate nor 'deep' and meaningful.

Tapp!

Army Colonel Pallenio landed his left hand on the young man’s right shoulder, his eyebrows jumping once when seeing Lotto send his Spirit Cat Pet along a message to his troops, instead of jumping around and speeding up like an animal, he looked around and could only shake his head in comparison but not as if the others were wrong or too dumb; though.

“Well,” Pallenio said, attracting Lotto’s attention as he continued right after with his right hand open and his right arm stretching towards a direction where Lotto was given a clear sight of what he was pointing at towards the end of his words. “Though your previous Lieutenant Colonel will feel pain of letting you go, this was mo-aheh-! General Powlniu's orders, nonetheless.”

Looking at where Army Colonel Pallenio was pointing at, Lotto saw an extreme beauty armored to the teeth with Luxurious armor, the same as his yet still giving off sensation that were even more powerful than Army Colonel Pallenio! It was a woman, but not a Human like himself, instead, she was a Beast Race from the Myriad Races.

Step, step, step, step, step~...

With her each and every step of hers, her body moved with great manipulation, as if each part of her body was moving and breathing even as those seemingly unnecessary motions didn’t really seemed to make that much dynamic. Her eyes, which were just now looking at her superior, turned to look at Lotto with her long, wide and fluffy brown ears moving barely at a noticeable motion by the naked eye.

“Meet your new Colonel General, Katalyia, you will now be under her and follow her every command. She is a great warrior and, to be honest, the only reason she isn’t promoted to Army Colonel is because her troops are still being trained back home. Colonel General Katalyia, meet your well requested Staff Sergeant, if you have any asking, he is your man.”

“Oh right, before I leave so awkwardly, Colonel General Katalyia is stronger than me, by a lot, but she isn’t that good at…commanding.” Hushing his last word, the Army Colonel Pallenio said with some traces of ‘please, don’t tell’ and ‘please, I don’t want her to know’. His words reaching deep into Lotto’s heart, making it shudder in apprehension as Army Colonel Pallenio tried to run away right away.

“You can go now,” said the Colonel General Katalyia with an strangely extremely soft voice as she looked directly at the Blue Elf, already standing in front of the latter and making Lotto even more apprehensive as Army Colonel Pallenio said nothing and just smiled fawningly before departing with a hunched back. The female Beast  then turned her head to Lotto, inciting some fear into his feeble heart.

“Colonel General, it is an honor to be your subordinate, Staff Sergeant Lotto at your service.”

“Mn, I know. Pallenio brought me an adviser, I don’t mind it, I also need it. The Lord doesn’t want just big and resistant warriors as his commanders, but generals. It is way different than what my Race does, but I like it, but I also have to adhere to it or I won’t become a General in my life, let alone a Field Marshall.”

Lotto could’ve heard wrongly, because of her beauty and him getting influenced by it or distracted, but now, he can confirm that the extreme softness of her voice wasn’t fabricated nor forced in the slightest bit of tiny pieces. It was an all too naturally extremely soft voice that couldn’t be any more authentic and… unique.

“An insanely natural soft voice!” Lotto exclaimed out lowly, Colonel General Katalyia’s eyes instantly looked back at him but without expression as Lotto’s eyes widened at her own, sobering up to his stupidness. Wanting to remedy it but not being able to, he could only observe her body and features in silence as they—strangely—spent this moment scrutinizing one another without awkwardness.

She had a human’s creamy skin and wonderful brownish facial hair on her eyebrows and eyelashes, with some slightly discernible brown and creamy pink stripes all over her body, as even though she was armed fully, some parts here and there clearly indicated that it was all around her body; she was also not wearing a helmet like an idiot at all times so.

Celestial chestnut eyes and hair of the same color, smooth and ‘free’ without any hairstyle nor order yet still appearing to be dainty even. She was 1.75 cm tall, just some cm shorter than Lotto, seemed to have one of those extremely advanced and uniquely made auxiliary weapons on her right forearm; it was a short crossbow that yet made awe appear in Lotto’s eyes.

But what really caused Lotto’s eyes to be awestruck was that, when Colonel General Katalyia finished scrutinizing him and sniffing twice in actual… contentment? She saw Lotto look at her small weapon and that made her look at it to check if there was anything wrong with it but ended up being that Lotto was awed by it, so she expressionlessly still resumed her pose to normal.

Yet, that movement alone was enough to allow the D sized bouncy bunnies to dance around for 3 seconds straight, Lotto was instantly charmed, spellbound, enchanted and directly sent out of his mind! And seeing this on her new and greatly praised Staff Sergeant, made the Colonel General Katalyia frown as she looked all over her body to see if something was wrong.

She didn’t want to drive away such a well intended soldier because of her strength, right? As such, she also restrained all of her aura to appear to be nothing more than an extremely great and realistic cosplay, her being the extreme beauty that she was, the delicate appearance on her became even more prominent as she turned and twisted her body slightly.

Yet, that alone allowed Lotto for a complete review of her entire body structure, it was then that he realized that it was only him and her under the extremely large pergola! Yet again, he couldn’t care less as he then saw Katalyia’s ample, small but perky bottom and her fully armor-covered slender, muscular body that didn’t had much volume at all yet she still appeared buffy compared to a small and little princess yet was just as slender as one.

“Mm, Staff Sergeant?” Colonel General Katalyia asked the human in front of her, not understanding what was even wronger than before as he appeared even worse than before… Lotto responded dully as he was waking up and hoping that his Official Commander, second in command of Army Colonel’s Army Group wouldn’t punish him… too severely.

“Ah, yes? Yes, sir!” Katalyia tilted her head to the left, her left fluffy, fat and long ear arching and twisting up strangely but cutely, with Lotto’s eyes being instantly drawn by them. Katalyia had a large grin on the left corner of her lips formed as she spoke, that insanely soft voice blowing his mind still away. “You like them? Aren’t they such attention seekers?”

“Ah-ah-a-a-a-ah, I’m sorry, Colo-”

“No, its fine,” Colonel General stopped the Staff Sergeant as he babbled and stuttered, she then continued with her voice making the latter dumb. “I am a Bear-Fox, this is what I grew up like, isn’t it funny? Because I am really powerful in both melee and magic, yet I am nothing like a fox, but something tells me that it is within me.”

She then smiled at the Staff Sergeant, radiantly but lightly, as the Staff Sergeant didn’t know how insanely impossible to see was such a sight. Her insanely soft voice continued, “That’s why you’re here with me and not with another Army Colonel or with Colonel General Pawya. So, I’ll be counting on you, to scrap out all of that potential hidden inside me.”

The Staff Sergeant: “...?”

“Now, go and randevu with your troops, I wouldn’t want you to go after I just obtained you, got it?” Her still insanely soft voice echoed through his mind as her ample but small and perky bottom twisted as she moved, her right profile face seen by him as he felt that she was showing it to him. But, shaking his head once she was mostly gone, Staff Sergeant Lotto hurriedly grabbed his strange blade and ran away out of the pergola; leaving their first meeting like this as they prepared for their first warring together.

. . .

In another campsite of The Order inside the outer ring of the Precious Chrysoberyl Sub-Division.

“...” Sergeant Gytto was finished counting his people as it was the first time that he did such a thing in preparation for his first battle as the first in command, official commander of his Section! He was emotive as he didn’t even allow the Corporal he selected to do it himself, at least for the first time that is, otherwise, he may die of boredom from doing the same thing as before.

Anyways, that was always the work of a subordinate, if there was a mistake or a problem with it later on, it was going to be ‘punishing time’ for the subordinate, and not for him any longer. Sergeant Gytto was crossing his arms in front of his chest when an ‘old man’s’ left hand grabbed at his left shoulder from behind, Sergeant Gytto thought that it was his Commander.

As such, he turned around with unknown fear of whether he was slow or didn’t hear his Commander Palili speak, but was then astounded to see his former superior, Staff Sergeant Tenor smiling lavishly in teasing at him. “Phoow~, Staff Sergeant Tenor, please do not make such jokes and…”

Looking at his own Commander, Sergeant Gytto lamented that he and Staff Sergeant Tenor weren’t under the same Commander but were coincidental enough to find each other in the same campsite with three Commanders in it. That was luck, indeed, and as Tenor heard his previous subordinate speak of such, he smiled gently a little before speaking for himself.

“Army Colonel Pattala is only waiting for his eldest brother to continue on, as his Army Group is the first to leave. Hence, I was able to come here in order to wish you luck and to remind you to keep yourself alive, for as I am not there anymore to save your ass; thanks to the Army Colonel Pattala’s agreeing to my request.”

“Oh, I see… Uncle Tenor, thank you,” Gytto whispered his last words as he intended to hide them from his subordinates, but the 20 year old was nothing for the 40 year old, the old fucking driver separated just 10 cm away when Gytto whispered. His words’ vibrations traveled to his troops as they grinned and nodded to hide their restraints from bursting out laughing.

“Alright, I’m leaving, my minute is off. Farewell, Little Gy.” Tenor said as he returned from the way he came back, it was approximately an incredible amount of millions of lines behind Army Colonel Palili’s troops that was his spot, so he had to ride his Abysmal Creature Mount if he wanted to get there before 5 minutes.

‘Pssh! And he said that he only had 1 minute or so, bahh!’ As Sergeant Gytto had his arms crossed and his face flushing, his mind drifted slightly away as the sight of a certain delicate woman resting in his chambers back in The Order’s Unparalleled Peaceful Rain Golden Citadel emerged in his heart and soul; Army Colonel Palili finally spoke with his voice reaching each and every single one of his troops.

“It is only 1 minute before it is 12:00 am, at that time, I want to see you all and your Mounts galloping at full strength! Follow my lead as I bring the fire into the enemy territory! Follow my lead as you become a darker shadow from the ashes to instill our enemy with fear instead!” As Army Colonel Palili spoke, a Team of Scouts came to his back as they ragged a 50 meters tall platform with advanced technological all terrain wheels under the entire platform.

Meanwhile, on the entire platform were situated a huge amount of Inhabitants’ corpses that weren’t from people who were either accidentally killed or who resisted out of fear or some similar triggering and inducing emotion, but from those who directly opposed The Order without reason and so possibly out of profit.

Stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp…!

Even then, there was no doubt that this was a cruel move and motivation, but war by itself was even more so, and there was nothing wrong in the loser being the awful and ignorant party. As that platform was being carried over in the middle of an area between Army Colonel Palili and his Army Group, a stronger stomping sound was heard before a 5 meters long and 3.5 meters tall Abysmal Creature showed up to stand right in front of Army Colonel Palili.

With the Scouts who arrived with the platform taking out some disassembled parts and then working together to form a large carrying device in just 3 seconds, before starting to work to place it on the Abysmal Creature Mount of the Army Colonel Palili. Once installed properly, with the sides of the Abysmal Creature’s arm bones being the ones to carry the ‘insane weight’ of the platform and the bodies on it, Palili rode his Abysmal Creature Mount as he comforted him softly.

“There you go Kas, now show the smaller brothers, sisters and cousins of how strong you are!” Kas, his Abysmal Creature Mount, understood perfectly his words and intentions as his eyes began glowing powerfully and without seeming to want to stop. Kas didn’t neighed nor made growling sounds in return but his heart very well responded to his rider; his pal.

“Fire it up.” With a mere command, a Scout that was nearby took out his goggles and raised his left hand towards the platform while his chest was facing the direction that The Order was about to march in. Reddish flaming energy began to condense at his fingertips from the back of his hand and his sleeves, and before long, small snakes of fire but of powerful red and orange slithered around his hand before licking the air towards where the platform was at.

Sssi! Sssi! Ssi! Ssi…

Several flaming snakes sent themselves lunging, almost flying and practically gliding upwards and to the sides of the small hill of corpses as they formed a kind of ‘barrier’ around it. Incessant burning sounds emerged yet not a single corpse was touched, and it was only when the snakes of flames stopped dancing around and entered the ‘cocoon’ of fire that there was finally an explosion to indicate for the destruction ongoing within.

Pff-whistle!-FUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!

Instantly, a severe torching flame raised up to 700 meters in the air with black impurities being sent towards the sky incessantly; hotness reached the faces and bodies of every troop and Mount behind the platform while Army Colonel Palili began to march forwards. Slowly, the minute was coming to an end as every single rider and Mount duo were preparing to set off at max speed.

Bell, brrrllll~... STOMP!! Stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp…!!

The first to move was the Army Colonel Palili at a the maximum Movement Speed possible for the entirety of the Army Group, whose slow moving forwards as the platform’s all terrain wheels began to suddenly go crazy as soon as the Abysmal Creature Mount galloped at such strength and power.

Following right after, all of his Army Group began galloping at their full speed, not even wasting any MP or Stamina to create synergy skills and yet moving at a more or less Movement Speed of 250%!

With everyone leading their way behind the Army Colonel Palili, there was naturally Sergeant Gytto who shouted and ordered for his men and women to go at it! His superiors having already issued commands, he moved to stay at a certain part of the rear that wasn’t fully the end of the rear though, his soldiers following perfectly in formation as he and other hundreds of army units moved nearby him.

Even though it looked as if they were all about to collide with one another, and as if it was only a matter of time before a collision occurred and tragedy unfolded, the slithering troops that ranged from a few and dozens to tens of thousands moved altogether while following the same official commander, as they listened to their Official Commander’s orders and everyone inside the Army Group formed an unbeatable array that not even a collapsing mountain would be able to stop; seriously.

Fwing… fwing fwing fwing-fwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwingfwin~!!

Suddenly, the Army Colonel Palili had a small, cute creature come out of his bosom, and as his black fur and celeste eyes were seen by his troops across the flaming small hill, it suddenly transformed into black little wings that adhered themselves to the lower waist of the Abysmal Creature Mount, a few tiny gales instantly appeared as the Movement Speed was rawly increased in 50%!

Soon after, just as the Spirit Cat Pet of the Army Colonel Palili transformed into a pair of wings, the rest of his entire Army Group took out their Spirit Pet Cats and had them become into white wings which were smaller in size and in effect, but from which the dark wings of their Army Colonel seemed to resonate with them and grant them the last boost they needed to also reach that raw augment in Movement Speed+50%!

STOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMPSTOMP~~!!!

Millions of troops moved at once, they weren’t that many, but there were tons and tons and even more so considering that the other 2 Army Groups residing in the same campsite for over 2 weeks were now joining the First Army Group of the Elf Blue-Hunch Region at last!

With Army Colonel Palili leading his First Army Group of the Elf blue-Hunch Region at the front, the Second Army Group and Third Army Group of the Elf Blue-Hunch Region followed the First Army Group side by side, with 2 equal small hills of flames being dragged by their Commanders.

Army Colonel Pattala was leading the Second Army Group, while Army Colonel Palens was leading the Third Army Group. Together, and with their small hills of flaming corpses only being separated by about 200 meters, forming a reeking, funereal smile while the one up in front was making a sort of exterminating sun; from the distance, the immense amount of settlements that were yet less than that of the outer ring but stronger than itself… began to fear.

Yet, before any of them could even wake up from their fear, from this ‘nightmare’, arrows that flew up to the sky seemingly without limits in their speed and crossing through the air, became enormous arrows dozens of meters long and several meters wide and thick; each one being of its own size as they all seemingly came from the same source…were shot towards the entrance of each settlement within the inner ring.
