Siissssssszzsssszssszzzzzzzzzsssss!
Now it looked as if Yun Beishang was holding two purplish, flaming suns that were adjoined to one another, a dazzling sight to behold that was totally blind to the people below, from which only Yun Beishang and Rosey were the only ones witnessing such a major event. Without giving in to any sort of difficulty, Yun Beishang aimed his Vicissitudes of Life towards the middle of the Mother Tree of Main Kingdom.
Crr-psip! Psip! Psip! Psip! ...Whistle! Whistle! Whistle! Whistle!
There wasn't any skill nor Mental Power latched onto the 4 arrows as they were let loose, their bodies simply breaking the air and powerfully making their way towards the tree trunk that seemed to be right in front of oneself from how damn large it just was but was hundreds billions of kilometers away from the Ancient Region’s Regional borders in reality.
…tuk…tuk…tuk…tuk…
Like an orchestrated opera, one of tiny sounds and without much of a tempo to its instruments, the 4 arrows fell upon the tree trunk and penetrated it, but only a little as the Void Jumping Stars became stuck at the tree bark for some reason. Yet, as it happened, the pink-flaming arrows began to envelope their surroundings with the very same flame that seemed inexhaustible.
Each arrow, though its sounds of it penetrating a little bit into the Mother Tree was only heard by Yun Beishang and Rosey when putting their full attention on it, were separated by a few millions of kilometers in the middle of the space between the ground itself where its roots began digging in and where one’s naked eye couldn’t see anymore upper than the sky.
The topmost arrow only reached up to 7/10 of the visible tree trunk by the naked eye, and the lowermost reached down towards about 3/10 of the tree trunk; all from below to up.
And from the arrows wearing that beautiful outfit of a purple sun flaring up in flames that seemed unlimited in terms of quantity as they reached out to each other’s arrows in a direct line that went upwards and downwards, and from which the topmost and lowermost arrows continued on having a trail of purple sunfire that became stronger the more it went through the Mother Tree’s body.
With Yun Beishang’s Fire Core Element and Rosy’s…Rosy; the Fire Red Core Element ‘gained’ some kind of enhancement, of strength. With that, becoming purple despite that it obviously does not work like that and it had to do more with their connection, their link and with Yun Beishang simply having the best incubating body for such reality-changing laws.
The flames that were supposed to take their damn time burning the whole Mother Tree down for 3 months give or take was now being rapidly enshrouded by those vivacious and greedy purple flames. For as when they reached up to beyond what the naked eye could see and went lower below the ground and entered the underneath of Main Kingdom; the direct line that each arrow had connected to one another exploded without sound and began expanding leftwards and rightwards!
The middle of the visible Mother Tree’s trunk was being fully covered, embraced and hugged by those purple flames, scorching the first layer of tree bark found in just an instant, but there being a much thicker one right after. While the second layer of tree bark was beginning to be scorched, the sound of its sizzling surely sounding mighty delicious right now, the rest of the Ancient Forest Region began to change.
From the Southwest of the Region, in between the Protective Fruit Tree Sub-Division and the Forbidden Fruit Tree Sub-Division, the farthest away tree without continuing on outwards from the Region suddenly became kindle in purple flames as if directly from hell it had been summoned to become its prisoner.
The tree quickly melted down and left little pieces of ash in the air, but those were totally burnt by the remaining sparks of purple sunfire that then began to all fly towards the nearby trees. When another tree was visited by a purple sunfire spark, the tree took the spark and held it on top of itself for 3 seconds, before seemingly welcoming it into its body.
FWUMP~!
The tree then suddenly became fueled by something and became another tree that turned purple sunfire, withholding life for a few more seconds before falling to the same fate as the first ‘ordinary’ tree that was already about a few hundred meters tall and of 1 meters to even 20 meters in diameter.
But not all of the trees needed to ‘wait’ for a spark of purple sunfire to come to them, as a vast majority of the oceans of trees all over the Ancient Forest Region became ignited instead over the course of mere seconds since first tree came to kindle itself from underneath where its roots lay and where Mother Tree was to take care of them the fastest and with much more love than those outside the Ancient Forest Region since millions of years ago.
With so many forests beginning to slowly but surely be set on fire by these purple flames, the Journeyers of Main Kingdom weren’t slow at speeding up some more in driving away the rest of the Inhabitants to safety despite already being so. And being so close to the 9th month as well, everyone knew that it was only a matter of time before a new chapter was opened in Rising Essence.
While the Godly Journeyers who were most tired about the war of insane proportions of their heads to process flawlessly in just these few months, some of them being leaders of the same like Raoundozia, Yin Xiong and Baston, they had a very likability with the Inhabitants like never before after the war ended.
While most other Godly Journeyers and Journeyers, the latter being the minority now as so much information and tips had been given since the release of the Road to Godhood: Becoming a God, the third expansion of the ‘game’; were still ready to pump for more and get on with the development of The Order ruling over all of Main Kingdom with their own ‘honesty’ to see how it goes.
Though The Order had about that of 6 or 7 billion ‘more or less’, of Journeyers at their side for the last part of the whole world war that occurred indeed, only about 5 billion remained on their own, with most of them choosing to remain under their Association as a Vassal that were under The Order and others directly under The Order.
Right now, as the skies of the Ancient Forest Region were beginning to be cleared, clear of flames, smoke and even more so now…clear of trees and leaves that covered most of the sky in the Ancient Forest Region. The Journeyers who left The Order were now feeling regretful, a kind of premonition reaching their silly heads, though they now had thousands to hundreds of thousands of Formidable grade sets…weren’t those only in the ‘mortal’ grade?
There was a heaven-like or god-like second, last part of grades that they haven’t seen before, and though they couldn’t get their hands on free high end equipment at these times of the game, they at least got so much Formidable grade full equipment and weapon, some being a whole, completed set at that!
But now, however, they finally knew of their rashness, and even if they were to move back and join The Order, they will surely be placed at the bottom in the list outside of the priority list. But no matter, one thing was a fucked up once out of ignorance and greed as well as dumb sensations, while another one was repeating it after understanding one’s mistake.
And as the world; both worlds, saw the trees burn, extinguish and slowly begin to clear out the billions and billions to even possibly trillions and trillions of trees in the Ancient Forest Region, they were suddenly struck as if with a reminder that the God Race was still out there. And even those tired of the wars that lasted several months in total like Baston and such, became silently emboldened by their own ideas, thoughts and emotions.
While watching the purplish sunfire burn and burn, while watching the world change; the people’s hearts and train of thought for Main Kingdom changed…as well.
…At first, it wasn’t noticed, it was completely outside of the Journeyers and Inhabitants’ attention alike, but it wasn’t just the trees of the Ancient Forest Region being ignited, set afire. It was also the very same ‘Main Trees’ of each Sub-Division, and the one and only Mother Tree at the core of the whole Main Kingdom’s planet.
The latter was indeed much easier to notice being set ablaze, but the former took some time, as they were slowly burning from the inside before they began to burn from the outside, their leaves melted in instants and their branches slowly shrank until only a pitiful image of a dying tree remained to the naked eyes of the watchers.
Naturally…the most harrowing, excruciating and agonizingly desolate reactions from this destruction were none other than the Ancient Forest Region’s Inhabitants, whose tears could drown the land and their knees level down the ground, falling onto it and making it tremble at the sound of their heartbeats.
Though nobody knew why, they more or less knew who, but they still didn’t know why do something like this after so much trouble… Until the slightly sharp minded were the first to speak out their thoughts; the evil of Main Kingdom!

That was, exactly, when not only Journeyers but also Inhabitants alike became surprised and…pretty much terrified?
To have enemies at your own house would always give anyone chills just from thinking about it or hearing it happen, let alone having it actually happen and, according to the Journeyers’ estimation, it must have been like so for sooo many millions of years since the far away past. Such a notion was even more terrifying for the proudest Inhabitants of the Ancient Forest Region.
Yet, the pain of watching one’s home being razed to the ground was nonetheless unthinkably painful, their hearts ached but their brains were relieved, and with that, guilt was born in their hearts as they couldn’t help of the past where ‘things’ now seemed clearer and of the most obvious meanings to the current Inhabitants…
While grieving for their world, grieving for their past, the Myriad Races of Main Kingdom’s pain was soon to become the fuel to ignite their hearts; this time without a flame, arrows or even a catastrophic-like event. Because, on the first day that the trees started to burn and the whole world of Main Kingdom began changing; in the middle of the night, a sight to be eternally terrified for life remained in most Inhabitants’ eyes and ears…hearts too.
Just as the seemingly praying Inhabitants all around the Kingdom were paying their respects to a hardworking, resilient god in their eyes, just as rain fell and covered their crying, hurt-inside bodies while hushedly speaking to their children of fairy tales, stories and legends about the Mother Tree and her work to save Main Kingdom in the past from extinguishing and being a ‘sister’ to Mother Main Kingdom…
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ-...-...-...-...-...-...-...KAAAAAAAAACHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RUMBLE~~~!!!! RUMBLE~~~~!!!!! RUMBLEEEEEE~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!...
…From the farthest tiny piece of territory away from the Mother Tree Division, core of the whole Main Kingdom, a sound that should’ve had the entire world become deaf and even possibly die afterwards entirely extinguishing the whole world in just that moment; was instead only loud for both Journeyers and Inhabitants; monsters and ordinary flora and fauna.
But what they saw, and from a crackling that was formed in the sky with particles, so big, that they could be seen even from that far away, followed by the cloud surrounding the Mother Tree slowly becoming more and full of a power that was Godly. But without the same feeling as before, this Godliness wasn’t like what the people saw when the Demon Race was exterminated at last.
Instead, this kind of Godliness filled everyone with the sensation of might and omnipresence, but though it offered such experience, it requested no kneeling or worship. Only, it showed that it was worthy of being called Godly, and that such power was even looking forwards to gain their respect with this show of mightiness.
However, that was only momentary, as in the very next instant, a lightning bolt almost as thick as the whole Mother Tree fell upon the latter, breaking apart and turning into sweet nothingness the beloved second ‘Mother’ of Main Kingdom and its lovely beings living within it. Though the sounds of it cracking apart and flying into the air as several million kilometers-tall dirt and sand-tsunamis were created; the next moment, they were all gone from being so close to where the ‘lightning bolt’ had descended.
…The only thing that remained, was the most obscure and intangible image of a supreme lion hovering above the skies and looking below at the southern Ancient Forest Region, before it closed its already barely discernible eyes and swiftly disappeared from Main Kingdom’s skies.
For weeks, this very notion remained topnotch in the Rising Essence’s forums, thousands of posts would be created about it daily; to say the least… And with the still ‘slow’ but surely advancing purple sunfire becoming easily seen from many parts of the Ancient Forest Region, there were many different occasions.
Some tried to put it out, either with water or ‘magical’ water, or simply with the sacrifices of their bodies or of other Journeyers. It wasn’t possible to sacrifice Inhabitants since The Order always had a bunch of guards taking care of those situations, and the perpetrators wouldn’t only be taken care of in the game but also the ‘real world’.
As such, the only thing that remained was that they could investigate but better not touch the purplish flames and even less so try to put it out, one could get incinerated in less than an instant if the purplish flames felt like it and trailed liquid or even spit alone to its source, creating several hundreds of funny videos for the world to enjoy, ah.
In short, Journeyers could suicide with it but do nothing else to the purplish flames, and only the ‘majestic’ side of them devouring the forests of the Ancient Forest Region remained, reminding them of what was ahead of themselves for both Journeyers and Inhabitants alike once more.
But that was all for what the Ancient Forest Region’s ‘cleansing’ would take, when 2 months passed, everyone was even already creating paths that led from one planned settlement to live among other trees that were right behind the burning purple flames, even becoming impatient to resume building despite the already fast devouring of the trees.
Because, though it was indeed ‘slowly’ burning the entire Ancient Forest Region’s forests, to a planet like New Earth, such a thing in 2 months would’ve been enough to burn the whole planet twice already. While the Ancient Forest Region only had a bit more than ⅔’s of its forests gone and their ‘Main Trees’ on each Sub-Division also gone while Mother Tree was somewhat still fighting.
However, the second half of the Mother Tree was no longer existent, as tiny pieces of it fell like meteors against the ground after the ‘lightning bolt’ attacked but that were all burnt in those purple sunfire flames before they could reach anywhere below the 1,000th kilometer mark from above the ground level.
The forums, however, after they calmed down about the purple flames and the forests being burnt down. Went back to normal as usual with the naturally more attractive themes being the threads with the most views, some gaining a few billion votes and some not. As, unlike before where only a few were ‘alive’ in the game of Rising Essence, the entire world was connected to the game in one way or another.
As such, haughtiness and arrogance as well as pride began appearing within the entire playerbase of Rising Essence. Now, posts such as ‘SOLOING…’ a certain BOSS and grade and so on could only reach up to 1 billion views and around 100 million upvotes even after a month. While some other themes were very well taken by all.
For example, The Order officially opened brothels that were even of a greater ‘level’ than those proposed and then created by the Flick Clan 2 years ago. Many thought that The Order had already fallen, and that they had stood so low now they even resorted to whoring people out with the excuse of the Flick Clan which already knew how to do that like no other organization before them.
However, the change that kept everyone from still thinking the same was that they now included the Inhabitants into their brothels, ah. Though everytime that one entered a brothel, a satanic system’s contract would have to be signed, each time.
One of the most renowned rules of such was that one was not allowed to hurt the poor darlings in any non-consensual nor harming way, or else they’ll feel the agonizing pain of all of their sexual organs being pulverized and then amended only to be pulverized again without being able to log off for 3 hours. So far, only a few braindeads tried to play The Order, nobody lamented their deaths, especially after knowing a few ‘leaked’ inside details.
On the other hand, The Order weekly announced the progress of Inhabitants and Journeyers’ work in the Regions, building up the Sub-Divisions and Divisions as well as their whole damn Cities. Which, though they weren’t of a large size like they were before…there was quizzically a much wider space between the Divisional City and the Sub-Divisional Cities. It was even more so between Sub-Divisional Cities, though they were built in the same place…the people of Main Kingdom and New Earth alike, especially the latter which had much more advancement in terms of architecture and has gone through so much pain to create in the New Earth.
Those Cities being built, when completely finished…gave them the sensation that it was meant for many more to appear in between and all over the Regions; all over Main Kingdom!
Besides those weekly updates about those heavy important stuff, lots of settlements being rebuilt and improved even as they kept their sizes of territory and buildings; yet, they could now have a much grander population without having to worry about space for each family or member of said settlement. As for food, with the resources of nowadays, so many Inhabitants learning Sub-Classes the most natural way like a ‘normal and real’ person learning how to cook, they naturally had means other than collecting and hunting.
If they were then incapable of creating ways for them to get food then maybe they deserved to starve a little, getting rich and foot to live on weren’t the same thing, a thing that not many comprehend but is always in the mind of so many. But The Order would only help with what was the most basic of things, as their ruler, it was now The Order’s responsibility to have their civilians always have a way; with them having to get serious and work hard about it of course.
All in all, livelihood, especially for the farming settlements and now caretaking villagers as well as some that focused on certain other types of Sub-Classes all began to appear within Main Kingdom. It was on a scale that terrified the citizens of the Human Civilization on New Earth, if that was possible then in a ‘medieval’-magic world with a population of a few trillions and so vast it could overshadow New Earth’s solar system a few hundreds of times at most.
Then, wasn’t the future under the Peaceful Rain Corporation going to be just as innovating with the studies and knowledge they’ve been promising for the past few weeks now? That was the thought of so many when it was already a few days before the end of the year whenever the subject about Main Kingdom’s Inhabitants was brought to a bar, beauty salons, hotels and even important meetings at work or even in bed.
