60 Days

"No way, that was very similar to the one that Chief Yun Beishang fought!" - "But did you see that, did you see that?!" - "It was as large as all of Main Kingdom, what the fuck!!" - "I think that the Lord of The Order- wha- what is this?!" - "The Order will hold an event 4 times in the next 2 months to kill a... a God Devourer grade BOSS?!"

Just as many people were both screenshooting the shit out of the 3 portals that could be seen even from tens of kilometers in the distance despite them not being too large or tall, as well as the most terrifying, exciting and overwhelming sight of a dragon's body moving above their heads and seemingly in the space of Main Kingdom while also rotating slightly and letting his body; they were all disconnected from the game.

And while they were very damn fast to move to their social media and the forums of Rising Essence, their mouths and fingers began speaking their internet language left and right as it all got into their heads,  hype so strong and never before having been brought with such ephemeral properties that was so efficient still.

“Some people have already entered back!” - “It’s been an hour already?!” - “It went by so fast!” - “They say that the game is only giving us 60 days to prepare, that we must quickly get things ready these 60 days? What?” It didn’t take long at all for the playerbase of Rising Essence came knocking right into the game right after, as soon as the game came back online and kicking.

There were already tens of thousands of images from the previous little show becoming what was way next after ‘viral’, and the image of the Responsive Dragon encompassing all of Main Kingdom’s space, seemingly protecting it and showing some might to the God Race that must’ve been watching from outside - was an even more invigorating thought as everyone went back in with the highest hype in their fucking life 1 hour after.

With not even the most responsible ones being able to stop themselves, be it as they were playing the game themselves or even sleeping or about to and then heard the news, saw the news and had some little few seconds to think about the news; they all immediately went into the game without saying a word nor trying to convince themselves, getting to see all that there was to see.

More than anything, after spending a few tens of gold coins, some even thousands as they were way too far away, wasting almost half their savings for the week or so. They all went and saw how 3 portals were, indeed, hovering above in the Divisional Cities, they saw 3 portals that were standing mightier and mystically more than anything they’ve seen in their lives.

It was as if through the pure and powerful blue as the center of the portal they could see not only the universe of Main Kingdom, but their own as well. It was a greatly invigorating, new and provocative feeling that got into their heads and made them feel…so small.

The Responsive Dragon’s immense body was no longer visible, of course, if he was he might’ve been attacked just to test things out and so on. But there was a faction from the Journeyers…female Journeyers that directly began showing off their love for that little goldy wormy without abandon.

“That was someone very special, you know?” - “Did you know that only one Overlord from the past is still alive after all these wars and wasn’t affected at all by the Gods and Goddesses?” - “It’s the Responsive Dragon, the noblest Bloodline defending our Main Kingdom, you know? Without him, the Lord wouldn’t have gotten so far!”

As for them, though they didn’t know it, they were already being targeted by Yun Beishang who wasn't deliberately going to ‘take care’ of them nor spy them 24/7 but would indeed be moving if any of them began acting weird, ah. On the other hand, Yun Beishang was doing his own stuff, as he himself was occupied on his own, already issuing the next several commands for Main Kingdom for these 60 days, and already planning to use all 4 uses of his Responsive Dragon’s Unhindered Shadow.

…Right now, as Yun Beishang was also back into the game, with Rasa once again ‘gone’ as she went with the Responsive Dragon to who knew where, maybe close to the core of Main Kingdom for all that matters. And he returned with Rosey and a content Lioness who became very well behaved and only growled in bliss and cutely from time to time back to New Earth, Yun Beishang was now in-game checking his system notifications from before.

*PING*...you’ve received Portal Stone x1 and Guided Ascension Scroll x3.

[Responsive Dragon, Overlord of the Bright Sunset Region]: Type: True Dragon(Responsive Dragon Race), Grade: Universal, LV: 200, HP: 798T. The Overlord of a Region, one that had once managed to fully defend against the God Race’s invasion to the deepest of his own heart and mind. Now, he has attained a level seen and known of the oldest Responsive Dragons in Main Kingdom from the past, and with such change occurring to his mighty prowess, this Overlord has been granted the mission of protecting Main Kingdom from any God and Goddesses that may ever manage to get any closer to Main Kingdom.

As for the skills, there were so many and had so many conditions as well as some even having requisites or were simply normal but very powerful and had tons of damage and barely some cooldown. Basically, seeing the skills section of the Universal grade Responsive Dragon didn’t make Yun Beishang dizzy, but each of them being so powerful left him jealous…he only had a few after all.

But though he had few of them only, each of them was stronger than even the strongest ones from the Responsive Dragon, only, this monster might very well have ten times more the amount of damage that Yun Beishang himself had, and that would be enough to deal more basic damage to anything than the current Yun Beishang who could still not pass on his Godly prowess into Rising Essence.

In any case, taking a look at his current status window, Yun Beishang twisted his neck as he cracked it left and right, his closed eyelids fully closing down from the great sensation of such, but the trees around him that were around the Myriad Beasts Division trembled and almost swayed the fuck away from their current positions in the opposite direction of his.

After seeing his stats, Yun Beishang understood that he had work to do, a lot of work to do at that. For starters, there is the fact that the current maximum level of the 4th Expansion of Rising Essence: ‘Unending War’, was of 195 and that in these 60 days, he had to get there no matter what However, anyone who got to LV191 before before could tell how many several times the Experience bar became thicker and larger for one to fill for the next level.

Feeling glad that he conquered this world and gained its most precious resources ‘farms’ from each Region, Yun Beishang took out his Unparalleled Projections and quickly set his body to fly and went into the sky. Moving directly towards the Myriad Beasts City, to use the portal and then move directly to the Wonder Region to start his daily routine once again.

Only, it would be much faster, without wasting a single second and deleting the whole enemy mobs that were spawned and only being careful enough not to break the Public and Private Dungeons, or the ecosystem where the newest higher leveled mobs would appear in a spot on any place of Main Kingdom.

It was going to be hard, a little bit, but taking into consideration that the culmination of an extremely long, past story was about to become history, and that he was leading it. Yun Beishang couldn’t feel any nervous or scared by it, and instead, all he felt was a heavy, last but powerful burden forming on his shoulders; even heavier.

. . .

New Earth, Peaceful Rain Household, Feat’s bedroom. 13th of the 7th month, 3rd year since Rising Essence release; 11:33 am.

Over the last month and a half, Main Kingdom had become a place filled with festivity that no event in New Earth could compare to, and from which the Inhabitants of Main Kingdom were new to. Godly Journeyers was all that was left in this ‘gaming world’ of Rising Essence, even the Sub-Class only players were already very deep into the equation of Godliness for that matter.

The Order’s rule over Main Kingdom had become severely unshakable, their hands reached all of Main Kingdom and…all that was left was for The Order to decide on building all over it. Which was, of course and due to the current happening events, would be postponed until new notice once the war against Goddesses and Gods would end.

But for as when would that happen, it was unknown of course, and many could only be watching it all happen as the evaluation of Masters giving some elite Godly Journeyers a shake of their heads made many have both: hope since it meant that even the ordinary players could have a deal on this and desperate since if not even some elite Godly Journeyers could ‘get in’ and be selected by the Masters, then what chance did the ‘ordinary’ Godly Journeyers have?

However, the Masters weren’t that sassy, at least not like most typical characters of such in some very cringy creations… After giving most  the shake of their heads, a couple of words would accompany them, and like that, tons of Godly Journeyers either had their eyes brighten or lose color as they either understood or not their words.

Masters were the most respected type of Inhabitant in the game, mostly because Yun Beishang killed all those that are well above said Masters and from which almost every single one of them was capable of reaching much farther than these Masters whose greater strength and aid came from their knowledge alone.

However, it was thanks to these Masters, one way or another, the Journeyers became Godly Journeyers and that the Inhabitants— few in this manner —of Main Kingdom managed to learn the ways of finding their own ‘road to godliness’. Hence, whenever it was a decision or ‘decree’ that was more like an announcement from them, unlike before where the Tri-Allied Forces’ were still not a thing and when they were, the Masters were fully accepted and listened upon by all.

Now that the Masters have opened such portals to the open space of Main Kingdom and that there was many Godly Journeyers who even after understanding the words that the Masters said, still didn’t managed to get a spot for the incoming war, they could only focus on advancing as much as possible on their Sub-Classes.

Naturally, the reason for such was because, even though from the 15 billion Godly Journeyers, only a few million have been chosen from virtually all of them making a ‘tryout’ to be enlisted, any Godly Journeyer could still help by helping up with construction once the 60 days were over. Because once those 60 days’ worth of time came to an end, another small period of time would be available for Main Kingdom’s brand new Legendary Vanguard to build as many defensive points as possible before the barrier itself was thoroughly broken.

There were so many Godly Journeyers who had failed, and hence, there were that many around all of Main Kingdom, buying Yun Beishang’s books— that were basically notes —about Sub-Classes left and right, giving the Peaceful Rain Corporation some extra income every day that it was astounding. The price was set at 5 credits per ‘volume’ of books, otherwise, if it was priced at All-Mending Misery’s prices, the latter would’ve been long overtaken and left in the dust…

These 60 days, besides being all full of tense atmospheres as those who were still not denied an entry into the Unending War’s main event and that were indeed already accepted but weren’t getting any lazy and kept on becoming stronger by levelling, farming and practicing combat in arenas, soloing extremely low level BOSSes of Enlightened grade to even Legendary grade and so on.

All of them were already tense enough, but there were a few ‘events’ that went from happening all on Main Kingdom, like the sounds of something high above their heads being slapped, hammered down or even sounds akin to that of a bubble as durable as gold being kicked, the reverberating sound waves leaving the Inhabitants and Godly Journeyers quite distracted whenever rit happened.

And it wasn't a simple set of ‘hits’ that happened every now and then, every hour, at least 5 minutes of such would be heard, while it has been going for over a month and a half, the people may be able to getting used to it; but it was as distracting as ever.

…Right now, in the Peaceful Rain Household, however, Yun Beishang, a big bellied Sammy and a couple other Madams and maids were in Feat’s room whereas the owner of the room was on her stretched, sweating buckets and buckets while finally having an eased up expression on her face that has been struggling for a day and a half.

Finally, however, as Yun Beishang was right at Feat’s right side of her stretcher and the rest were behind him, the nurses already all leaving on their own accord, knowing that a nice payout was coming along with a few words from the Chief and not being stupid enough to think that he wasn’t being grateful; but was instead too damn focused on receiving his child and being with his wife.

Right now, as Feat’s heavy eyelids contorted in a painful release and relaxation of her entire body, as that feeling caved in like never before and she could barely lift her hands up, palms skywards, to receive her tiny baby boy that was crying out for dear life as life itself welcome him into the world.

“Here he is~.” With a soft, fatherly and loving voice, Yun Beishang semi-whispered to both mother and son of his, the former smiling with difficulty but right away and the latter calming down slowly. With Feat feeling the body of her son, his tiny little back, a bit chubby and his little limbs barely moving around for a little as he calmed down and relaxed softly, a good amount of tears came down her tomboyish eyes that gazed at her son’s tiny body with utter love.

“Yun…sniff, Yun Perseus. Ohoho, what do you think, do you like it, my Little Persy?” Feat spoke, very softly, bridging her fragile, tired hand close to her chin with her son looking back at her with surprise, a bit of shock and curious confusion - which then turned into pride, instinctive affection and mere joy!

“Yiyah~~!” Hearing his giggling, both parents of the beautiful baby boy looked down at the baby boy with melting tenderness, Yun Beishang kept his hands below Feat’s, making sure she wouldn’t have to overly exert herself right now and let her rest as she deserves to.

“Bo-Beishang…????.” Feat looked up at her husband after having already memorized her baby son’s image for the umpteenth time, her brown eyes never appearing more real, alive and full of love. Looking back down at her, Yun Beishang placed his left hand over the headboard, inclined his head over to hers and shared a little space consisting of his own head, his tired baby son’s self about to fall asleep and the extremely content and tired Feat’s head.

“...” Eskimo kissing her lots, their Little Percy began to finally fall asleep, his burrito mantle already keeping him warm and comfortable as he shut his tiniest eyelids with the image of his father and mother loving each other so much. Their warmth, already deeply instilled into his being, body and memory; this image of theirs would now forever remain in his most abundantly powerful heart.

“Okay, now get to rest.” Yun Beishang spoke softly at Feat’s face, whose rosy milk skin had become quite sweaty and full of exhausted spots here and there, a bit of pale and a bit of flaccidity from her body really finally getting to relax. With her lips closed but widely smiling, she then nodded before tucking her little son into her embrace, she was damn fit and more powerful than even Specialist trainees, but her giving birth to her first baby boy left her to the brink of fainting.

And now that she had her hubby taking care of herself and her son at the same time, she began closing her eyelids while their little son was really up close to her face. With her serene face and evening out breathing, she roundly fell asleep, her co-wives closing in to watch them sleep while Yun Beishang already took a chair to remain by her left side.

Among the co-wives, Serenia was present, holding her little Yun Xuanmiao letting him see his little brother, Tamara and Crystal were present as well and with their babies at that. Tamara had a baby boy obviously larger than the current Yun Perseus, Little Yun Edward looked at Little Percy with curiosity, and as he became excited at not being the second youngest, he flapped his little arms around a bit.

Yun Carolina, Yun Crystal’s daughter, was very curiously looking at the little sleeping boy that also had a similarity to herself just like all of her siblings do, the realization made her feel a if she discovered new alien technology and even managed to develop it. She looked at their father and gave him a proud chin, making Yun Beishang grin while mentally shaking his head.

All in all, with the addition of the newest family member into their lives, the Peaceful Rain Household became a bit more lively, the warmth around the entire family becoming larger the more ‘there are’ and the content peacefulness reaching out to everyone as soon as it even exists.

Without further ado, Yun Beishang looked at his wife Samantha and his young wife Kira, their silly bellies were so big that they were basically saying ‘babies want to see daddy and mommies!’. With that thought embedding itself into his brain, he was accompanied by said big bellied women and young girl, sitting to the left of Feat as the 5 of them were left alone to rest.

With the occasional Madam, maid and even kid coming over to see in silence, greeting their dad and Mommies before leaving after taking a good look at their Aunty that had become their Mommy as well now. The day of Yun Perseus’ birth was quickly gone by, with Feat waking up to the sight of three doofus resting on the left side of her stretcher.

Afterwards, with whispering voices and shushing sounds, all 5 of them fell asleep on Feat’s main bed after taking care of Yun Perseus a wee bit more.
