Chapter 4: Chapter 04: Weird Happenings

It was already noon when I woke up, but I'm not sure.

My guts is telling me it is already around 11 am. 

As soon as I woke up, I noticed a floating screen in front of me that didn't leave my sight no matter where I turned. 

At first, I thought I was hallucinating because of tiredness, but the screen seemed too real to be a hallucination. 

When I tried to touch it, my hands went right through it, but the sensation was similar to being scanned by an X-ray.

Comparing my current situation to a novel is not realistic, but I don't know what else to do. Everything that has happened to me since yesterday is unbelievable. 

I focused my attention on the writings on the floating screen. 

The screen said, "Do you want to start a new game?"

Below the question were two options: "Yes" and "No."

Below the options, there were small letters that said, "Warning: The decision you are going to make is irreversible. If you don't want to lose your humanity, tap No."

I exclaimed, "Huh!?" This statement is really scary. It could mean two things: that I'll lose my humanity in terms of abilities or appearance. 

Also, why did the whole thing start with the question "Do you want to start a new game?" I'm confused! 

Does this mean that if I chose "Yes," I'll be transported into a game?

I didn't think about it any deeper. I just decided to choose "Yes."

In a white room, a light can be seen in the shape of a human. In front of the entity were numerous screens displaying different people. 

On one of the screens was Hikaru, the main character of our story.
