Before Ace could end the kobold boss, the kobold boss appeared to be a master of dual wielding. Its two copper swords proved a little bit difficult for Ace to handle at first but with sufficient resilience, he was able to overcome his foe.

His levels had since undergone a huge significant rise but this still wasn't enough for Ace to fully feel satisfied.

He aimed to conquer all five floors as soon as possible and to farm every single monster that had re-spawn in the previous floors.

Ace continued to sneak behind the boars, ending them in swift succession and not offering them any chance of escape or retaliation.

More battle logs of the system popped up but Ace immediately swiped them away.

The dropped items of the boars weren't as much as the wolves but were still considerably better than the kobolds and goblins.

Ace had acquired both (Boar hide) and (Boar meat) during his time here on the fourth floor while a few boars dropped nothing he could add to his inventory.

Of course, the boss was handled with ease also but he still had to be prepared for the hurdles that lie ahead if he dreams of stopping Night Fury in the future.

For now, it seems the monsters appear easy to handle but Ace knows once he and the other players reach the Newbie Village, things would surely change.

The number of quests would reduce and the official journey for survival would commence.

For now, he aimed to complete the main and side quests before their time lapsed.

Ace turned around to see the portal emerging once again from the ground, Ace didn't hesitate before going in.

Upon entering, he suddenly found himself in a terrain filled with several red and yellow hovering hornets.

[Angry Hornet - Level 10]

[Lesser beast]

[HP: 100/100]

A few of the hornets spotted him from afar and launched towards him, aiming their stingers towards his way.

Unlike the previous floor beasts he had handled easily, the hornets proved to be a more formidable opponent.

Of course, a single strike wasn't enough to deal damage to the hornets, it took him approximately three strikes to end a single hornet.

To make matters worse, Ace only had a one in ten chance of obtaining a dropped item from the hornets even with his [LUK] attribute increasing.

Eventually, every single one of the hornets was handled with ease, leaving behind the hornet Queen for Ace to handle.

[Hornet Queen - Level 11]

[Lesser beast]

[HP: 110/110]

The huge six-meter-tall hornet took to the skies and flapped its wings, appearing huge before its opponent with violent gusts of winds aimed and sent towards Ace.

The hornet's height was enough to creep even the valiant player in the game, especially with its stinger being huge enough to kill a human being with one strike but not Ace.

This sort of intimidation wasn't going to work on a player like Ace. Immediately, he brandished his sword, dashing toward the hornet Queen with little dismay and trepidation.

The Hornet Queen noticed how Ace remained calm and determined even after noticing how huge it was. This made it angered by Ace's show of bravado and unrelenting bust of courage.

The hornet Queen, fueled with rage, aimed its stinger toward the silly human.

Three rapid firing of the poisonous stinger was aimed toward Ace's head. In a rapid deft response to the Queen's attack, Ace used his copper sword to parry her attack away, leaving his sword to suffer the damage of said move.

*Crack*

The sword cracked, shattering into various shards of metal parts. Now Ace had no weapon and no means of slowing down the Queen's relentless assault.

The queen offered him no time for recollecting his thoughts, it fired another two successions of rapid stinger shots.

Noticing that his end was violently knocking from the other side, Ace made a run for it right after he noticed the lack of leniency the queen had towards him as it charged with unyielding optimism.

He glanced toward his basic status.

[HP: 15/25]

[EXP: 597/1500]

[STA: 15/25]

[Hunger: 90/100]

"What do I do?" Hiding behind a tree, Ace panted heavily.

He scanned around his surroundings, hoping to find something of invaluable use.

A faint glimmer of hope sparkled towards the corner of his eyes. He had finally spotted something useful.

He shifted his gaze towards the queen and then towards his target placed on the floor. Both were in proximity to one another with the queen hovering just above his intended target.

"Nope!! It's too risky. There must be something else I can do," Ace said, trying not to admit to himself that he was afraid of dying.

He stole a peek at his attributes status and a soft chuckle seeped out from the corner of his lips.

"If one must make excuses for one's flaws, one should at least make it plausible." He turned towards the hornet Queen once again.

In the face of death itself, Ace wasn't going to back down.

"It's now or never," With a trembling smile, he lunged toward his target. He needed to rest to recover his HP and stamina but the hornet Queen won't grant him such luxury and so he opted to face the queen directly.

Though his eyes were fraught in desperation to survive, Ace still lunged toward the hornet Queen.

The hornet Queen turned and was startled by the rustling sound of dried leaves being stepped upon.

The sound made by Ace became clear and the Queen didn't dawdle any longer and aimed its stinger toward him.

Ace glided and evaded the hornet's ghastly stinger with his body bent backward and his hand quickly grabbing the item he needed.

"Got it,"

He hurried to his feet and ran forward, not wanting to waste any chance to escape the dangerous hornet.

But because the hornet was a queen with a more terrifying level. It was generally faster and stronger. It dealt two more strikes to his HP.

Ace's stamina dropped tremendously due to the poison flowing through his veins, his heartbeat was rising, and he knew once his HP bar dropped with one more strike, it would surely be the endgame for him.

A little bit concerned about this fact, Ace fumbled a bit with the item in his hands but stopped when the hornet stinger was just a few inches away from stinging him once again.

The queen noticed how stagnant he was and it aimed its stinger once again but Ace turned towards the hornet Queen with a smile on his lips and a newly crafted bronze sword aiming for the Queen's neck.

"Die!! You piece of sh*t!!"
