Kim smiled when Ace chose his class. [Hehe... Player has successfully chosen the class [Berserker]. Your target is to complete one or all the quests in the dungeon until you advance to the Newbie Village. Once you've advanced to the Newbie Village, further information will be revealed]
[Player will have to commence his journey just like everyone else from the deepest part of the Newbie Village, called The Underground Solo Dungeon. Player has been assigned to the Newbie Village number 666,]
Surviving Online was divided into two realms, the lower and upper realms. The lower realm consists of eighty thousand Underground Solo Dungeons, 800 newbie villages, the Alpha City, The Beta City, The Delta City, and The Omega City altogether.
While the upper realm was divided into five cities on a vast continent.
In the lower realm, all eighty thousand Underground Solo dungeons were underneath the eight hundred Newbie Villages.
Each village had a thousand Underground dungeons underneath it. All villages were located in the central part of the lower realm. The Alpha City was located in the Northern part while the Beta and Delta Cities were located in the Eastern and Western parts of the lower realm respectively.
The Omega City was located in the Southern part of the lower realm.
'Hmph,' Ace chuckled inwardly.
He thought back a bit and came to realize that the number of villages coincidentally tallied with the number of cell blocks in the Black Paradise prison facility.
Just like in Black Paradise, when compared in terms of cell blocks, there were eight hundred Newbie Villages.
The goal of every player is to complete one or all the quests of the dungeon before advancing toward their respective Newbie Villages.
And from there, they'll advance toward any of the four cities before they can finally ascend toward the upper realm.
[That will be all. Good luck and have fun.]
Kim wished him luck and waved her cute hands with a smile. Ace smiled back and he could feel his consciousness drifting off once again.
.....
Just as how the pixie had stated earlier, Ace was spawned in the underground dungeon underneath the Newbie Village.
He was currently wearing a rag tunic and rag pants which were the default clothing for all newbie players. Since this was a survival game, he wasn't awarded any weapons.
He recalled the nostalgic acrid stench of rotten carcasses hovering around the vicinity. The smell wafted into his nostrils.
Everywhere was pitch black and Ace couldn't see anything around him.
When he first arrived here, the stench had resulted in an incessant release of vomit but this time Ace puffed his chest and swore he won't show his weakness by puking like he did last time.
Ace had been offered a second chance, so there was no way he wouldn't grow immunity towards this uncanny stench.
Right?.....
*Bleh!!*
Ace couldn't hold it in anymore.
"There are some things you just can't get used to," He said while wiping his lips with his sleeves. That was shameful of him to express his weakness once again.
Ace knew the new players would probably be amazed by how real this Virtual reality game was. But the surroundings will surely make it difficult for most players to discern what was around them.
After all, the game was called Surviving Online. This underground dungeon was aimed towards training players on how to use various organs of their body to adapt to unexpected circumstances.
Once they've been able to adapt to it, the game will make it easier for them to move forward.
" What's holding the system from....." Ace wanted to lament but just before he could lament how the system was wasting time, a blue screen immediately appeared on his retina followed by a pleasing female voice.
[Commencing Player's Registration.]
At first, he was feeling impatient but right after he witnessed the screen, a huge smile appeared on his face and he muttered.
"Ace is back baby!!"

[Would you like to see your status?]
Ace replied inwardly. 'Yes,'
With his command, Ace's status window appeared before him. His status window could only be seen by him and it was divided into three pages.
The first page was his basic status:
[Name: Zero]
[Level: 1]
[Title: None]
[Class Title: Inchoate Berserker]
[Physique: Human.]
[HP: 10/10]
[EXP: 0/300]
[STA: 10/10]
[Hunger: 100/100]
.....
While the second window consisted of his four main attributes in addition to other attributes:
[STR: 0]
[AGI: 0]
[VIT: 0]
[LUK: 0]
[Physical Attack Strength: 0]
[Attack Speed: 0 ]
[Movement Speed: 0]
[Precision:0]
[Available attribute points: 50 points]
.....
The third contained his skills, inventory and coins gained which were all empty except for his bounty which was approximately a thousand gold coins just like every other newbie player.
[Skills:None]
[Inventory: Empty]
[Coins gained: None]
[Bounty: 1000 gold coins]
...
50 attribute points were awarded to each player.
Ace had guessed the creators insisted on allowing the pixie to skip this important information to trim the current number of players as much as they could.
After all, not every player would have an interest in reading a boring manual if it were handed to them. And the game wouldn't feel much like a survival game if players weren't meant to think fast according to situations like this.
As for the bounty, Ace was currently a mercenary, so he was bound to be aimed by the authorities of the Newbie Village once he had cleared the dungeon.
The same goes for every other player.
A reward will be handed out to the denizens of the village who can capture or report the exact location of these mercenaries.
"Time to distribute my attribute..."
While he was talking, Ace suddenly felt the ground shake violently.
It appears the first-floor monsters were approaching his way and they weren't walking, they were dashing toward him.
"Oh shoot..... They're here already?!"
Ace was surprised. He had little time to distribute his available points, he couldn't see his surroundings and it appears the monsters were rushing towards his way.
Immediately, Ace dropped to the floor and buried his two hands in the ground filled with the bones and rotten flesh of dead animals.
The nauseating aroma wafted into his nostrils once again but he held the urge to vomit this time around.
Ace dug his hands deeper into the soil to feel the vibrations of the ground. He cautiously listened to the sounds of the rushing monsters while glancing sideways as though he could see his surroundings.
This was a matter of life and death and he was busy hunkering down on the floor like a coward, if other players had seen him now, they would have surely called him a coward.
.....
Total number of players currently in the game: 79,990
Number of deceased players: 10
Total number of deceased players: 10
Author:- Wow! So ten players were already killed just a few seconds after the game officially began. Isn't that spooky?
