Chapter 1: 1 : The Begining

Max groans as he rubs the grogginess from his eyes. Shuffling in his half-awake state a small rock digs into his back. Jolting awake, he stares at the blue sky. Looming pine trees surround him, and his heart speeds up. ‘What the frick?’ He thinks to himself. A blue menu box appearing causes Max to yelp. “EEP!”

After getting the Survivalist class Max’s brain was filled with basic information on wilderness survival. Also, the Survivalist class lets him eat and drink most things without becoming ill. ‘I need to find a source of water’. He sets off towards a large river marked on his map. The smell of pine saturates the air. On his hike , he comes across a berry bush. ‘The system says these are safe to eat…’ he hesitantly pops one in his mouth. The burst of tart juice floods his tongue, he grins after swallowing. Feeling nothing unusual, Max continues to occasionally snack on some berries as he hikes. The sound of running water gradually increases until reaching the river. Sitting down on the river bank, Max relaxes.
